Emily Miller's eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the light streaming in from her window. But this wasn't how her window looked like. She inhaled a sharp breath when reality quickly sank in.
"Good morning," Rhys greeted her. He amused serious and obviously had been awake before her.
They had been intimate with each other before, but this was the first time ever that Emily had stayed over until morning. She had expected herself to leave after they both had drifted off to sleep the night before but to be honest; she was too tired to even walk back to her apartment.
"I fell asleep." She blushed and pulled the blanket tightly. The morning was extra cold.
Rhys smiled briefly. "We were both tired. I think I fell asleep before you."
