It's sunset when we get home. I step out of the car and stare at my parents' house. It's still a huge house with hammocks outside and a gorgeous garden in the backyard. A feeling of nostalgia washes through me as I stare at the building filled with so many memories. I can't help but think what would've happened if I never left... Noah is pulling Billie's suitcase out of the trunk of her car. Jack and I didn't carry any suitcases. He carried a little backpack. I carried my handbag.
