"You want me to what!” Trina exclaims loudly into my ears.
"Come on Tri.” I urge on and she stops pacing around to look at me with those her 'are you crazy eyes.’
"Are you crazy!”
Totally saw that coming.
"You want me to help you break into one of the most warded and guarded place on mother earth , just to try and rescue a guy who tried to kidnap you?”
I get up from my sitting position and stand straight. I run my hand through my hair and take in a deep breath.
"He's not just any guy Trina…. I think he's my brother."
Silence follows and I wonder if she's frozen.
"Are you insane?!” She yells again and this time I have to roll my eyes a bit.
"You know what…. It was really a bad idea to call you here.” I begin packing my stuff from the table to leave.
"What are you doing?” She asks perplexed.
"If you don't want to help then that's fine.” Her eyes widens at my statement and I stand facing her.
"Time is going, and if I don't hurry up I'm gonna regret this for the rest of my life." I nod at her.
"Thanks for hearing me out at least. See you around.” I give her a hug but it seems she's totally surprised and confused such that she doesn't hug back.
I nod one last time then head for the exit.
She's going to call me back in 5..4…3..2.
"Wait Claire!” I quickly stop in my tracks and smile to myself.
Worked.
I slowly turn to meet her worried expression.
"You're going to do this all by yourself?” She asks concerned and I nod.
Taking a sarcastic tone. "I mean, I tried asking for your help but….”
"Will you stop it with the act.” She suddenly looks at me annoyed and I can't stifle my smile anymore. I slowly laugh at her and she rolls her eyes.
She gestures for us to return to our table and I laugh at her whilst doing so.
"I didn't say I won't help you…. what you just told me is a lot to take in.” I nod understanding her.
"Besides what kinda best friend would I be if I let you do this alone?”
"The worst.” I reply smiling.
"You aren't kidding about this guy being your brother?” She suddenly turns more serious and so do I.
"I'm not really sure T, but why else would I see him in my dream. It just feels like a loose end I have to tie up.” I reply looking into vacuum whilst reminiscing on my dream.
Suddenly I feel a warm hand squeeze mine on the table and I slowly smile at Trina and squeeze hers back.
"I get you,.....and I do love a quest, So what's the plan.” I smirk at her.
"I'm glad you asked.”
*
"So here's the plan.” I pick a pencil and some paper to lay out the plan to Trina.
"I got info that some rogue prisoners are being transferred to an execution site and luckily for us, Alex is part.” Trina nods.
"So we're going to follow the car, maybe get them to stop if it's not too risky……
"Then we kidnap your brother.” She ends my statement and I have to smile at her.
"But we have to follow them undetected.”
"And I have to perform a spell in a moving vehicle.” She smiles awkwardly but I figured something is wrong.
"What's wrong?” I ask and she shakes her head for a moment but then sighs.
"Performing spells in moving places is kinda difficult……but luckily for you I can do it.” I smile at her positiveness.
"Also what's to say that…..Alex will follow you willing?” She quirks her eyebrows at me.
"Well…” I hesitate remembering he's also a rogue.
"And there's the fact that you're not hundred percent sure. What if we break him out then he escapes from us, we would have let a killer on the loose.”
Wow. And she chooses to bombard me with these questions now.
"Trust your instincts.” Mia whispers in my head.
"And if he's not our brother then we'll deal with it.” I nod and thank her for her encouragement.
"If he's not my brother then I'll deal with it. I won't let him hurt anyone else.” She nods then picks up the paper.
"You were always bad at drawing.” She eases the tension in the room as we explode into laugh.

Evening arrives and I decide to take a quick shower before climbing into bed to anticipate for the next day.
I dry my hair in the bathroom when Trina suddenly calls out to me.
"I'm coming.” I yell out.
"Hurry up. It's Ethan.” At the mention of Ethan's name I freeze.
"Oh s**t!” I exclaim and quickly hurry up to leave the bathroom hoping Trina didn't answer the call.
I wrap my towel around me then open the bathroom door to see Trina on our bed with my phone on her ear giggling at something.
"Trina!” I shout whisper her name and she quickly turns around to read the shock expression on my face.
She looks at me confused still talking to Ethan.
She's about to tell Ethan I'm here but I quickly shake my head and she even looks more confused.
Fortunately for me she catches the clue and quickly formulates a lie then ends the call.
"Please tell me you didn't tell him what we're doing?" I ask the moment she puts the phone down.
"No.” She replies still confused whilst I let out a sigh of relief.
"I didn't get the chance to.” She adds.
I move to my suitcase to find some clothes to wear as she stares me down curiously.
"Ethan doesn't know you're here doing this, does he?” I nod at her reply.
I find the perfect nightwear then put it on.
"Why?” She's now sitting on the bed looking serious.
I sigh at her question then take in a deep breath.
"Nobody except you and my aunt knows that I'm doing this….. it's just a safety measure.”
"For what?” She questions worriedly.
"Calm down Trina, it's just so if anything happens to me, I won't be traced back to anyone.” I see her swallow at this.
"You know this is a stupid plan right?” I smile at her question and shrug. She gets up from the bed and approaches me. She places both hands on my shoulders then looks me in the eyes.
"I'm not gonna let that happen. I'll get you and your brother out of there. Trust me.” I see the assurance in her eyes before we hug.
"Besides you know the family you have. You know they will stop at nothing till they get you back, especially that mate of yours.” We pull away and I chuckle.
"But why didn't you want to talk to him?” She questions again.
"Because it's hard to hear his voice when I'm lying.” I respond staring into vacuum.
"He's so worried about me all the time even about the most slightest stuff.
It's cute and all but I hate to see him worry especially about me, and especially when there are a million things to worry about, like his pack.”
"Yep. That's what you signed yourself up for.” She pats me on the shoulder and I chuckle again.
"So what did you tell him?” I sigh at Trina's question.
"Family time.” I shrug.
"James and Chris are covering up for me.” I add and she nods.
"But you didn't tell them?” I shake my head at first then I remember I had to tell Chris so he'll cover up for me.
He is kinda pissed at what I'm doing but I made it clear to him that I'm not letting my other brother die and that I would keep him away from Blueville.
Trina gives me one last hug before heading for the bed.
We have a big day tomorrow.

A car passes in front of us then a long truck which looks highly secured. Another car like the first one in front of it follows behind and I wait for about two more cars to pass before we start our chase.
"That truck is huge. They're definitely in there.” Trina voices my thought as I try to follow them undetected.
"There's no spell on the truck. I can get you in and out quick.” I nod at her but in my head I know it can't be that easy.
"Here, put this in.” She hands me the small hearing device and we quickly switch places so she takes the wheel.
"You ready?” She says seeing that we can't get the truck to stop, we have to get Alex now as she follows.
"Ready.” I nod.
"Close you eyes.” I nod again and do as she says.
The only thing I hear now is vehicles passing by until I finally hear silence.
I slowly open my eyes to find myself in a different environment, I'm inside.
I look ahead and the inside of the truck looks high tech with blue neon light.
I spot a cell door and some compartments to the right making the left a walk way. I approach the door and I find it locked.
"Trina. There's a door in front on me. It's locked.”
I wait for a reply but nothing comes.
"Trina?” I call again but nothing. I take out the hearing device to see if it's damaged but I find there's nothing wrong with it.
There must be something here blocking all communication devices. I sigh realising that I'm on my own.
I find a keypad on the door and I look straight ahead to the where the driver is.
If I'm able to jam this door really quick I can run and make it on time to prevent anyone from coming in through the driver's side.
I look around for an object and when I don't see any I swallow at what I have to do.
I drive my fist into the keypad and an alarm suddenly goes off.
The door opens just as I see some movement from the driver's side.
I open the door and quickly rush to go and lock them up but a certain bulky guy comes out of nowhere and I stop in my tracks.
One of the guy joins him and they both stand in my way.
"Samantha?” Someone calls out my name and I look to the cell at my left.
I spot a familiar face and at first his beard has me thinking twice but when I look into his eyes I almost gasp.
"Alex.” I whisper and he looks surprised that I know his name.
Suddenly he grabs the bars then shake it violently trying to get out.
"Stop I'm here to help you.” I exclaim but he looks back at me with fear in his eyes.
"You have to get out of here. They're not werewolves.” I crease my forehead then slowly look at the two huge men in front of me.
A sinister smile plays on their lips before they begin transforming ripping off their clothes in the process.
Lots of hair appears on their bodies and I watch us a huge snout and teeth take over their faces as well as they're body color changes to that of deep grey. Long ears like that of a werewolf appears and their limbs too takes the shape of that of a werewolf's. But theirs look much stronger, much muscular like it can support their full body weight.
They stand on their two feet snarling at me.
My breath gets caught in my throat and fear evident on my face when I stare at the two lycans in front of me.
"Oh s…….
