Learn and Test
By Monday morning Teddy had righted himself. As he entered the school grounds, he wasn't sure how to tell Tem what had happened at Jesse's house. Teddy still wanted to test the two remaining amulets, and speaking about the flower pyramid might cause Tem to freeze and stop the tests. Teddy knew that if what had happened at the Buckleys' had overwhelmed him, it would sink Tem. But if they were to unlock the powers of the green and red amulets, he had to tell Tem everything.
Teddy reviewed what he had learned. The Book of Symbols did reveal secrets. He could only conclude that there was a reason for the revelation of these secrets. Otherwise, he and Tem would never have been able to conduct the first test. He thought this must be a sign that it was right for them to continue.
