Abbie had no reason to cry over divorcing Josh. Not anymore, even the fact that she was about to leave the man whom she fell head over heels in love with. Although, she did however want something else: in the back of her mind, she wanted to get her husband back, begging on his knees to forgive her for being a douche bag. Maybe keeping him handing will make it worse for him. Josh needs a taste of his own medicine, being ordered around by someone else. That’ll be a good lesson for him.
As she finished packing up her things, her mind was set on the next step for Josh’s lesson. Whoever the sick man or woman who shared that fake photo with Josh will soon regret what they did, no matter if they try and get her to forgive him or her.
The hardest part is emptying her things out of Josh’s house. They lived there the day they got married and the fact that taking all of her things makes her slightly sad, but it needed to be done. Shaking her head, she got rid of all of the bad thoughts and called Amanda. “Hey girl.”
“Abbie! Hi!”
“How are you?”
“I’m great! How about you?”
“I’m okay.”
“What’s going on?”
“Remember Dave?”
“Jones?”
“Yes.”
“That bastard who took the photos and videos of you?”
“Yes.”
“God I hated him! What happened?”
“I think either him or Evan may have leaked the photo to Josh, photoshopping it.”
“Girl, no way!”
“Can you help me?”
“Girl, you know I will! Are you and Josh ending things?”
“We’re in the process of a divorce, but that is getting taken care of at the moment.”
*** 4 hours later: Josh wanted to cry when he saw all of Abbie’s items gone. She didn’t leave a single piece of clothing or anything. Knowing the fact that Abbie packed up her s**t without saying goodbye may have hurt the most. The girl he loved officially slipped out of hands.
But he needed to remember that she’s the one who cheated on him. So why the hell should he get wrapped in her when he can find someone else? Maybe Vivian is still available. Those thoughts in his head still killed him emotionally and he in a way didn’t want to let Abbie go. Ever.
The next day, he went to Abbie’s office and saw her bent over packing more things in boxes. “Abbie?”
“What do you want?” she asked without looking at him.
“No.”
“Please.”
She shook her head and slowly stood up. “You have two minutes, Josh.”
“Are you okay? Where are you going?”
“You care, why?” she asked rolling her eyes.
As she pushed past him with a box in her arms and he grabbed her hand just as she went to leave. “Josh, what are you...”
He crashed his lips onto hers, savoring one last kiss. Just as he slid his hand down her skirt, she shook her head. “Not anymore Josh.”
“W-what?”
She straightened her skirt and walked through the door. “I’m not your little playgirl anymore, Josh.”
“Abbie...”
“I’ll see you in court, Josh.”
