Chapter Three

Aiden's POV

Holy f**k what is going on. This girl came out of no where with this posse of girls and one guy. Seams like he is being forced to come here. The fake blond one that looks like a clown is talking.I'm not paying any attention to her at all. I'm in this trance looking at Tayla. Its like I'm drawn to her. I know that something is going to happen when I see the twins nod to Tayla and move behind me and the other guy. I get this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Brody whispers in my ear, I don't want to hurt you, so don't try anything okay. Whats going on I ask as the small girl moves behind where the phone is and turns it onto a song i haven't herd before. The song gets me pumped up though. I see Tayla crack her neck and put her hair in a bun. I let out a small gasp as I see the extent of her scar. What happened to her? Who would scar such a beautiful person. I'm not horrified by her scares. In fact, they make me want to know her whole story. they enter the wood on the outskirts of the school. Even I know that fighting is a big no no within a pack. The Becky girl shifts into a brown wolf about 5 foot tall at her head. That's about average for a she-wolf. Nothing to really take a second look at. I look at Tayla who isn't even flinching at the girl that just shifted in front of her eyes. Wow Tayla is amazing I say. Brody says you have no idea, with a knowing look. Watch its about to start, and like on que she screams. My who body freezes while I hear bones breaking and her changing. I snap out of it when she screams again. I try to run to her to calm her down. Brody grabs me in a bear hug. Damn you Brody let me go. The brown wolf takes the opportunity to try and leap at her. Tayla doubles over just in time to doge the attack. I have to get to her. I'm still trying to struggle when I hear another scream, but this one turns to a howl half way through the scream. I look up and see this amazing wolf. She is silver with a black streak running from the back of her head to the tip of her tail. She growls at the brown wolf who imminently whines and shifts back to human form. How interesting. Brody lets me go and Tayla wines, then looks at what use to be her clothes. I chuckle and go over to her tattered clothes. Close my eyes and envision what they looked like before she shifted. I open my eyes and the are back to normal. She walks over to a bush. I get it I say more to my self. She shifts back and gets dressed.  My breath hitches as soon as she steps out from behind the bush. At that moment I know that I have found my other half my destined partner.

Kale's POV 

Why is Becky dragging me to the tree line. That's where Tayla and her friend hangout on lunch. I can hear the music and become irritated when I see a brown haired boy behind her. I no longer try to pull away from Becky. I cant help my wolf Deismon becoming anxious and start whining. 

What is going on I ask him.

I don't know yet, but its not good he replies

I know that Tayla is up to no good, when she has Mia turn that dang song on. She always plays that song when we are going to start hand to hand combat.  What is going on. Tayla don't I say. She looks at me dead in the face and replies with I don't take orders from you. I' taken aback and a little hurt. I look at her in the eyes trying to plead with her. I notice her eyes are changing color. Oh f**k. She cant be shifting now its not yet her birthday. The pack isn't here to see her transform. Its law that you must have your pack with you when you shift for the first time. I notice that Becky had shifted. No no no, she is going to kill Tayla. I have to do something. I try to move and and stooped dead in my traces by a pair of strong arms. Damn it Brice let me go Becky is going to kill her. Brice just laughs and says watch the show. Its going to be amazing. Whats going to be amazing, she is going to die. That's when I hear the first bone break and a scream coming from Tayla. I look around waiting for someone to stop her. I look at her friends that I can see and there eyes are all shining yellow. That's when I realize this is her pack. s**t s**t s**t. This is not good. How did she create a pack under my nose like that. How can she do that. So many questions run in my head. I'm snapped back to the present when I hear another scream. She doubles over just as Becky's wolf leaps at her just missing her neck. Let me go I say through gritted teeth. I can't i'm sorry he says. She screams one last time and mid scream it turns to a howl. I look at her she is beautiful. Silver. What I have never heard of a silver wolf. Only in myth is there a mention of a silver wolf. They are touched my the moon goddess her self and fated to have two mates. I notice that she also has a black spot in her right eye and a streak on her back. She growls at Becky and for some reason Becky whines and shifts back immediately. She is 2 feet taller then the brown wolf. That is unusual, but then again Tayla is unusual in nature. Tayla wines and Brice lets me go. All I can do is stare at her beauty. The brown haired guy grabs her clothes and pleases them on the other side of the bush. she shifts back.  I inhale the most mouth watering smell ever. It smells like fresh baked apple pie and bacon.

Deismon shouts MATE in my head.

Tayla's POV

Ayla's voice comes out of my mouth. Mates.

At first I thought that it was the twins. It's not uncommon to have one mate for a set of twins. I walk over to them and sniff. They both shake there head at me. Nope not them. I notice that both Aiden and Kale are moving toward me. I growl at them letting them know not to get any closer. Aiden stops in his tracks, but Kale growls back and just moves closer. I make eye contact with Kale and he stops. Cat gasps and I'm brought out of the trans I was in. I look at my friends and the BRATS. They all get down on one knee as if I was the alpha. I don't know what to do or say, when I feel a sort of jolt of electricity go up both arm. I look to my right and see Aiden and then to the left and see Kale. Its okay Kale said. I start to panic. Looking around. My friends snap there heads up from the ground and are by me in a instant. Pushing my mates out of the way. Is she okay Mia asks looking me over for wounds. Cat says she is just freaked out give her space everyone. She opens the link that her and I can only hear. When I nod run. I know that this is freaking you out. I'll cover for you and meet up at our tree house latter. Thank you, let the others know what you need I say. I break the connection and within seconds she nods. I take off running as fast as my feet will take me. Straight to my bike. I hear Brody and Brice cry in pain and growl loudly at who ever did it. Its Aiden and Kale be hind me. I grab my helmet. Slam it on my head a little to hard. Swing my leg over the bike, kick the She Devil to life. I'm out of the parking lot before they make it to the pavement. I look in the mirror. I see them both looking hurt and mad. I pull into the driveway. Paul is waiting for me when I turn the engine off. We need to talk is all he says, then walks into the house. Um okay I say. I can feel a pushing in the back of my mind. I open the link to Mia yelling at me. Tayla something is wrong! The new boy and Kale are pissed at you for running and looking for you. They hurt the boys. We will meet you at the tree house. The connection is broken. I walk into the house and run right into Paul. Come sit down we have much to discus. He walks into the living room sitting in the arm chair. He motions for me to sit. I don't have time for this I say. You will sit, this is about your mom. I freeze looking at him. I have much to say and not a lot of time. You shifted for the first time today. I felt the aura that you released. I'm so confused I say. Sit please he pleads with his eyes. I sit. He hands me a wrapped book. This is your moms gift to you. Its her family history and yours. She made me promise that if anything ever happened to her that you would get this. I look down at it, it looks like a ordinary book. This is my moms history. Isn't she a she-wolf?
