They are nothing short of Chimera spawn

Before The Beginning
God the being there before the beginning and after the end wanted to create something in his own image. But he realized that they would need a place to live. He began with his creation. When God created the known universe he also created counter part to each planet with its own seperate ecosystem. The planet was built in the same manner firstly with light breaking the dark void. This made the days and the night. When he saw it was good he then made the Earth with its counter part Rosé. Filling it with ruby water like he did with the sapphire of Earth after which he separated the land from sea in different formations as to not make them identical in terrain. On Earth he started on flora and the fanua before moving onto Rosé. On Earth he created lions, dinosaurs, and fish the size of tanks. On Rosé he created the creatures of imagination: locness, unicorns, magical dragons, saiter, minotaur, and mermaids. When he created man on Earth he made the elves on Rosé. This twin planet, Rosé, looked like a sonoran sunset cuprite chrysocolla with the emerald colored trees and ruby oceans and lakes. The terrian is rocky with the rust red earth covered in irredesent jewels called ópolo that glow brightly at night. When he saw that it was good he'd watch over these planets while he let the self develop. This peaceful planet full of elves - that are indistinguishable from humans in physical attributes - and mythical creatures began to develop systems to govern themselves. The creature the most powerful in strength and zeva were the four dragons. They created relationships with each other to protect their world. They created four evenly sized regions that split the planet up but they still worked together. The four dragons protected behind the scenes. These regions were named after their dragon protectors: Tothaz, Shalong, A'ma'rith, and Numa. The dragons were peaceful and had no desire to interfere with the natives or their affairs until they noticed groups of elves developing towns and provinces within their regions. While surveying the towns thay saw natives with weapons following them. These brave natives met these dragons and were explained the regions, hence how they got their names, and it brought the two species closer to an alliance. The towns and capitals were prospering. Cafes with full glass walls to see the scenery 360 degrees around. Bakeries selling tarts filled with wild arola and fruit and jellies made of arola leaves. Libraries teeming with towering twisting shelves that stretched up to 50 feet with multiple seating areas. These shelves were overflowing with scrolls and manuscripts about far-off lands and zeva. The stores sold clothes made of minatur hides of various colors dyed with the needles of ucet, that covered the land, that gave a richer tone to the hides. Even one region developed an academy to teach the younger generation how to properly use zeva. The natives used zeva, the power that to protect themselves, against the evil undead like creatures; Ebon or phantoms. The Ebon grow from the darkness of the lost souls on Earth with their twisted features and the deepest garnet red eyes. They are only visible to those who had graduates of the academy, Alaesarryin, in the A'ma'rith region. Alaesarryin is a multi-class level school with zeva principal, beast taming, and zeva control. These lead to multiple career paths: The Crimson Warriors, educators, explorers, beast tamers, and baristas. When they study a profession then graduate from a class or group of classes the first time they are granted the first spellseal. The spellseal is a marker on the natives skin that shows profession and then what mastery they have. The more complicated the spellseal the better the mastery is. The dragons saw these spellseals designed in their likeness and remembered that they have natural use of zeva like them. While their control isn't as skilled they could still fight against the Ebon alongside them. Tothaz suggested that they train the elves but A'ma'rith took offense to that saying that they could deal with the mysterious Ebon themselves. Mild infighting between the dragons happen but they agreed on a compromise that goes like so, "Show them but don't instruct. Have them help with fighting Ebon. But don't train the natives in zeva." During the time that the dragons fought the Ebon the natives were getting more control over zeva. Slowly they stopped caring about fighting Ebon but rather the other regions for ópolo, rock with a different type of zeva. Ópolo was used in armor, lights, decorations, and other useful items. These wars for the ópolo was called The Ópolo Purge. Then one fateful event changed the minds of the natives from fighting themselves to refocusing their attention onto the ebon. The day Thosvalgam arrived at a café in the A'ma'rith region. That day would be called Chimera Unveiled.
