Janet scared her off apparently. i***t. My intercom buzzes, Mia announces, “There’s a Mr. Jackson to see you. He doesn’t have an appointment but he’s insistent that it’s urgent. It’s something about your ex-wife.”  Mia’s been pissy the last few days. Professional but abrupt. I like flirty Mia better. I’ll have to apologize. Maybe she didn’t like that necklace.
