"Of course! Are we going to meet Grandpa now? Should I get changed?"
Chase sized his son up and down, "Nope." His boy always looked the best. The Maybach braked before a giant villa. Getting off the car, Cole followed his dad into the hall. The decoration of the whole place looked luxurious. Cole decided secretly that he would also build a house like this for his mom when he grew up and got rich, not noticing everyone was staring at him the moment he got into the house.
"Sheesh, the Prince finally decided to come. What an honor!" Cameron, Chase's younger brother, exclaimed the second he saw his little nephew. He approached the bot with a curious look on his face, "How have you been, man?"
"Not bad," Cole shrugged, "What about you?"
"I… I'm doing great," the look on Cameron's face was pure astonishment. His nephew had never been so polite to him before. The boy always deemed him as his enemy and would usually ignore him. Cameron was not the only one who was surprised. Everyone in the hall was shocked. Kevin had always been a detached little pain in the ass. When did he become so friendly?
"Kevin, come to Grandpa," Edward, Kevin's grandfather, asked with a warm smile on his face. Cole went to the nice old man instantly. Edward put one large hand on the top of Cole's fluffy head, "You've been away for a while, my boy. I always want to buy you some gifts but I can't see you often. What do you want? You can tell Grandpa and Grandpa will buy all of them for you."
Cole thought for a while and shook his head.
"You don't want any gifts?"
"Yeah, I've got everything I need back in the house. You don't need to buy anything for me, Grandpa. I appreciate it though." Cole smiled at the old man.
"When did this little brat become so adorable? Before I left this country, he always had this pinching look on his face… What did you do to him?" Cameron was so confused.
Chase's features were hard and cold, "I didn't do anything. My boy can be social as long as it seems fit." The look was still the same. The tone was clearly proud. Cameron just couldn't feel something was off with the boy. When did the boy become so cute and friendly? But it was not necessarily a bad thing. From now on, he just had one less enemy and one more friend.
"Grandpa, I'm a bit hungry. When will we eat?"
"The meal will be prepared soon."
The butler started to prepare the meal instantly. All the members of the house say by the table. Staring at the food on the table, Cole couldn't help swallowing. He had never seen so many exquisite dishes before. Monna, Mia, and Mommy probably had always never had anything like this. Cole wished he could bring some of the food back and let them have a taste.
"What's wrong, Kevin? Why don't you eat?" Cameron asked curiously.
"Well…" Cole seemed a bit hesitant.
"Just say it. It's okay," Edward smiled at his boy warmly.
"Can I…" Cole blushed, "Can I take some of the food back?"
