"Which one do you like? I can tell the kitchen to cook it for you."
Cole scratched the back of his head awkwardly, "I think they all look good…"
Edward raised an eyebrow and gave an order, "Well, since Kevin likes all of them. None of you can eat the meal. I'll let him take away all of the dishes."
Cameron went dumbfounded, "Are you serious? Isn't this my welcoming meal? Don't you think it's a bit too much?"
"Be quiet," the old man gave Cameron a stern look, "Kevin likes them and they're all his."
Cameron wanted to cry. Was he really this old man's son? Was he adopted? Chase was also a bit surprised. But he still put down the fork as his father was giving him a death stare. Grandpa was literally spoiling Kevin. Cole's mouth fell open. He even became a bit jealous of Kevin now. The maids came and packed all the food for Cole.
"I wouldn't have come if I knew I would be starved…" Cameron complained.
"You're almost 30. You can't fight for food with a child," Edward cut him off instantly. Cameron was so upset. Today was his welcome party, but Kevin's presence just changed everything. This was probably a part of that little devil's plan. He had probably planned all this to starve his uncle!
"Kevin, have I ever offended you? Why don't I remember?" Cameron asked the boy sourly.
Cole blinked before he pushed two packed potions of food to his uncle, "You can have this!"
Well… Cameron never expected this to happen. Based on what he knew about Kevin, the boy would just laugh at him at this point.
"What is your scheme, Kevin Dalton," Cameron huffed in a low voice.
Cole, however, approached him and pressed a kiss on his cheek, "You're the best uncle in the whole world."
Cameron was completely shocked. He rubbed his cheek with an incredible look in his eyes, "Did you… just kiss me? Why?"
"Because I like you."
Cameron was so confused, "Kevin, whatever you're planning against your poor uncle… Please have mercy and stop. I'm just a very old man with a fragile heart. I'll buy you a gift if you decide to leave me alone."
Cole chuckled. What was wrong with this man? He was so funny.
"Here, my sweet boy," Kevin's Grandma suddenly gave a card to Cole, "Take it. There are 500 grand on the card. You can take them and buy things you need."
Cole's eyes were lit up. Sheesh! 500 grand! It's mom's whole year's salary.
"Your grandpa and I don't know what things you really like. You can buy whatever you want with the money."
Cole gave the card back instantly, "Thank you, Grandma. But I can't take it."
