66 This is an emergency

Chase only shook his head. "You should really go upstairs to check out Grandma," Cole said. Mommy was still waiting in the garage. Chase thus walked upstairs. Cameron followed his steps, but Cole stopped him by pulling at the hem of his shirt. "Any problem?" "Would you do me a favor, Uncle?" "What is it? And why should I help you?" Cameron pulled a straight face deliberately. Cole thought for a pause, "If you'd like to help, I'll do another thing for you. Sounds fair?" A big smile broke Cameron's face, "Sure. No problem." … Cameron walked to the garage, mumbling to himself, "Kevin is such a smart boy…" He knew Kevin did this because Chase had been an asshole to Madam Dussa. He still remembered Chase had abandoned that poor woman in the garden for no reason. Cameron thought Kevin was doing the right thing this time. He'd love to help the boy. Chase went to Kate's bedroom. The old woman couldn't stop complaining, "Why did you come up so late? You don't even care about me as much as your son. Kevin invited a world-class doctor for me this time." Chase frowned, "A world-class doctor? Who?" "Madam Dussa, of course," the old woman said. Madam Dussa? Lola Swain? Kevin invited that woman to treat his mother? Why? What was her purpose for coming here? Multiple questions emerged in Chase's head. He couldn't listen to anything Kate said, "Where's the doctor now?" "She's gone downstairs a while ago. You didn't see her when you came up? I thought she was nice so I asked you to come upstairs. I didn't expect you to talk with your father…" She had left? Chase stormed out of the room before Kate could finish. "Chase! Where are you going?" Kate frowned as she called out behind her son. Chase didn't even look back. He didn't see Kevin or Cameron downstairs, so he called Cameron directly. Cameron hesitated for a pause before he picked up the phone, "Any problem, Chase?" "Where's Madam Dussa?" "Why… Why would I know?" "Bring her back to the mansion in five minutes or I'll kick you out of the country." "Bu-but I just came back…" Cameron whined. Lola heard Cameron's voice and she was so ready to go, "You're finally here. Can we leave now?" Cameron was a bit awkward as he stared at her. He didn't have the heart to tell her the truth. She seemed like she couldn't wait to leave. But if he didn't bring her back, Chase would probably skin him alive. Cameron had no choice but to sacrifice Lola. "Ma-Madam Dussa, do you mind going back to the living hall right now?" What?! "The living hall? I thought we were gonna leave…" Lola's eyes were as wide as saucers. She thought she had heard it wrong. "Yeah… I bet Kevin told you that. But this is an emergency," Cameron forced out a smile, "You need to go back to the living hall right now." “Emergency? What emergency?” Lola was dumbfounded. But the next second, a thought popped into her mind all of a sudden. Chase! Chase has found out I am here?! No way! That man will certainly make me pay for the intrusion. Should I just tell him the truth that I am here to cure his mom? But will that jerk believe me? He will probably think I have an evil intention again! What will he do to me when he finds out? AHHH! When could this bastard be less of a jerk?! Why am I so unlucky? Lola sighed and strode toward the hall.
