Lola went for the kidnapper directly. But the guy was a fast runner. Lola kicked off her high heels and chased after him on bare feet. The small route was scattered with small rocks. It was hurt like hell when her bare feet touched its surface, but Lola didn't care.
Before that man could put Kevin in his car, Lola grabbed his wrist. Pulling out a silver needle she carrying with her, Lola sank the needle on his neck, "How dare you touch my boy!"
Lola was a great doctor. She knew how to paralyze people with her needles. The man started to scream in pain. Lola kicked him on his chest.
"b***h! I'm gonna kill you!" Before the kidnaper could approach Lola, a little rock flew toward him and got him on his eye.
"Who did this?! Show yourself!" The man yelled like a madman, covering his injured eyes.
Another little rock sent flying to his another eye. The man screamed as his knees gave away. Lola held and Kevin and started to run. She noticed a couple of black-suited guys were coming this way. They were probably the kidnapper's helpers. After they finally left the dangerous place, Lola put Kevin down, panting.
"Are you alright?"
"Are you okay?"
They asked each other at the same time. "I'm okay. Did they hurt you, Kevin?"
Kevin shook his head and looked down, noticing Lola's feet were bleeding. It looked painful. Lola also saw the injury following Kevin's eyes.
"Ouch…" She only felt painful now.
Keeping Kevin safe had been the only thing on her mind, her feet were pretty painful, but she didn't expect it to be so serious…
Now she only felt she couldn't even walk.
"Where are your shoes?"
"I left them back there… I don't think we should go back. Those guys are probably still around."
"I think you should go to the hospital first. I'll buy you a pair of shoes when we get there."
Lola nodded happily. When she started to walk, however, it felt like hell. She felt like the little mermaid, and not in a beautiful way. Kevin sighed. If she kept walking like this, it would take forever for them to go to the hospital. He'd rather she walked faster so she could get the treatment sooner.
So the boy looked back with a scared look on his face, "Hurry! I think they're coming this way…"
Without saying anything, Lola started to run in the direction of their car. She opened the car door and let Kevin get in first.
"Are they close?" Lola asked in a shaky voice as she looked back. But she saw no one…
"You don't feel hurt anymore?" Kevin asked.
"Ouch…" Lola grimaced as she sat on the driver's seat.
"Let's go to the hospital, now," the boy gave an order. His attitude constantly reminded Lola of Chase. That bastard tended to order her around all the time. Lola hated it, but there was nothing she could do. Oh… Now that her feet hurt, did it mean that she didn't have to go to the mansion tomorrow? If she didn't need to go there, Kevin and Cole didn't even need to switch back. She can perform the treatment for Kevin at home. She wondered if Chase was gonna agree…
Lola was a doctor herself. When the doctor in the hospital tried to inspect her wounds, she only wanted to end the treatment as fast as she could, "These are just small wounds. You can just clean them and warp them up and it will be fine…"
The doctor was not pleased, "I know how to deal with wounds, ma'am. I don't need your instructions."
Kevin was a bit unhappy as he saw Lola being treated that way, "She's the most famous doctor around the world. You're nothing compared with her."
