Chapter Ten

I just finished singing Umbrella.
?: “That was great, Miki. Would you please sing another song for us?”
Miki: “Of course, I’d be happy to.”
I sing Freak the Freak Out. Kou sends me a thumbs up. It has been a few days since the whole Kino thing happened. Kou called me to meet a contact of his and right now I am performing for him to see if I have the talent he is looking for. His name is Takao.
Takao: “That was great, Miki. You are exactly the type of talent we have been searching for. I would like to set up our next meeting with you if you’re up for it.”
Miki: “I would love to.”
I shake his hand and set up my next meeting with him. Then Kou and I get into our limo.
Kou: “You were wonderful up there, Neko-kun.”
Miki: “Thank you for getting in touch with him, Kou-nii.”
Kou: “It was my pleasure.”
I sit in his lap and made out with him. He drops me off at my house, where I am met by Shu.
Shu: “How was your try-out?”
I smile as I hug my brother.
Miki: “It was great. I made it in and have another meeting next week.”
He holds me tight against his body.
Shu: “Karlheinz is here.”
I freeze at his words.
Miki: “What does he want?”
Shu: “He wants to see you.”
I hide my face in Shu’s chest, calming myself, before looking up at him.
Miki: “Alright.”
I kiss his lips before going inside. When we enter, Kino is waiting in the foyer.
Kino: “Hello Miki, long time no see.”
Miki: “Kino, why are you here?”
Kino: “I came with our father. He is in the lab with Reiji. Shall we join them?”
He holds his hand out to me, but I brush past him and go to the lab.
Miki: “Father, what do you want?”
Karlheinz: “Hello to you too, darling. I came to inform you that Kino is indeed your brother. Also, you need a check-up.”
Miki: “What about what Kino said to me? Is it true that I am to be his wife?”
Karlheinz: “Not necessarily. That answer is complicated, and you will know what I mean in due time.”
I walk over to stand by Reiji’s side.
Miki: “I don’t need a check-up. Reiji has been monitoring my condition a lot lately. I am in perfect health. I am afraid you came all this way for nothing, father.”
He lets out a dark chuckle.
Karlheinz: “I am aware of what has been going on here, my darling daughter. Nevertheless, I still need to examine you. You were not supposed to have a miscarriage. Now, Kino is here to see to it that you won’t have another.”
Miki: “How did you know about my miscarriage?”
Reiji: “I told him. He has seen all the notes I have taken since you had the miscarriage.”
I look at Reiji, glaring at him, now realizing he has basically betrayed me.
Miki: “Reiji, how could you? He doesn’t have any reason to be in my personal business.”
Karlheinz: “Miki, don’t you remember what happens when you resist?”
I freeze and glare at him.
Miki: “Fine, but Kino leaves the room. I don’t know him well enough for him to be here while you are examining me.”
Karlheinz: “Alright, Kino, wait outside the door.”
Kino: “Yes father.”
He shoots me a wink before leaving the room. I let my father do my examination while Reiji and Shu stay here to watch over me. After my examination, my father leaves and Kino won’t stop following me around.
I finally retreat to the bathroom, relaxing in the bath. Memories of Shu and I here come flooding into my mind.
I start filling the tub when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn to see it belongs to Shu.
Shu: “Miki, may I join you?”
Miki: “As if you even need to ask.”
I strip my clothes and carefully get into the bath, with Shu following suit. I lean against him, calming instantly in the hot water. Shu puts one of his earbuds in my ear, so I may listen to his music. Closing my eyes, I let the water soothe my aching muscles, while Shu holds me gently. His hands start moving along my skin, and it feels as if he is igniting a burning desire with every little touch.
Miki: "Mmm….it feels good."
?: "Glad you like it, Angel."
I am instantly broken from my thoughts and sit up, finding myself unable to because Kino's strong arms are holding me to him.
Miki: "Kino?! What are you doing?!"
Kino: "Just taking a bath with my dear Angel."
He rests his chin on my shoulder, taking in my scent. I shiver from his fingers gliding across my chest.
I push him off of me, immediately escaping the tub and covering myself with my towel while Kino chuckles behind me.
Kino: “Such a cute little sister you are.”
I glare at him.
Miki: “You’re a jerk. Stay away from me.”
I teleport to my room to get dressed. As I pull on my clothes, there is a knock at my door.
Kanato: “Miki, can I come in?”
Miki: “Yes, Kana-nii, come in.”
He opens the door and walks in with Teddy in his arms as usual.
Miki: “Hi Teddy. Hi Nii-san. What are you two doing here?”
Kanato: “Teddy and I want you to join us for a tea party.”
Miki: “I’d be happy to.”
He takes my hand and leads me to his room, where the tea party is awaiting our arrival. He leads me to my seat and holds it out for me.
Kanato: “Have a seat, Miki.”
Miki: “Thank you, Kana-nii.”
I take my seat, and he takes his on my left, placing Teddy on his left.
Miki: “What are we having tonight, Nii-san?”
Kanato: “Tonight is strawberry shortcake with chamomile tea.”
Miki: “Ooo, sounds yummy.”
I am about to pick up my fork, but Kanato slaps my hand, making me pout.
Miki: “Ah, Kana-nii, what was that for?”
Kanato: “I want to feed you, Miki.”
Miki: “Oh, okay.”
He pulls me onto his lap.
Kanato: “I also want you to sit here while I do so.”
I giggle before accepting the cake he offers me. Once we finish our cake and tea, he carries me to his bed, throwing me down and climbing on top of me.
Miki: “Wait, what about Teddy?”
Kanato: “Teddy wants to watch you make embarrassing faces and noises.”
He strips my clothes as I blush from his words and give little to no resistance, embracing him.
