Chapter Seventeen

Moana was walking through the woods with Ricca and Luce. They were just about to head back when Ricca heard something.

"Stop" She held up her hand.

"There is someone over there." She nods in the direction she heard the rustling sound.

"Come. Let's turn back right now and head home." Luce said taking Moana's arm.

"I could just be an animal and we are almost to our destination." Luce shook her head.

"Ricca is right. Someone is there and it’s no animal." The three turned around to head back when they began hearing gunfire coming their way. At first, it didn't seem to be aimed at them but they hurried their pace and was on high alert.

After a few minutes, the shots were close.

"GET DOWN!" Ricca, Luce, and Moana dove for the ground. Moana was so concerned about Ricca and Luce being pregnant and dive to the ground or worse, being shot, that she didn't pay as close attention to herself. She saw the man who was firing the shot and covered Ricca's body with her own.

They laid on the ground while the bullets flew over them. When the shots finally stop Luce raised her head.

"Ok. Let's go. Hurry." The three women ran. They were about halfway back when Moana began to slow down.

"Moana! Don't stop. We have to get back now!" Moana stops because she feels like the world spinning.

Luce and Ricca were by her side trying to help her stay on her feet. When Luce wrapped her arm around Moana, she saw the blood dripping from her body.

"Moana you have been shot! She has lost a lot of blood already. We will have to carry her back." Ricca agreed. They each grab a side and lifted her and ran for the house. As they reach the mansion, everyone there could hear Ricca and Luce yelling for help. Talan was the first to arrive for their aid.

"WHAT HAPPENED!" He shouts, trying to get some answers.

"She has been shot. It looks like one of Zeus and Orien's men. We didn't even know she had been shot. It was like she didn't know it but then all at once she went down." Talan looks at the wound.

"This isn't a gunshot wound. Turn her to her side." They turn her over and sticking out of her back was a silver arrow. Talan didn't even care that it would burn through his skin. He grabs the arrow and pulls it. His eyes went wide went he saw the liquid silver and blood pour out of his daughter.

"Hurry! we have to get this out of her."

"What is that?" Luce said when she looks.

"It's a silver arrow that splinters inside once its shot," Ricca remembers hearing about those arrows. They are made from a special silver that is rare and also banned from their realm. No wolf ever shot with it had survived. It causes too much damage and kills faster than they could treat the wound.

"We are losing her. DO SOMETHING!" But nothing works.

Rose was in between hell and heaven gates, doing some work when she felt the pain. She didn't know exactly what was wrong but she knew her mate was fighting for her life and she was losing the battle. Rose could hardly stand from the pain. It took her breath away. She did the only thing she could.

She calls for her mother Octavia. Octavia appeared, floating gracefully from the heavens gates.

"Mom something is wrong. Moana is hurt. She is dying." Octavia picks up her daughter and took her to Moana. When Octavia saw Moana's condition, She knew she was already gone. The only thing she could do was grab her soul and keep it until the damage could be repaired but it would have to be done fast.

Octavia put her hands on Moana's head and then Rose yells orders.

"Hurry, fix her wounds." Talan turns away.

"There is no use. She is gone."

"Yes she is but mom is keeping her soul here so her body can be healed. But if she holds her in between for too long, she will become a lost soul. She won't be able to find her way anywhere. SO work quickly." Talan went back to help repair the damage. It wasn't easy but with Moana's body 'dead' they could work faster and easier.

They took much longer than they expected.

"There is no more time. We have to put her back."

"But not all of the damage has been fixed." Rose nod.

"But enough has been fixed to keep her alive. He has to put her back now." Octavia put Moana's soul back and nearly fell over.

"I don't know if she will come back. I was losing her. We just have to wait and see." Octavia explained.

"Thank you for your help," Talan said. Rose then asked.

"Who did this to her?" Ricca walks over.

"We are pretty sure it was one of Zeus' followers." Rose began to fill with anger.

"ZEUS! YOU WILL DIE FOR THIS!" Octavia stops her daughter from rage.

"It's best for you to stay with her now." Rose turns her mate's body cold body and kneel. She touches her cold skin and started to sob.

"I should've been there." Rose breathe out. Ricca walks towards Rose.

"It's my fault. She was protecting me." Rose turned to look at Ricca.

"Are you hurt?" Ricca shakes her head.

"Luce and I both fine." Octavia walks towards Talan and Ardra.

"Can we have a moment?" Ardra nod and walk outside followed by Talan.

"Let me be frank. Your daughter is soulless. Rose knows it but she keeps on hoping she will be back. Before her body started to...." Octavia shakes her head. Ardra didn't even have the strength to keep her tears from flowing.

"I will ask her father to get her soul back from the abyss." Talan's eyes widen.

"Abyss?! Isn't that...." Octavia nod. Talan put his arms around his Wife.

"What's an abyss?"

"Bottomless pit in... The afterlife." Talan explained.

"My daughter is in the abyss?! Alone?!" Octavia looks down. Her eyes caught on something..... Black. Her instinct telling her it's her old love.

"Luci? Are you there?" Suddenly a man with a fiery hair appeared and his face was plastered with his signatures devilish grin.

"Rose call out for me." Talan was surprised to see him. He flinched at the sight of the ruler of the underworld.

"Let me Guess....." Satan looks around and smirks at the sight of Moana's soulless body.

"You want me to grab her soul back huh?"

"I would be doing it myself but I made a mistake." Satan laughs.

"Rookies." Octavia glare.

"Don't test me Lucifer." Satan walks towards Moana's room where his daughter is kneeling by the bed.

"I don't train you to be weak!" Satan's hand made contact to Rose's cheek. The impact was so great, Rose was flying across the room.

"That's how he taught her. He may seem evil to others, but with his method, he manages to raise her to be... Exceptional." Octavia said to the Morag's.

"She's dead." Satan looks at Moana. She lifts the covers on her wounded area.

"Heal her wound." When Satan noticed his daughter is not even paying attention, he went to her and punch her face.

"LISTEN TO ME AND LISTEN CAREFULLY! She's here, somewhere. Heal the wound and I will get her back! Trust me you will have more chores to do when I'm done with this pathetic mission you trouble me with!" Satan slaps Rose face and stand.

Rose finally get a hold of herself and went to Moana. She recites something under her breath and suddenly her right hand was in the blaze. Talan was about to stop her when Satan pushed him back.

"LUCI!" Octavia warns.

"Don't touch her while she's healing her," Satan said.

"I'm going to get that b***h back." He told Octavia. With that, he just disappeared into thin air.

"What is she doing to her?"

"Healing." She guild Ardra towards Moana. Ricca and Luce, stood there, watching.

"Can she heal her?"

"I trust my daughter." Ardra nod.

"Can we trust that bastard?" Talan asked when he's gasping for air.

"He is Satan after all. So not hundred percent....." Ardra sobbed again.

"But... I know he will do anything for his kid." Talan stands and went to his Wife.

"I'll ask some people to deliver the news to Essence," Talan said.

"Zeus and Orien... Who are these people to you?" Octavia asked her curious its.

"Zeus is a scumbag of a werewolf. He leads a gang of rogue and vampire forces with Orien. We thought they both died. But clearly their not." Octavia nod.

"They killed some of the Angels that patrol. I was investigating them as well." Talan sigh.

"They killed my Daughter. They will pay." Talan grimly said.

"First and foremost, we need to tell the queens about their action. From there, we can plan what we should do. There's no timeline for this war. And I can assure you, with them impaling King Alfred and Queen MacKenzie, they took the throne via force." A voice startled everyone.

A white hair woman was leaning at the door. Talan was ready to attack when Octavia stopped him.

"Don't. She's the great white witch. Sephora's Mother." The woman looked at everyone and her eyes landed at Moana.

"Looks like Rose trying to heal her?" Octavia nod.

"Nice to see you again Clarissa."

"Likewise." Clarissa bows a little. It's customary for them to bow at the archangel.

"May I?" Clarissa asked permission to touch Moana.

"You may," Rose said. Clarissa tied up her white hair and smiled at everyone. Like her daughter, she tries to keep calm at all times.

"Clarissa... Don't touch her yet. Rose is...." Octavia didn't get to finish when Clarissa shushed her to stop.

"Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Clarissa and Octavia looked at each other.

"Voices... He's near." Octavia pulled her golden stick and stabs the floor. The invincible shield covered them all.

"Why do we need this?"

"He just went to the abyss. Diseases, plagues, curse, everything will be vulnerable. Moana will have Rose and she will cover her with her wings." Clarissa explained.

"Let's just hope Sephora did her job and the shield is covering the whole territory. Even a slight flaw will cause a major catastrophe."

"Hold my hands." Octavia offered her hands to Ricca and Luce.

"It's better you two have extra protection. For the things, your about to see now will cause a little disturbance." Ricca and Luce nod and hold the archangel hands. Suddenly a screeching scream filled their ears.

It's almost too painful to hear. A dark portal like suddenly appeared and there, Satan trying his best to not show how angry he was. He screamed and threw a girl near Rose. Ardra knows who that is. It's her little baby girl. Talan holds her Wife toss to him and watched as the creature he thought would be impossible to meet, saving his daughter's life.

"ROSE!!!!!!!" He yells and Rose to grab a hold of Moana's soul. Rose let her wings out and covered Moana's soulless body. She started to recite something in a very weird language and they all watched as Moana's body ascending.

"My oh, my....." Clarissa breathes out.

"I know..." Octavia smiled as she proud of her Daughter.

"For this, I shall give you the blood of a hybrid!" Rose yells and bites her wrist, putting it on Moana's mouth. Slowly the blood flows making Maona's body trembling uncontrollably. When Moana's eyes shot open, her eyes change in color.

“For this I rename you... Moana Morag Hardia." Rose said and grabs Moana's body. Octavia let the shield off and went to her Daughter.

"You did good Rose." Octavia hugs her daughter side.

"She's safe now...." Octavia coos. Satan gags and disappears into the darkness.

Octavia knows he's proud of his daughter. He just doesn't want to show it. Rose took a deep breath and placed Moana's body on the bed.

"Thana wake up." Essence shakes Thana's body. Thana stirred and opened her eyes slowly.

"Thana..... I can't sleep. I want to go home. Moana...." Thana noticed Essence is restless.

"Babe... Try to sleep. My parents promise we will go home tomorrow."

"Thana I'm worried. What if she...." Thana stops her mate from finishing the sentences.

"No. I'm sure Rose will not letting that happen."

"Thana, death is something that just happens. No one can control death." Thana wiped her mate's tears.

"Sweetheart...." Thana cupped her mate's face.

"You will be surprised by how powerful Rose can be." Essence tilts her head to the side.

"What do you mean?"

"In time you will know... Now. Let's sleep. We have a Long flight tomorrow." Thana said as she yawns. Essence nod and apologize for waking her up. Essence lay down and let Thana hug her to sleep.

The trip back was okay. For Essence it's something she just wants to forget but... How can she forget that her Sister is fighting for her life?

"MOANA!!" Essence yells as she entered the Morag's mansion. The queens’ and Thana followed closely. Essence barged in Moana's room and gasped as she saw what she's not expecting at all.

"OMG ESSENCE!!!" Moana yells as she covers herself with the sheet. Rose on the hand, sitting nakedly as if nothing is happening.

"You're okay?" Essence asked.

"Obviously!!" Moana said. Thana smiled while the queens trying hard not to laugh out loud.

"Hey bitches." Rose greeted the queens.

"Hello, Rose." Kharis greets back. They were all too fond of Rose's rudeness by now. Essence started to cry and ran towards her Sister.

"I thought you're...." Essence sobs. Moana felt guilty for yelling at her at first. Moana wraps her arms around her little sister and coos her. Thana look at Rose and she nods. Rose sigh and stand, putting her clothes on. Rose kiss Moana's cheek and smile.

"I'll be back. We need to finish what we started. A lot of soldiers want to swim to your womb baby." Moana grabs the pillow and threw at her. Rose laughs and follows Thana and the queens.

"What do you bitches want?" Rose asked. Thana sighed.

"Rose. They're my mothers." Rose rolled her eyes.

"Have you done some patrol?" Rose shake her head.

"Well... Let me show you." Kora said and grabbed Rose's head. Rose yelled a little and watched as cinematic records playing on her mind. Kora lets go and slap Rose's cheek hard.

"Well damn. That's... Huge!"

"Exactly. The enemy is near. They burned yet another loyalist village." Thana added. She grabs the railings, bending it on the process.

"What should we do?" Rose looked at Kora. Kora walks towards the railing and breath out.

"Easy... We end them. Whatever it takes." Kharis and Thana nod.

"Whatever it takes," Rose smirk and nod as well.

"Whatever f*****g way." Kharis claps her hands.

"We need more manpower."

"I agree."

"How about we asked for our friends help?" Kora nod.

"Agreed." "I can ask my dad and Mom," Rose added.

"I can talk to some of the creatures I know," Thana said.

"You do that. With them taking the Kings army, ours would be like midgets to them." Kora said.

"I've sent the boys to Horus." Thana whips her head to Rose.

"What about Horus? What boys?" Rose chuckled.

"Mondo and Cyran. I've sent them to trained with the best. That is Horus."

"Did you make an offering?" Kharis asked. Rose nodded.

"Good. Now. We will talk to Talan about this. You two, go be with your mates." Kora said.

"Yea. I need to call some creatures too. We need them." Kharis added. They both walk towards the house and disappear.

"Rose... You're trying to have a kid?" Rose was surprised with Thana's question.

"Why do you asked that?" Thana chuckled.

"Because you don't even bother to wear protection." Thana gesture at Rose hardcore erection bulge. Rose laughed.

"Thana. I've been alive for so many years... Older than how many years you have a life even. And I think it's time for me to... Train someone... Blood-related perhaps to do my job when I just want to relax with my Wife." Thana's eye widen.

"Wife?!" Rose nod.

"The ritual required my blood. So... She took it. And her name is now Moana Morag Hardia. We agreed to have a little wedding after this war is over." Thana smile and claps for her friend. She knows very well Rose will not accept any hugs.

"Congratulation. I never knew you're a person who will be settling down."

"Trust me. My mother is one person who said the same thing as you did." Thana chuckle.

"How about you and Essence?"

"Still a virgin." Rose laughs and smacks Thana's shoulder.

"Can't you just stick it inside her?" Thana shakes her head.

"She's not at the age yet. And you have no idea how crazy it can be when it's in heat."

"Oh, I know. Maybe when we focus on killing these bastards we both can stop thinking about sex."

"Is the bunker ready?" Rose nod.

"It's ready but I added some... Specific request." Thana looked at her friend.

"What request?" Rose smirked.

"You'll see."

Suddenly, poleaxes appeared out of nowhere and nearly decapitate Thana's head.

"WHAT THE f**k!!" Thana yells and they both heard a very familiar laughed.

"AURELIA?!" Aurelia laughs uncontrollably and wipes her tears of joy.

"You should've have seen your face!!!"

"Anyway! Welcome back. I'm ready to serve your highnesses. As well as Dominika and Sephora. But Sephora is with her Mother meeting the queens at the Morag's. Dominika too."

"Why are you here?" Rose asked. Aurelia rolls her eyes.

"Well, Moana asked for your body. So please go there and ease the arousal scent." Rose laugh and walk towards her Mate.

"Essence would like to meet you at her chamber. Also..." Aurelia handed her a packet of... Condom.

"The queens’ reminds me to give you." Thana looks at the green packet and sigh. She took it and keep it inside her pocket. Aurelia bows and leave Thana alone.

Thana looks at the scenery and took a deep breath.

"I'm not sure if I can wait till birthday." She said mentally and sigh.
