Nathalie POV
“Don’t do this please..” He sighed at me.
“Why? Why don’t you want me?..” I cried out in a low tone feeling the tears built up. He didn’t answer me, but I saw how his whole posture changed, his hands tightened against the steering wheel and his jaw was all tensed. I turned to stare out the window not wanting him to see me like this. This night had been magical and now what? All ruined because of this? How stupid had I been thinking to tell him those three little words tonight. Too good to be true.
The car pulled to a stop, and he got out returning to my side. He opened the door for me, and I jumped out before he managed to reach me. We were in front of his house. Or more like his big mansion. I had never been inside, but I just started walking up the big white marble stairs leading to the front door. I felt a tight grip on my wrist pulling me to a stop before I reached the door as he turned me around and pushed me against it.
“What now?!” I hissed at him starring directly into his beautiful eyes, only inches from mine, as he had positioned me between his hands pinned above my head leaning into me.
“You don’t want me to meet your family either?! Then why did you bring me here?!” I asked
He crashed his lips down on mine making me gasp at the unexpected move, giving him access to every part of me just as he pulled away staring into my eyes.
“Stop talking.” He sighed with desperation and frustration seething off his voice.
“Please just stop. Stop saying stuff like that. There’s nothing more I would like than for you to meet my family, and you will! Tomorrow when it’s not 2 am in the night and everyone is asleep… and about the other thing… I want that more than I want anything else. In fact, I need it and crave it like I need air to breath. I crave you every second of the day, for god sake Nathalie, is it really that hard for you to see?!” He asked in a frustrated tone and continued “If it all weren’t so god damn complicated it would have happened already, okay?!”
“Then uncomplicate it” I whispered
“I can’t!” he almost hissed at me. “I want your first time to be special, I love you too much to just waste it, so it can’t be like this, not before you are ready, not before you know everything.”
I didn’t listen much to the rest after I heard the three small words come out of his mouth. He loved me. He just told me he loved me. I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to fall this quick, I thought I was just being the crazy one. I realized I stood frozen against the wall as he was looking concerned down at me.
“I… I love you too...” I stammered out “…and I am ready, I want to know everything” I said without even knowing what on earth he was talking about. He could be a serial killer and I wouldn’t care. Or maybe I would. I didn’t know right now. I just knew that I loved him, and he loved me.
“You sure?” He asked as fear and distress replaced the look of concern on his face. I wanted so badly to remove those feelings from his beautiful face, so I reached up and cupped his face in my palms as I nodded, then he lifted me up and started running towards the woods not stopping before he sat me down on a big rock in a clearing in the forest with the moonlight glistening in the river running just beside the stone I sat on. He took some steps away from me starting to strip down out of his clothes. What was it that I needed to know? Was there something wrong with his body? Didn’t he have a third member between his legs? Had he kept from me that he was secretly a professional stripper?
“Did you take me here just to put on a good show” I burst out.
“I wish” he said with a sad smirk spilling on his lips.
“Please just promise me not to leave me.” He said.
I couldn’t do anything but nod at the man standing in front of me in nothing but underwear. He was mesmerizing, I had never seen any man this beautiful and perfectly sculpted. Then he stripped out of his boxers, and I was left breathless, but interrupting the scene I started to hear pops and cracks getting louder as his beautiful body moved in ways I had never seen before. Ways which couldn’t be good. I watched as what looked like every bone in his body breaking.
I was shocked and then before I could blink or move the once beautiful man before me was gone and instead a very big wolf had taken his place. It was so big, and I had never seen anything like it before.
This big creature before me had the most voluminous black fur which looked majestic. Not just majestic. Everything within me screamed for me to get up off the stone and run for my life but I couldn’t. I was frozen in place, and deep within me I didn’t know if I was scared, terrified or in shock. This creature no matter how majestic could rip me into shreds and I could do nothing about it.
My head couldn’t wrap my mind around what had just happened before my eyes and then the wolf started to move slowly towards me like creasing in on a pray and I stumbled back on my hands still sitting. It stopped its movements as it saw my reaction and I saw the hurt in its eyes.
Then I recognized them. Those deep golden-brown eyes couldn’t belong to anyone else. The big wolf in front of me was no one else but Alexander. And even though I had witnessed it all it was as if I hadn’t realized what had just happened until then. It was all too much to take in and I felt my body crumble beneath me. As I slowly drifted away. I watched as the wolf turned back into a man before it all went dark, and I felt a tight grip lifting me up off the ground.
