Meanwhile in the forest
" Did you hear that?" Andre asked."Hear what?, I didn't hear anything " she replied. "We need to go, something is not right" taking her hand in mine we ran towards the hut. The scene in front of us sent shivers down our spine. A view of an unknown man driving a dagger in the nanny's chest. " Nooo!!!" Emilie shouted. Turning towards the source of the voice he smiled.
" There you are, I have been searching for you everywhere, it's been twenty years now." The man in black coat said, swinging the bloody dagger, " You were but a little cub then but you have grown more beautiful. You look exactly like your father" his voice grew cold. "Who are you?" Andre asked, already mind linking his right hand man, Andrew to his location. "It's better you stay out of this little wolf. You won't want to drag your pack into this, prince".
"Wolf" disbelief spread across Emilie's face. I drew her close to me "I will explain everything later but trust me I won't hurt you" I said, nodding her head as a sign of approval. I faced the black coated man, " if you can't say who you are I will find out myself" the sound of bones cracking and twisting as i changed to my wolf, I launched forward attacking with a blow but he dodged effortlessly. "Is that all you got, I was expecting something special, haaaaaa, you can do better" sounding sarcastically. I launch forward again but this time attacking with all my strength leaving no room for him to rest. " You are doing better than before but I'm getting tired " he said, attacking me forcing me back before I could fight back I was sent flying into the woods.
" Now that we are alone, how about we talk?" he said, facing Emillie with a cold smile. Seeing his cold smile, Emillie realized how dangerous he was. Her feet pounded the damp earth, breaths coming in ragged gasps as she fled through the dark forest. Branches snapped behind her, leaves crunching beneath her feet. She darted between trees, her heart racing like a wild animal.
Suddenly, she stumbled, her foot catching on a hidden root. She fell hard, palms scraping against rough bark. Scrambling up, she kept running, fear lending her speed.
The trees blurred together, their branches like skeletal fingers reaching out to snatch her. She pumped her arms, lungs burning, and didn't dare look back." You can't run away from me" his voice echoing in the forest.
As Emilie ran through the forest, the black coated man's footsteps closed in behind her. "You can't escape me, little one," he taunted, his voice dripping with amusement.
Emilie darted between trees, her heart racing. She knew she couldn't outrun Dermis forever. Suddenly, he lunged forward, grabbing her arm and spinning her around. "Gotcha," he said, his grip like a vice.Emilie's eyes flashed with fear as she struggled against his hold. "Let me go!" she demanded, trying to pry his fingers loose.
He sneered, his eyes glinting with triumph. "You're coming with me, whether you like it or not, I can't wait to see the looks on your father's face."
