Chapter 6

Austin's POV

I carried her to the truck and raced back to the house with everyone following. I pull up to the house and jump out and lift her into my arms and carry her inside. She was quiet and I sighed. A few minutes everyone filed in and a tall lean man walks up to her and kneels in front of her.

"Hey baby." He says softly

She opens her arms and he chuckles and lifts her and sits down placing her in his lap. She snuggles in and relaxes.

"Thank you" She mumbles

He kisses her forehead and dad walks in and sighs.

"Hey little demon. Drink?" Poison asks her

She nods and he brings out a bottle and pops the cork. He hands her the bottle and she tips it back guzzling it down. She hands it back and wipes her mouth. Wolf was pacing and she reached out snagging his wrist. He freezes and looks down at her with worry.

"Sit down. Your pacing is overstimulating my brain" She commands

His eyes widen and he sits by Liam and she places her feet in his lap.

"Talk" I command

"no" She says shaking her head

My eyes widen cause she has never told me no before.

"Little bear" Bear says

"No. It's my life. I don't want to." She says

She stands and stretches and walks over to my dad.

"We got to talk Daddy M" She says softly

He offers her his arm and she links hers through his and he leads her away to his office. I drop down into a chair and sigh.

"Is she ok?" Nick asks

"No she isn't. But she can be" Wolf says

"You two?" Nick asks

"Baby steps. Building trust is a must. She is scared of all men" Poison says

"But she is good with you" I say nodding at Liam

"I'm gay. It's easier with me. She knows her limits. She knows I will never push. She clicked with me. she is my shadow. When she wants snuggles she comes to me when she wants to feel normal. She accepts me for me. NO questions, no judgement." Liam explains

"She knew you were gay before you told her" Bear says

"They day she stitched me up. She was careful. She was herself. She knows she can loose her mind with me and I will let her. Yall are overprotective. I get it and so am I but I let her have her moment. When she calms down she will realize she over did it and apologize. You have to let her lose her s**t. she has been closed off for so long she's scared you will be mad at her for being mad." Liam says

Dad walks in and I can see anger radiating off him.

"Where is she?" I ask

"Gym. Can you not feel the bass thumping?" He asks raising a brow

I stop and pause. I chuckle and stand.

"Watch this" I tell them

I change into some sweats and a tank and head to the gym. When I walk in she was already moving. One of her favorites was playing so everyone filed in and stood against the wall. I snuck up behind her and pulled my shirt off and grabbed her waist and moved with her. We went at it hard and after several songs we dropped to the floor panting. I was pouring sweat and so was she.

"Better?" I ask panting

She shakes her head and stands and goes over turning on the tred mill and starts running. I watch her and tilt my head looking at her. I give a loud whistle and I see a ghost smile on her lips.

"Caspian" She yells

I hear the thunder of feet and the monster of a dog runs in. He sits by her tred mill and doesn't move til she is done. When she steps off she bends down kissing his huge nose.

"Hey bubba. How is my buddy?" She says sweetly

"Getting old. Big guy just had to go to the vet" I tell her

Her eyes widen and her bottom lip trembles.

"Woah babe. He's fine. Just pinched a nerve. I promise he's fine" I tell her

A song comes on and I giggles. She raises a brow at me and I sigh.

"Really? Still gonna make me sing it?" I ask her

"It's my favorite. It's how you got my attention. It's how you taught me how to play guitar" She says shrugging

"First song you ever learned. Now you can play everything" I say

Another song starts and she opens her mouth and she lets the lyric flow. When it ends she smiles. A Justin Beiber song comes on and she grins. I hear groans and she giggles.

"My teenage heart still loves him." She smiles

"We got to head back baby" Poison tells her

"Alright. Daddy M, call me. And you boys don't be strangers. I've missed you guys" She tells us

she hugs everyone and then moves me.

"Love you" She says

"Love you Mi Amore" I say kissing her forehead

Annalise's POV

I pull away and walk out without looking back. When we pull up to the clubhouse I slide out and walk inside and head for my room. I walk in and l lock the door. I didn't want to be bothered tonight. I showered and crawled in bed and passed right out. When I roll out of bed the next morning I walk down and it was quiet. I sighed and got to work on breakfast. I turned on music and got started.

"Ahh I knew I heard the music on" I hear behind me

"Morning little demon" Poison says kissing my temple as he passes me

I hum and flip the bacon. Everyone starts filing in and slim arms wrap around my waist.

"Morning Nat" I say softly

"Morning sunshine. Can I help?" She asks

"Start on some more pancakes" I say

She hums and gets to work. I check the biscuits and start the gravy. By time I'm done the brothers are all walking in. I fix my plate and take a seat. A mug is placed in front of me and I lift it and take a sip and hum happily. I dig in to my food and I start dancing in my seat.

"The attitude is leaving her body" I hear Liam say

I flip him off and he chuckles.

"Hey little darling it's done" Snake says

My head snaps up and he grins and winks at me.

"For real?" I say in shock

"Yup. Eat up and we will go look" He says

I finish eating and sigh sitting back. I finish off my hot tea and pout.

"Got more in your thermos baby." Liam says

I grin and stand and head to change clothes and I come back and the boys and Natalie were waiting on me.

"Can I come" Lexie asks

"Of course" I say

We walk out the back door and a side by side was waiting on me. Snake tossing me the keys and I slide on with Lexie and Natalie. the guys jump in theirs and I take off.

"Wanna scare em?" I ask

"Are you sure?" Natalie asks

"Do you trust me?" I ask

"Of course" Lex says

We get close to my cabin and I sling us sideways getting up on two wheels. The girls squeal and I laugh and lower us back down and pull up to the house. When I get out I was being glared at.

"Get over it" I say

I walk up the stairs and I don't see a normal door knob. Snake takes my hand and places it on a panel and I hear a beep and a click and the door unlocks and he pushes it open.

"I'll go over all the tech stuff later" I hear

"Ready?" Snake asks

I nod and he waves me in and when I step in a light turns on and I gasp. There is a huge floor to ceiling glass wall and it overlooks the lake. I walk in the kitchen and gasp.

"All high tech. I've everything replaced in the clubhouse as well" Snake tells me

I walk down a hall to a find a bathroom and laundry room. There was also a guest room and a mud room. I come back and go upstairs to find two more rooms and the master bedroom. It was beautiful. It had a massive walk in closet and it's own master bath. When I come back downstairs Snake looks at me.

"Well?" He asks

"It's perfect." I tell him

"I'm glad you like it little darling" He says

"I say I break in my first night with a sleepover" I say

The boys perk up and Natalie and Lexie squeals.

"She was talking to us" Nat says

"We got shopping to do first. Lunch and dinner is on yall tonight." I say

"The other key that's on that set of keys is to your new fully loaded baby" Snake says walking out

I run out and my jaw drops. I squeal and launch myself off the porch at him. He catches me easily and chuckles.

"Your welcome little darling" Snake tells me

I jump down and run over unlocking it and climbing in. I crank it and it rumbles to life. All the inside lights come to life and my jaw drops. Everything was decked out in purple. I rev the engine and it roars and I grin. I roll down the windows and connect my phone and turn on some music and the bass hits hard. I shut my door and slide my seat belt on and laugh.

"We here" I call

I put it in reverse and stomp on the gas and pull back and swing myself around and race down the paved driveway and grin. I circle the clubhouse and head back pressing down on the gas hard. When I get close enough I yank the wheel and drift around the circle when I would park. When I come to a stop I jump out grinning. The girls we cheering and the boys stood there with their jaws dropped.

"Let's go girls." I call

"Hold on" Bear commands

I freeze and look up at him.

"I'll be careful" I whine

He rolls his eyes and comes over handing me my thermos.

"have fun little bear. Bye baby bear" He says and kisses Nat

Lex crawls in the backseat and Nat gets in the front. I slide in and before I could shut my door a hand catches it.

"Be safe" Wolf growls

I offer him my cheek and he kisses it and Poison move in kissing my forehead. Liam kisses my temple and I laugh.

"See ya later" They all say

Liam closes my door and I turn on the music and rev it a little and they all shake their heads. I giggle and put it drive and tap the gas and Wolf growls.

"Don't you dare" He shouts

I step on the gas and we take off and Natalie laughs loudly. We pull onto the main road and I head for the town over so we can go to the big mall. When we arrive we all climb out and head in laughing. I got some stuff I wanted for the house and wince knowing it won't fit in the car. I pull out my phone and call Poison.

"Hey baby, What's up?" He asks

"Um could you head to the big mall. I bought some stuff that won't fit in the car" I say softly

"turn around" He says

I spin around and he stands there smirking with Liam.

"How?" I say ending the call

"We knew you would buy some stuff that wouldn't fit so I drove the big truck over." He says shrugging

"Here babe" Natalie says handing me a massive cup

I take a drink and moan.

"Best thing ever" I say

We head into Home Goods and I find bar stools I want and a new bed set. I even get new bedding for the other rooms. A few hours later we were done and headed back to the house. I pull up and the boys unload everything and I get busy throwing things into the laundry and get everything put where I want it.

"Hey babe if I go to the store will you cook?" Nat asks softly

"Of course. What you wanting?" I ask her

"That garlic butter steak you made last week" She says licking her lips

I giggle and nod.

"Sure. I'll make a list" I tell her

I get to making it and even add wine.

"Here babe." I say and hand my card over

"Bear is paying tonight." She says

I nod and toss my keys at her. Her eyes widen and I give her a stern look.

"I'll be careful" She says

I nod and her and Lexie leave for the store. I get to work opening all the new dishes and washing everything up. I turn on my music and smile when it plays through the speakers in the ceilings. My phone rings and it was a face time call so I answer it. The boys were rocking out. I grin bob my head along. The song switches and I laugh as the camera pans over Austin. They still use my high school heart strings songs to warm up and I throw my head back laughing. The phone slips around and Austin winks at me and I grin at him. Arms wrap around my waist and Austin's gaze hardens and I glare. I hang up and sigh. I turn on the song they were playing and go back to my dishes. I sing along to the music and I catch myself drumming my hands on the counter top and I sigh and shake my arms out.

"What?" Liam asks

"I haven't played the drums in years so I guess im itching for it" I say

"You can play the drums?" Braydon asks

"My brother was in the band. I dated his best friend who is the lead singer. What do you think? I can play every instrument they use. They loved teaching me and watching me rock it." I tell him

"Do you miss it?" Braydon asks

"I do. My teenage years were amazing. But as soon as I turned eighteen I was married. My adult years haven't been good. I'm almost thirty and things scare me even more now." I say shrugging

My phone rings and it's Austin. I hit the ignore button and Natalie walks through the door carrying bags.

"More outside" She says

Liam walks outside and Lexie walks in with some. They place them down and I get to work.

"Alright we are headed back" Braydon says

Liam kisses my cheek and Braydon kisses my forehead. They leave and Lex and Natalie eye me.

"What?" I ask

"Austin?" Natalie says taking a seat at the bar

"He was my high school sweetheart. He's Italian. Masimo is the Italian Mafia Don. He is hardly here. Austin was a oops. He met his dad but wanted to stay with his mom here in the states. He has a good relationship with his dad. I only know who he is cause Austin took me to Italy for my graduation present. I stumbled into a meeting I was never suppose to see. Masimo sat me down and explained. It didn't scare me. I was intrigued if anything." I tell them

"How come you didn't call Masimo?" Natalie asks

"When I married Austin hated me. I didn't know if it was ok to call him or not. I was scared." I say shrugging

"Have you told him?" Natalie asks

"I did. He is going to help me" I tell her

"What happened?" She asks

"I was married young. My husband was not nice to me ever. He hated me with a passion. He was abusive as you can imagine." I tell them

My back was to them as I cook and they were silent.

"Did he force you?" Lex asks

"he did. It's why baby steps" I say

Arms wrap around me and I smile.

"You aren't alone. I wasn't this badass when Bear found me. I was raped, bloody, broken and pregnant." Natalie says

"Pregnant?" I ask

"I was. I couldn't. Bear booked me the appointment. Held my hand through it all" She tells me

"I don't want kids" I whisper

Her eyes widen and I smile softly.

" I love kids. I just don't want my own. So many don't have homes. I'd rather adopt ya know" I tell her

"I understand. That sounds nice actually." She says

She pulls out her phone and sends a text. Ten minutes later a knock sounds on the door and she goes over opening the door and there stands Bear.

"Really?" he asks

"How do you feel about adopting? So many need loving homes" She asks

""Alright. Wanna start older" He asks

"Yeah. Is that ok?" She asks nervously

"Of course it is baby bear." He tells her

He scoops her up and I smile softly. Lex leans into my side and I lay my head on her shoulder.

"I want that" she whispers

"So make it happen babe." I tell her

"I like Snake but I don't think he likes me. I'm a stripper" She says shrugging

"So?" I say

"They all think we are whores." She says sadly

"Lex do you sleep with random men or for money?" I ask

"No" She say quickly

"I just wanted to go back to school and this was fast money" She tells me shrugging

"School for?" I ask

"Dance teacher" She says

"And you think he judges you?" I ask

"yeah" She says sadly

I turn off the stove and slide the steaks in the oven and grab her hand. I grab my keys and put her in the side by side and we go to the clubhouse. I drag her in and everyone stares wide eyed as I stomp inside.

"Turn it off" I shout

Once it gets quiet everyone gets super quiet.

"Trigger what do you see when you look at Lex?" I ask pulling her in front of me

"A woman" He says

"Wheeler?" I ask

"Again a woman" He says

"Does her being a stripper make her w***e?" I snarl

"What? of course not. You make good money. Nothing wrong with that" Hustler says

"Would her being a stripper stop any of you from dating her?" I ask

"no. Your not a club whore." Snake says

"She is busting her ass to go to school. What you fuckers say takes a toll on the good ones mental health." I snap

"Lex" Snake says in shock

"Mhmm" she hums

"We are sorry. We will watch what we say" he tells her

"By the way she likes you dumbass" I say

I walk away towards the office and push it open to find Wolf on the phone. He glares and growls til he sees it's me.

"What is it Firefly?" He asks

"I just pushed Lex off onto Snake." I tell him

"Call you back. So she likes Snake?" he asks

"She does. But she was scared cause she's a stripper and you fuckers don't watch what you say in front of the girls" I tell him

"Ahh I'll be more mindful from now on. Lex is a good one" He says

"She is. I like her" I tell him

"I assumed you would. Dancing is something you both do well" He tells me

"It's good exercise and it's what kept me from dying" I say

"come on b***h I'm hungry" Lex calls out

"coming" I call back

"Text you later" I tell wolf

I walk out the door when suddenly my arm is grabbed and I'm spun around. I gasp and look up at him.

"Sorry didn't mean to scare you" He tells me

"You didn't. It surprised me." I tell him

"Can I take you somewhere tomorrow?" He asks

"Are you asking me on a date?" I ask softly

"Yeah I guess I am" He says

His cheeks redden a bit and I smile.

"Sure" I say nodding

"Jeans." He tells me

"Is it possible to take the SUV? My cramps are starting" I tell him

"Of course. I don't always have to be on my bike" He says chuckling

"Alright. What time?" I ask

"ten wait make it noon. I know yall have wine" He says smirking

"Noon works" I say nodding

He releases me and steps back and I follow him and crook my finger at him. He bends down and I kiss him softly. He doesn't move and for that i'm grateful. I pull back and he kisses my forehead and I head off to find Lex. Once we got back to my place I finished dinner and we laughed our way through three bottles of wine. Before long we were passed out in my huge bed. When I stumbles out of bed the next morning I was not ready for the day so I thought some medicine and started on breakfast. I turned on music and soon the girls came in and we all ate when a knock sounded on the front door. Natalie walked over letting Wolf in. He chuckles seeing us all and I glare.

"to much wine Firefly?" He asks

"Three almost four bottles" I mumbles

"Damn. Did yall have fun though?" He asks

"We did." I say

I clean the kitchen and then I go shower and get dressed for the day. When I come back down Wolf leads me to the SUV and we take off. He drives for about two hours and we pull up to a fair ground. When I look around he he looks at me watching for my reaction.

"You brought me to the state fair?" I ask in shock

"You said you had never been" He says shrugging

I grin and he takes my hand and leads me to get our wrist bands.

"What first?" He asks

I lead him over to a ride and the day goes on from there. By time night falls we ride the Ferris wheel to end the night and we head for the parking lot. I must have fallen asleep on the way back cause I wake to him lifting me from the front seat. It's quiet when we enter the clubhouse and I shiver at the cold air.

"You can stay here tonight" I hear whispered

"come on darling let's get you comfy" Liam tells me

Wolf hands me over and Liam walks off with me and that's the last thing I remember.
