A WORTHY VISIT
Liz’s eyes flicked back and forth into the rear-view mirror, her hands grasping the steering wheel tightly while her chest felt like it was squeezing the life out of her. She had to make sure Domenic wasn’t following her.
Gabriella and her mother lived in Coburg, and she knew that Gabriella would understand the reason for her visit. As soon as she turned into the street, her heart thudded loudly. She might have a lead here, one to divulge to Marco. Not that he’d be happy that she did her own investigating, but she had to do something. She was going nuts.
