Matthew demanded. “Tell me you found the damn car.” He sat in an interview room at the police station, his arms resting against the tabletop.
Marco shook his head. “Sorry, mate. Not yet, but the team’s still working on it. Tell us exactly what happened.”
Matthew recounted the incident with confidence in his voice. “I know it was Domenic because of his tattoo. Why isn’t he down here?”
“Listen, Domenic’s missing right now. But in the meantime, keep yourself safe. Don’t go doing anything. Let us handle it.”
