CHAPTER 26 HALLUCINATION Liz walked around the venue where Bella and Marco held their engagement a week later, savouring the space that had a New York style feel to it. A white curtain that had been parted to maximise space hung down. White leather footstools surrounded the dimly-lit function room that emitted its own light with an array of scented candles placed on mahogany timber tables. Timber stands centred the room, and white padded leather seating ensured comfort for the one hundred and twenty guests that had been invited. The brick wall and brown plush carpeted flooring ensured that no-one tripped on a slippery floor.
