Chapter Three - Longing for his touch

1837 Words
Blessed Luna? The Leader of the Alpha Pack stared intensely at his mate. When he had first watched her wandering lost in the forest, and had felt the subtle signs of the mate bond between them, he had been disappointed that the Moon Goddess had chosen her for him, of all people. And when he found out she was a mute, it only made his feelings worse. The only thing that seems to enthrall him about her was everything else. Her Forest green eyes, filled with life and bubbling with unshed tears and untold pain, and her lips that she always seem to bite without knowing...a habit she does when she's unsure. As he stood before her right now, her aura had changed. Her sandy colored hair had changed into the rays of silver itself, but luckily, her stunning eyes remained the same. So, his mate was the Blessed Luna. Subtly, he glanced at the crowd whom were still staring. They were all still confused as to how she had been chosen when she isn't a Luna, and even though he himself was delegating it in his head, he couldn't miss this opportunity. In a single breath, his wolf also emerged, tearing his clothes into the shred. His mate gasped softly, gazing at him. Her eyes were still busy taking in every inch of him when the mate bond came alive between them. And then, it was as if the whole world had vanished leaving just the both of them. They bathed at each other's everything, staring lovingly into one another's eyes like they had found what was missing in their lives. Both wolves step forward and rubbed against each other, purring with warmth. But everything halted when the Alpha suddenly sunk his claws deep into her neck. Ella's body shuddered under the painful motion, but the pain was quickly replaced with a pleasurable thrill that ran down her spine. He pulled away from her, changing back to his Human form. His eyes left hers, and they focused on the crowd that had finally stirred. Everything was about to turn chaotic. "Hezekiah!" Alpha Alexander of the west exclaimed, looking like he had just snapped. He was the same Alpha whom Ella had ignored on the rocks. The rest of the Alphas also gave Hezekiah of the Alpha Pack angered looks. They all hated him, not just because of the reputation of his Pack... but what he had just done right now. "What?" Zeke retorted, his dark eyes neutral again with emotions, "If I hadn't marked her, one of you would have. I mean, why blame me when any of you would have done the same?" Alex snarled, ready to jump over and tear Zeke into shreds when he sensed the raging bloodlust behind him. He quickly changed his course of attack and jumped on the Alpha who had meant to kill him just now, growling as he ripped his hands into the Alpha's neck and pulled out his whole head. Blood splashed over the faces of those close by, and everything went south from there on. Everyone started to attack one another, and Hezekiah turned back to his mate whom was still recovering from her mark, and had changed back to her human form. It was much more effective since he had marked her in wolf form, plus the fact that her body was still undergoing some changes...she was taking longer to recover. In a flash, he had thrown her over his shoulders and took off. The confluence was never bound to remain a neutral ground for a long time. Zeke's grandfather had told him the sacred story before he died, about how the werewolf world usually turns into a war front with the arrival of the Blessed Luna. Everyone was greedy. They would do anything to get her to their side, in order to take control of the rest. Zeke just happened to get lucky that the Moon Goddess already destined her as his mate. Ella groaned, wriggling uncomfortably as she twisted and turned. Hezekiah couldn't stop moving now - there were at least three Alphas on their tail and he was trying to loose them. "Stay put, woman!" He employed more strength and kept her pressed over his shoulders, "Or you'll end up in a far worse place than the Alpha Pack!" Ella fought hard against him, but he was too strong. Too... strong? It didn't make sense. The Blessed Luna is supposed to have tremendous strength, right? Does it still not rival the strength of an Alpha? Or...was this Alpha just different than the rest? "Where are you taking me?" She demanded, but his scent was making her lose focus. Infact, the warmth of their bodies was making them both lose focus. "Just remain silent for now. I promise you, I will take you somewhere safe and you will not regret it," Maybe it was the mate bond, but the assurance of his words made her calm down. Her heart trusted him blindly, and she stopped struggling against him and settled to breathe in his scent over and over again instead. Being with her mate... wasn't so bad, right? He won't harm her in any way. He has marked her. "I need a favour from you," He said again. "Favor? What is it?" "Will you close your eyes and hold unto me?" He asked softly. "What?" Ella swallowed. Swiftly, He pulled her off his shoulders and cradled her against his chest instead. The new position took Ella's breath away, her eyes broadening as she stared at his nice chest...all the way to the Adam's apple of his neck. My...oh my. So this was what it feels like to be irrefutably mated to someone. "Stop admiring my body and focus, little wolf!" Her cheeks burned from embarrassment, but she quickly wrapped her hand around his neck and held on tightly. Her eyes fell close, and she sighed in contentment. The wind picked up around them, and Ella got the feeling that they were moving at the speed of sound or something. Can Werewolves move that fast? Definitely not. She wanted to open her eyes and confirm, but she needed to trust her mate. The next time Ella opened her eyes, she saw herself inside a cave. . . . Alexander had given him quite the chase, but Zeke had finally gotten rid of them. He stood right outside the cave, hidden by the bushes surrounding them. The night was still long, and the Full Moon still washed it's silver rays over the forest. For now, He and his mate would rendezvous here till the next morning when things would have calmed down. Speaking of his mate, Zeke turned around and caught her staring at him, but she looked away the second he caught her eye. Clearing her throat, she put up a brave face and asked, *What are we doing here?* "I'm taking a break. You saw what happened back at the confluence, didn't you?" Her eyes fell, and she nodded softly, then asked again, *But why were they trying to kill each other? It suddenly turned into a bloodbath* "Because of the Blessed Luna, of course. Having you is the biggest asset to one's pack. They're willing to do anything to have you, but I'm not letting anyone have my mate. You're mine...and mine alone!" He almost growled, possession gripping him hard. Ella swallowed, curling her toes. No one has ever... *You're...* She paused her fingers, wondering if she should ask, *You're not going to reject me, are you?* His brows creased, *That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard* Zeke replied, then he sat down and leaned his back on the cold walls. Ella sat down opposite him. The cave wasn't very wide, and she sat a bit close so their legs brushed. Her neck still ached from the bite, and she was still weak from everything, including the mysterious spark that went through her after the Moon Goddess had declared her the Blessed Luna. The night air was cold against her skin, and Ella sought out for warmth, hugging herself as she did. When her palm touched her bare shoulders, she paused and looked down at herself. Naked. Her throat went dry, and she froze. Ever since she changed back to human form, she had been naked. The heat from her wolf had offered her warmth for a while, and with everything that was going on...the last thing on her mind had been whether she was dressed or not. Her cheeks burned again, and she swallowed tightly. She fought to not look up at him, fearing he would hear her thoughts. Even the mate bond wasn't helping, tugging badly at them to seal the deal right now by mating. Ella had never been with a man before. The closest she's gotten to intimacy was when she and Eric had shared a moment years ago and kissed under the stars... She had kept herself for the right man and time, thinking it would be Eric and keeping her mind occupied with her fantasy romance novels. But the rejection from Eric had broken her, and what's worse? No other man in the Pack wanted her anymore. Eric had basically ruin her life. But right now, she had the chance to actually feel... something. To feel... someone. She burned with the need to touch her mate, to be touched and loved by her mate. Her defenses fell to the ground, and she looked up at him. He was just as naked as her, and those ripping muscles and perfect body made her clench her hands. She imagined them moving expertly over her, pressed against her skin... rubbing against every inch of her. Ella's heartbeat sped up as her eyes fell below his navel, and she swallowed tightly. He was big and beautiful, hard especially. Moisture ran down between her legs, and she marvelled at how good it would feel when he closes the distance between them and slid inside of her. Why on earth wasn't he making any move? If he wasn't going to do anything, being in the same room wasn't exactly the best idea. Her eyes trailed back to his chest, and she swallowed a mouthful of saliva again. How can someone be so beautiful? It wasn't fair. Then, she looked up to his face. It was strong and defined with a subtle angularity that added to his overall sense of muscularity, and he had the most chiseled and sharpest jawline she had ever seen. She eyed his full and sensual lips, dying to know how it would feel against hers. If not for that Dark aura surrounding him all the time, he probably had tons of people swooning over him at all times. Ella couldn't deny that she was wet. She was so wet her arousal must have filled the cave, but he still refused to make a move and kept his eyes closed. Wait, who said women cannot make the first move?
