Chapter 25
Savannah was led to a small hut at the edge of the camp. She'd been leaving clues for a rescue crew along the way leading to their location. Luckily no one had noticed what she was doing. They were too busy celebrating their victory to really notice her. Akachi led the group to their camp. She stumbled when she saw it. It looked nothing like she imagined.
Large huts covered in tree leaves to blend in with its surroundings. The camp was not widespread but the buildings were pressed closely together to create its own barrier wall. It had a large gate that was manned by two guards. Soldiers were stationed in the trees above them guarding the camp. Escape would be difficult if not impossible. Where had they pulled the resources to do this? Most of the soldiers were simple farmers
