As soon as the Wanderer caught them in its fields Jess set the ship moving. The Wanderer had already cut a deep hole through Sanctuary, now he wanted it to go deeper. The Wanderer pulled them to safety then started blasting away at everything in its way, clearing itself a path deeper into Sanctuary. Jess monitored it closely, urging it on.
Around them Sanctuary was disintegrating. Sections were being ripped away as jump space collapsed. In other locations Sanctuary was just ripping itself apart. Where the Wanderer went, blasting its way through, those problems were exacerbated.
