The Alpha King and His Mate

Bang! Bang! Bang! I get startled awake by a banging on my bedroom door. "Nikki! you get up this instant and come to my office so we can talk!" My father yelled through the door. I sigh and drag myself out of bed knowing what he was going to talk to me about. I sulked my way to his office still really tired since I was up all night. My wolf Chase has been circling in my head and whining at me since yesterday and I don't know why? I knock on the door lightly. "Come in!" my father says in his booming voice. I open the door and slide in quickly not wanting to keep him waiting any longer. I sat down in one of his chairs facing his desk. "So, son would you like to explain why the girl you were out on a date with came into my office crying this morning?" I shrug "I don't know father all I told her is I wasn't interested in a petty glamazon" "YOU WHAT!!!!" he screamed. I scoot back in my chair as I feel all his anger rolling off of him. He is my father but also the Alpha of the White Moon pack we aren't the strongest pack but, we aren't the weakest. I sigh as I think to myself that they don't understand me at all. They've never seen my wolf either since I shifted at 13 and I found myself wolf Chase to be all silver and huge bigger than my father and I'm not sure why. "Nikki, I need you to understand that it doesn't look good as the alpha's second son to not have a mate. If you can't find her soon you will have to take a chosen mate." he looks at me sternly. My eyes widen "Father you can't do that to me it isn't fair and isn't right." "You will do as I say son I may be your father but I am also your alpha and you will listen to me." I grumble "Yes Alpha." "Good, now go help your mother get ready. We have a very important guest coming tonight and I want this place looking good." I sigh and get up leaving his office to go look for my mother. "Nikko, something is going to happen I can feel it" says Chase "I doubt it father is so uptight about this guest he hasn't even bothered to tell me who it is." "I'm not sure, just keep your guard up" he says as he goes to the back of my mind. I find my mom and kiss her on the cheek "Anything I can do to help ma?" She looks up at me "Hi sweety and yes actually can you run to the store and grab me a couple of things. The list is on the counter with the card." "Okay, mom I'll be back." I grab the list and the keys to my mustang and head out. I have to drive a good thirty minutes to the store since our house is right in the middle of the pack lands and all the shops are right off the border so humans may go in them. It is how our pack makes money is from all the different shops and businesses. I head into the store and see my friend Kat is working today. She is a vampire and thankfully we all co-exist. The king brought us together to unite to major species instead of continuously fighting with one another. I grab the few things on the list and it's pretty quick because there aren't many people here today and I step into Kats line. "Long time no see stranger" I smile at her. "Back at you, How are you doing?" she says as she scans my things. "I've been better my parents keep trying to set me up on dates and now we have this "important" guest coming today and everyone is so uptight but won't tell me who they are." "Well, that sucks I'm sorry your parents are still trying to do that. Mine are still thinking I shouldn't be working and work more on trying to find a husband and pop out babies." "You aren't wrong, I will text you later tonight. " I head out of the store and see a very expensive sports car drive by thinking nothing of it and head back to the packhouse. When I pull up I see the car it's an Alpha Romero. I grab the things out of my trunk ogling the car because that is the exact car I wanted. I head into the kitchen to see my mom running around. "Mom are you okay? Also, who's car is that outside?" "Hi, honey, and sorry I'm very busy our guest came in early and I need to get dinner going or it's going to be late." "I'll get out of your hair then ma." I start to head upstairs and I smell the most intoxicating smell of Pine and Rain I almost swoon and Chase starts going crazy. I keep heading to my room and sit down at my desk. I start up my PC to get on cod with my friend James who also happens to be Kats's brother and Emma who is pretty badass at cod. Hey, guys you ready to play I text in our discord group. I get quick replies saying yes I plug in my headset and we start a call. "Hey, bitches you ready to kick some serious ass." I laugh as Emma says that. "Hell Yah!" James and I reply at the same time. We are in the middle of a game and I decide to tell them what happened today "Hey so I had something weird happen today. I was walking up to my room and passed my dad's office and a strong scent of pine ad rain hit me hard." "Mmmmm I'm not sure Nikko, I've never had that happen before. But the stories I've heard from other werewolves is that. You get hit by the scent and that means you found your mate." My eyes widen when he says that "Oh, no god please no. That means my parents will finally get what they want." I sigh and start to pop off killing a bunch of weaklings. "Damn Nikko pop off" I chuckle at Emma's comment. We are in the middle of our next game when someone abruptly barge's into my room scaring the crap out of me. I smell the scent again this time it's stronger and I look up to see who came into my room. I lock eyes with him and the next thing I know I hear Chase screaming Mate in my head. "Ah, guys give me a sec." The next thing I know my mate takes two long strides to me he whispers in his deep and husky voice "Mate" he captures my lips and I'm stunned but, melt right into him and kiss back with much eagerness. He breaks our kiss and I breathe in. I look into his beautiful dark green eyes. He takes his hand and caresses my cheek I lean into his hand feeling the tingles everywhere he touches. "Baby boy, what is your name?" Chase is practically purring at our new nickname "M-My name is Nikki but my friends call me Nikko." I get flustered and try to hide my face. "Don't hide your face from me." He says sternly and lifts my chin kissing my lips softly."Baby boy, I have some more business to take care of so wait for me." I nod and watch him start walking out but I grab his shirt "You never told me your name" He smirks "You never asked, my name is Brody Knight." He takes my hand and kisses it before he leaves. I am stunned and put my headset back on "I'm back sorry I just met my mate." "Sooooo what's his name" Emma coos she is also a werewolf but she is part of the strongest pack. Blue Moon pack. "Yeah tell us who they are." James snickers. I didn't realize that they heard everything. "He said his name was Brody Knight. Now that I think about it that name sounds kinda familiar." I look up quizzically trying to figure it out. Then it hits me. "Oh my gosh, he is the king! my mate is the king of the supernatural." James and Emma start laughing because they already figured it out when they heard his name."You just figured that out." James laughs at me "I can't even with you Nikko" Emma is laughing so hard she is snorting. "Come on guys this isn't funny, what am I going to do?" "What are going to do with what baby boy?" a husky voice says next to me and I jump looking at Brody. I blush dark immediately and quickly tell my friends I've got to go and they both say ooooo as I hang up on them. "H-hi King Brody." he grabs my chin and looks at me directly in my eyes "Don't call me that I am your mate only call me Brody. You got that baby boy." I nod quickly and start to get heated up. My body is reacting in ways I didn't expect. I watch as Brody stands up and smirks at me and I see his eyes turn a shade darker. "Baby boy if you arent careful I will f**k your brains out and mark you right here and know." I gulp but his threat ony makes me more turned. "Y-Yes Brody"
