Chapter 10 (Part2)

Back At the Hospital

(Prince Timothy's Pov)

"We lost a good amount of servants and castle guards princess. The wounded are being treated as we speak. Three of the pure blood family were badly wounded but as you are aware, they are healing quickly."

Of course they are.

"Ascian, I want every hospital in our kingdom to open up to all, human, werewolves and vampires. Everyone should be given a chance to live. Any hospital who refuses to take in humans or werewolves must be reported back to me at once." My sister spoke fiercely. They didn't dare deny her anything.

"I presume the former king and queen are helping out?"

"Yes princess. The queen is helping with the wounded and commanding the emergency medical staff to treat those in the main village square. Humans, vampires and werewolves, my princess."

"Good. The King?"

"Taken over castle since...." Ascian hesitated to answer my sister. Which was why her features contorted into a look a pure annoyance.

"Where the hell is my brother?" She seethed out.

"He uh....he left-"

"Where?" She drawled dangerously. What was up with Zenas?

"He left for Silver Heights after he informed your father. That is all I know my princess." The head guard informed his general and princess.

Fuck!! She cursed loudly in her head.

"Go continue your duties then. Save as many as possible. I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Yes Princess Esmeralda." He bowed and left. The two guards on either side of him followed in suit.

"We need to inform Beth." My sister muttered while she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"It'll be okay sister."

"No it won't Tim. The kingdom is almost defenceless now."

"We'll figure something out, I promise."

We walked into Lilian's room and saw the two women lost in their thoughts. I didn't want to know anything if Queen Bethany wanted it to be private so I urged my sister to deliver the news.

"Beth, you should really head towards Silver Heights. I just found out my brother is headed towards there. Tim you should go too."

"Why?" I asked curiously. I could stay and help around here.

"Because a certain someone may be worried once they find out about the bombings." She said before flicking my forehead.

Lilian immediately sat up at what was said.

"Yes he will worry too much. Kyle needs to know that we're safe." She opened her thoughts.

I rolled my eyes and stared at her. That human will know everything is okay once Queen Bethany returns.

"Queen Bethany will speak for us. He doesn't need to be such a baby."

"Tim you're being a baby now. Just shut up and go! They'll worry." My sister glared at me.

"Not too much though. No one really knows I'm in Red Kingdom." Queen Bethany said sheepishly.

"Well, once there's news about f*****g explosions won't everyone be worried about everyone?" Unlike that asshole Micah. She added in her mind.

"Why are you still thinking about that guy? You beat him to a pulp." I raised a brow at her.

"Get the hell away from my head Tim! Do you want another smack?!" She suddenly got all crazy on me.

I stepped back with both my hands up. I didn't want a slap from my sister. Nobody did. Nobody. She had the strength to behead people with her slaps.

"Which guy?" Queen Bethany asked. Even Lilian had her brows furrowed. They were eager.

Nothing like a good gossip.

"Everyone just shut up! Queen Bethany and Tim leave for Silver Heights now! I'm guessing that place is going to become a bloodbath if Phoenix and Zenas decide to have a go at each other." My sister put an end to further discussing.

After that Lilian took Queen Bethany's hand and looked at me to convey the message.

"She said she'll be fine in no time and after that, she wishes to help out. She wants us to give her love to Kyle and tell him bla bla bla....I don't care. We have more important things to worry about." Lilian looked at me with a shocked expression, not believing my attitude.

Can you blame me? I'm not interested in what they want to tell each other. If it was Lilian's dying wish, maybe I would have complied. But now that I know she was going to recover and get back on her feet very soon, she can tell my human whatever she wants to. I refuse to take any love sick messages.

"That was real mature." My sister stared me down. "Anyways, tell everyone there that Lilian is in good hands and when she recovers, she'll be with me helping the others out there. Tell them our family is fine too."

"Okay then. Goodbye princess." Queen Bethany stood up and hugged my sister, thanking her for everything. I too bid farewell to Lilian and my dear sister.

Silver Heights (Kyle's POV)

"That took hours little red." I whined as soon as she walked in. What did they even talk about. I remember doing some puzzles and then I saw unicorns. When I opened my eyes, Aeval was sitting on the three seater couch adjacent to my comfy single seater.

"I know Kylie Pie. Did you and India rest well? Your cheek has lines on them." I slept with my book plastered on my face. Great.

"Gabby stole the witch away. He said they won't be back until tomorrow."

"Really?" She seemed surprised for a moment. "I guess it's for the best. They need each other right now."

"Yeah so back to the plan...." I drawled out. But I was cut off by a certain someone who annoyed me.

"Hey man. What have you been up to?" I squinted my eyes at Alex and threw the puzzle book at him. To my satisfaction it hit him square on the face.

"What the hell?!!"

"You deserve it. You're lucky I'm starting out easy. Wait till you experience what we've got planned." I warned him. He just stared at me with anger and confusion.

"We? Who's we?"

"Oh you'll know." I spat out and continued with Aeval. Darky disappeared somewhere. As usual.

"Are the two of you done? Why did you hit him with the book Kyle?" She asked me with her queeny tone.

"Because I can Aeval. And I'll do it again!" I bit back.

"Fine, do what you want." I heard a gasp from Alex which made me snicker.

"Back to what's important. We want to double the guards everywhere. For now, we want to recruit more people who can fight or people who can be trained. I was looking forward to seeing General Gabriel but I guess his second in command will have to get the word out." She explained.

"What more? There has to be more. You guys were in there for hours!"

"Do you always have to shout?" Alex interrupted.

"Do you always have to cut in? Go sit somewhere else." I rolled my eyes at him. He gave his twin a questioning look in which she replied with a light shrug.

"I'll have to train as well. I'll do what I can with the golden haven upstairs. Maybe I'll get some answers. Plus, I've sent out my pixies to investigate. They should be returning soon actually. I can feel it." She excitedly said.

"That's good."

"Phoenix has also called the Alpha King for a meeting tomorrow morning."

"Will we see Tonya?!"

"I'm not sure about that. She seems to be very busy and..... trying to fit in." Aeval said softly. She worries about Tonya a lot and probably misses her like crazy.

"Tonya is fine Evie. Of course it won't be easy adjusting oneself to a new world but she has support." Alex said trying to ease Aeval.

"I'll pay her a visit if I can." I perked up.

"Oh Kyle! That would be wonderful! I just want to know if she's okay." Aeval was such a mama sometimes. Tonya is strong. Fitting into the werewolf kingdom won't be easy but she's the beta's mate. They must respect her or they can get severely punished. Putting that aside, who wouldn't like Tonya?

"Please don't get in trouble with the alpha king." Aeval and Alex both warned after a short moment of silence.

"Damn it you guys! I don't get into trouble." They nodded while they made a weird face. Screw them.

"Oh and Phoenix tried calling King Zenas. He doesn't seem to pick up or call back. What is happening with him?" Aeval looked at me obviously irritated with Zenas.

"He probably knows he's busted and he's trying to avoid Darky. Easy."

Right that moment, Percival walked in with his prim and proper steps.

"My Queen, King Zenas is here to see you and King Phoenix."

Aeval and Alex immediately looked at me.

"So he's not avoiding Darky." I muttered.
