He Feels It Too

"Yeah I know they aren't normal they have moons Chloe. They've been like that forever" I retorted. I couldn't see why she was screaming.

"No!!! Well yes but.... but...." she stammers.

Next thing you know she's rushing through the door dragging me with her not stopping until I'm in front of the mirror. My mouth fell open. If it weren't for me being speechless I would have been screaming like Chloe was a few moments ago. The coloring of my eyes swapped places. The crescent shapes were green and the irises we're golden. I felt myself start to tremble.

How? Why? How am I supposed to explain this when I can't even understand it myself?

Johnny's Pov:

I walked back into the school from leaving Cadence just to find the girl she calls Payton. I grabbed her by the arm and let Zeus's mind control break through. Next thing I know she's insisting I accompany her to a party tonight. Zeus is overjoyed with the thought his powers work on a mere mortal

"Maybe she just likes what she sees when looking at me" I retorted trying to bring his ego down a notch.

"Meet me out front of Lucy's. I'll find you then" I tell Payton

As I was making my way back to my mates house my wolf howls in agonizing pain and my human body feels it intensifying. I grab my head between my hands while gritting my teeth trying to hold back the blood curdling howl. As the pain subsided Zeus asked if I knew what happened. My mind raced to Cadence and the rogue. F*** Zues said. I tried reassuring my world that maybe she's just starting her shift but he wasn't having it.

Zeuss is going crazy and I'm fighting to hold him back until it's safe to shift. I barely made it to the treeline out of human sight and Zeuss had me running on all fours. I knew the risk of leaving but I had to be there tonight for my mate.

Zeus was in control now and he was pissed. My wolf is huge as I have alpha blood coursing through my veins. At the pace he's running I'm convinced were a gray and brown blur moving through the trees. Out of nowhere Zeus comes to a sudden hault. Then it hits me like a wall of bricks... blood suckers and rogues surrounding the property. I mind linked my beta Matthew, my gamma Kris, one of my elites and the current aplha my father that I needed them immediately. I was vague on details and just said I was surrounded by rogues and vampires.

"We're coming" I hear my father respond. I haven't told my parents why I moved to mystic view from pack land. once my dads eyes land on cadence he'll know. He told me stories of him and the crescent shine packs alpha being close friends and quite the set of allies.

Lucy's pov:

"Cadence calm yourself" it's the comforting women's voice. "You're going to be alright and you'll understand soon."

My whole body hurt and all I smell is rotting flesh. I have to be losing my mind I say to myself. Out of nowhere while getting ready there's this strange calmness surrounding me. Its likes it's calling to me. As we finish getting our dresses on I hear mom mumbling that she forgot her keys and the door is locked. I chuckle to myself as I head down to let her in. I open the door and as her eyes fell on me her face paled.

"Aurora" she called to me.

"Mom it's me Lucy" I said with way more confusion than I intended.

"Oh my goddess I'm so sorry baby you looked so much like an old friend of mine as she wrapped me in a hug. Chloe came down saying our friends had text her that they're here and then I feel it. The feeling of electricity shot through me. That means one thing I thought to myself he's here.

I look just past my mom and see Payton standing near Johnny and talking like they've known each other their whole lives. The rage I felt growing within me was enough to make me want to go over and rip her limb from limb. Almost on cue Johnny looks in my direction and I turned my gaze before meeting his eyes. There's a stillness In the year as the heat of his gaze spreads to my core.

As I approach Johnny and my supposed friend Payton I notice my rage it settling some noticing how he avoids her touch. For some f****** reason I can't stand her being near him. As if reading my mind he steps further away from her and closer to me. He doesn't seem as relaxed and it's like o feel his tension. That's when we all hear it... wolves and a lot of them.

"It's almost time be ready" a man's voice said that chilled me to the bone.

Johnny's becoming more and more tense as we make our way to the back of the property for our fire. This part of the property is my favorite. We have a huge pond that's surrounded by thick woods. But nestled between the safety of the pond and the mystery of the woods is a beautiful, dainty, cozy cabin. At least that's what ive always thought of it until now. As my eyes land on the cabin flashbacks and fears of the nightmare just a few nights ago start hitting me full bore.

I shake off the fear and chuckle to myself as I tell myself to stop being a scaredy cat! I look around at all my friends and my family and realize someone's missing. Everybody is talking and laughing as we light the fire and I can't help but wonder where my dad is. As worry crept in I felt a hand settle into the small of my back. The electric jomtsy went straight to the core of my virginity. Oh my goddess why do I feel this way for a guy I don't even know?. Does he feel it too I can't help but wonder, as I fail to hold back the rosey shade filling my cheeks.
