Chapter 2: Accident

(Elizabeth POV)
"Oh my God!"
I screamed in horror, and my car came to a stop, what just happened? I asked myself, I just hit someone, I rushed down from the car,
“Hey! Are you okay?" I asked the beautiful young girl who was staring at me dumbstruck,
then she spoke up “I'm fine” she stood up from the ground, “just a little scratch, I will be fine” she said.
I held my chest in relief, “please hump into the car let me take you to the hospital” I said
“no ma'am I'm fine it's just a small injury, you don't need to waste your money on it”,
I immediately fell in love with this girl, such a loving creature, “well, I insist”, I protested, she agreed, and we went to hospital together, after the doctor dressed her wound, I clear the bills.
Not only that, but I decided to drop her off, we got to her house and she came down, “please can I go in with you? Just want to say
“hi” to your parents and to apologize for what happened earlier”.
She hesitantly agreed, we went in, immediately I saw her mom, I became so emotional that I began to feel hot tears rolling down my cheek.
“What happened to her??” “I asked, she from ladder at her working place” the girl I hit earlier which later confirmed her name was Kim said, “what about your dad?” “He passed away when I was a baby”.
She told me her life history, and I felt pity for her, I offered to help, “first we need to hire the best doctor in town to treat your mom, so she can stand on her feet again” I said.
She was so excited, that she threw herself on me and hugged me tight, sobbing, “can't thank you enough ma'am you're an angel in human form” she said.
“Then you will get back to college, hence forth, I will provide your needs and bear all your expenses” I said she pulled away from the hug and said, “how can I repay you ma?"
“I really want to work for you” she said. “ Okay you will work as my son's personal maid, no much work, just cook,
wash and prepare his bath, every other work his other maids will do them, He doesn't live with me and my husband, you can be going to college from there”.
Her mom kept on praising and thanking me, bade them goodbye, and left.
(Kim's POV)
After the woman left our house, the next day my mom went for the surgery, luckily for us, it was successful, immediately after the surgery, the doctor said I could go see her.
I opened the door, and she smiled at me, my heart limped for joy, so I ran to hug her so tight that I never wanted to let go,
I stated crying, but it was tears of joy," my angel you don't have to cry I'm fine” mom said, “yes mom I'm just so happy can't control my emotions I replied. She kissed my forehead,
“Tomorrow, I will be starting college again, I'm so happy mom, and I will be leaving to stay with her son for my work and also go to the college from there”.
“She said she will be sending you a maid who will take excellent care of you in my absence, I will miss you, mom”. " I love you too, my daughter” mom replied. We hugged each other.
Next day
I got ready to leave, mom has been discharged from hospital, and she's recovering, we cried, hugged each other, she bailed me goodbye and I left.
(Masons POV)
After work, I went to my parent's house to eat dinner, when I got there I my mom has prepared my best dishes, I was so excited, I sat down on the dinning table to eat with them.
"Son, I cooked all your best dishes today because we've hired a personal maid that will take care of you, food, clothes,
in fact, all your personal requirements, okay?? You will only eat here when you come to visit which will not been as often as you do, we want you to focus on your personal life” mom said.
“What a freaking ant hole” I shouted, dad! What's this all about? I asked, facing dad.
“Your mom is right, we want you to focus on your life, if you keep coming here you now on't be able to do that” dad replied.
My parents have lost their minds, I thought, I just ate my food, they kept talking non-stop, but I just kept silent, they knew I was upset about what they just said.
They understood and later kept quiet, after having the meal, I went straight to my friend's house.
I drove to Ben my best friend's house and knocked on the door, he opened the door, "my man" we shook hands, and we entered inside.
“Guy that was what happened” I told him all that happened, he just laughed and said, “I think it will be good for you”, "are you supporting them as well.?" I asked.
“No man, just that”, “don't bother saying it, I need to go and rest, I have an essential meeting tomorrow, I have a deal I have to sign”, cutting him off from his words.
I stood up and left, I got to the house, went straight to my house, laid down on the bed and slept off.
(Elizabeth POV)
I know his upset, but he has to grow up, we can't continue to pamper him for the rest of our lives, it's now or never, he has to learn more about life and sort out hos problems on his own”, My husband said.
“Yes sweetheart, I'm sure our decision about our son is a good one, and I pray he gets along with Kim, that was the reason I assigned her to be his personal maid so that
They can be close.
I need them to get along very well, she's such a sweet girl, I will really love to have her as my daughter-in-law” I grinned happily.
