Chapter Eight: The Video Recording

When I meet up with Chat noir, I see him glaring at me.

"Where the hell have you been? A citizen was in trouble!" He yelled.

"Excuse you! I've been handling things on my end too. So you can get your head out of your ass so we can exchange information."I snap back to him.

"I'm sorry M'Lady, it's just someone very important to me got caught." As I slightly blush, I shake my head and get myself together.

"It's fine so what's the information you have?" I ask him.

"Well Marinette told me when I recovered her from his grasp, she said he's targeting people who aren't in love." Then it gets me thinking earlier he said he loved someone, if we found out who he was in love with we can find out what happened.

"Here's what we need to do kitty. My information says he was In love with somebody, so we need to find who that was, and it'll give us a hint where the akuma is." As we start digging we find out that he had a best friend that he fell in love with and she teaches at our school.

"Ms.Juliet, we need to speak to you. Do you have a childhood best friend called Marco?" I ask

"Ladybug? Chat noir? Yes I do know Marco...is there something wrong with him?" She asks.

"Well he's been akumatized ma'am. Unfortunately it had something to do with his feelings for you. Would you happen to know any information that could help us?" I pleaded with her.

"I've loved him for years and I never worked up the courage to tell him. Then he suddenly confessed to me and I was so shocked, but before I could give him my answer everyone laughed and bullies made fun of him. Then he ran off and a few hours later you guys show up." She says while looking down.

"Was there anything precious to him?" I ask.

"Well we used to keep these charm bracelets, that meant we would be together forever." Then she shows me her bracelet and now I get with Chat In the corner.

"Alrighty kitty I know what we are going to do now." As we head towards the Eiffel Tower, Chat gets into position and when Marco shows up and start to battle. Suddenly he pins me down and tries to take my earrings.

"This is over Ladybug!" As he is about to take my earrings we hear a voice coming towards us.

"Marco! Please stop this!" She screams while tears flow down her cheeks.

"Juliet!? What are you doing here?" He asks while getting off of me.

"Listen to what I have to say Marco! I know you told me how you felt, but you never let me tell you how I felt! I've always loved you Marco, so please come back to me!" As he walks towards her we see the bracelet hanging on his belt!

"Chat noir! The belt now!"

"Right! Cataclysm!!" As he destroys the bracelet, I get rid of the akuma and release the butterfly.

"Pound it!" Chat noir and I say while bumping or fists together.

"That's right! I have to go check on Marinette!" He says and I grab his tail.

"She's fine! I took her somewhere safe! Well I gotta go bug out!" Then I head back to my room and I de-transform and give Tikki a macaroon. Suddenly Chat noir comes into my room through my window.

"Chat!?! What are you doing here?" Then he hugs me tightly and de-transforms.

"Are you okay? How is your throat?" As he places his hand on my neck I slap it away.

"I'm fine Adrien, you should go back now, someone could see you." I say while backing away from him.

"Marinette...it has to be this way." Then I glare at him and hit his chest.

"I don't understand! We were fine this morning! Am I the only one who...?"

"Marinette...all you'll get being around me is pai-!" Then I can't take it anymore and I kiss him deeply.

Adrien's POV:

W-What is she doing? I need to pull away, but I can't because I want her. I don't want to let go of this feeling.

As our lips separate she stares at me with those big beautiful eyes.

"Please Adrien...don't stop this. I know that it's wrong and I know we can't continue this for long in secret, but please let me be selfish for a little while longer. I love you Adrien." As she blushes and a tear falls down her cheek, I kiss her deeply, while picking her up and throw the things on her desk onto the floor.

"Marinette, once I start I can't promise I'll be gentle to you like last night." Suddenly she brings me up on the bed and flips me over, where she's on top of me, and she takes off her shirt.

"That's why you said those things this afternoon. Adrien, you aren't hurting me at all. I know this is wrong doing this behind everyone's back, but I don't want this to stop either. I've loved you since middle school and I don't regret loving you at all." As I kiss him passionately, i hear a purr coming from him.

"Is that...a purr Adrien?" I asked while chuckling.

"N-No you're just hearing things!" He says while suddenly turning his head to the side and blushing hard. Then I get on top of him and start teasing him.

"Now you're totally blushing! Aww you're so cute!" I say while smiling.

"N-No way! Stop staring at me!" He pleads while blushing harder, and I kiss him passionately.

"I love you Adrien." As we both smile we cuddle each other all night long. Hours later as I realize it's my night on patrol I kiss his head and head out my window with my robe on.

"Marinette are you sure this is a good idea?" Tikki asks while sitting on my shoulder.

"What do you mean Tikki?" I ask quietly trying not to wake Adrien.

"I mean he could see you transform. Not to mention he's Chat noir! It's already bad enough you know his identity. What if he finds out yours?" Then I pat her head and she smiles.

"I've got his Tikki I promise. Now let's get going! Tikki spots on!" Then I start my patrol.

Adrien's POV:

Suddenly my phone rings and I notice it's Kagami calling. When I try to make sure I don't wake Marinette I realize she's not here and the window is open. I wonder where she went off at 11pm at night.

"Hello? Adrien? Where are you, I called multiple times and I went to your house. Natalie said you haven't been home all day!" Kagami yells at me.

"I'm out with a few friends right now Kagami. I'll be home tomorrow." I reply while scratching my head and heading to the restroom downstairs.

"Oh really friends huh? Where because I can join you, I miss you." She pleads with me.

"Not tonight Kagami. I'll see about tomorrow when I'm back home. I have to go to the restroom, so I'll call you tomorrow. Then as I hung up, I realize Marinette isn't here at all. All her things like her phone and her sketch book is here so I hope she's alright. Suddenly I hear someone on top of her roof where he room is, so I head up there immediately. As I'm about to head up the ladder to her window, I see a red flash and I thought I saw ladybug. Then our eyes meet and she hurries inside.

"Oh Adrien, you're awake? How did you sleep?" She asks. There's no way right, she couldn't be Ladybug. Well maybe I should just test her? Then I quickly pretend to fall off the ladder.

"Adrien...!!" Then I fall on my back. I guess if she was ladybug she'd catch me effortlessly.

"Are you okay Kitty?" However as she reaches her hand out to me, I can't help but think she reminds me a lot of Ladybug. As I get up I pull her closer to me and kiss her.

"Adrien what was that for?" She chuckles and then she kisses my neck. Then I spin her around and kiss her many times.

"I was just wondering where you went off to?" I ask.

"Just catching some air that's al-" Suddenly she runs off and throws up in the trash can.

"Are you alright Marinette? I ask while rubbing her back gently.

"Yea...I'm not sure why I just did that. I'm fine though honestly." She reassures me while I wipe her mouth. Then she hugs me tight and I hold her in my arms.

"Oh Marinette, how bold of you, taking the initiative" As a lean in for a kiss she pushes me off playfully.

"In your dreams kitty." She says while smiling and laughing. Suddenly, Marinette's door opens and Alya leans against the wall.

"Am I interrupting you two?" Alya says while seemingly glaring.

"Alya it's not-" Then I cut her off and protect Marinette by holding her in my arms.

"Alya perfect timing come in. We should all talk, please shut the door." As she closes it she sits in the chair and she looks at everything from the desk on the floor.

"So, it's seems like you two have had an eventful day." She snaps back at us. While Marinette looks at the floor trying to hold back her tears, I hold her hand and reassure her everything will be okay.

"Alya, I understand that we both have the same goal that we don't want Marinette to get hurt, but you don't understand. It's not just as simple to leave, the feeling we have for one another is an electric feeling. When I'm not around her it's like a whole in my heart is empty without her." I try to plead with her.

"Yet you cannot be with her in public? How long do you expect things to last like that. I understand how you guys feel, but what happens when more people find out." She replies while looking sad. Suddenly a tear falls down Marinette's cheek.

"Alya, I am so sorry I didn't tell you before, and truth to be told there are a lot of things I haven't told you. However, I know you think what we are doing is reckless and it means nothing, but that's not it! I love him Alya, there's nothing else to explain. I know it's wrong and we shouldn't be doing this, but I don't care! I want him even for a little bit I want him to wrap his arms around me, and he feels the same!"

"So you wouldn't mind if I exposed this then? What would happen then." She replies while showing the voice recorder.

"You wouldn't-"

"Then I would take all of the responsibility. I will protect Adrien at all costs because I love him Alya!" Then I blush hard and I cover my mouth while Alya laughs as we both say "WHY WOULD YOU JUST START PROFESSING YOUR LOVE LIKE THAT!?!"

"Well I'll keep your secret for now, but Marinette" she wipes her tears and hugs her. "Please be careful." Then smiles and heads downstairs.

"Alright princess I think it's time for us to go to bed." As I pick her up and carry her to bed I kiss her head gently and hold her tight.

"Good night princess." Then I hold her tight and we drift off to sleep. Tomorrow we will talk about what Marinette and I are, and I'll tell her how I feel about her.
