Broken until I met them!

The new school. Ashley's POV " Ashley get your ass out of bed " I hear my room mate say. " If we're late it on you this time " she added. " Cassie just two more minutes" I ask holding up two fingers. And with that I felt my bed shake and she jumped on me giving me a wet willy. " Oh my God Cassie your gross why did you do that " I screamed getting our of bed and running for the bathroom. " Cause we can't be late for the first day of school Ash, now get dressed " Cassie says walking into the bathroom. " Ugh I'm not ready for this yet, new school and the new kid great " I whined flopping down on my bed face first. Yes people you heard correctly, I was shipped to boarding school by my parents cause I couldn't handle the crap of the last couple of years in my old school and the only other school closest to the pack was to far for my parents to drive me in and out to school and back. So here I was at Brooklyn High. " You'll be fine Ash I know you will " Cassie tried to assure me " Now get your ass up and pull yourself together we need to get going " She said grabbing my wrist pulling me off my bed " You seem very obsessed with my ass this morning, is there something I need to know?" I looked at her shocked before I started laughing and pushed me playfully. We got into her car laughing and joking until the car came to a stop and I gulped harder that I should and just looked at Cassie wide eyed. Cassie was my best best friend for the last two months when I came to Brooklyn High's boarding school during summer vacation but Cassie was there she hardly ever goes home so we bonded straight away I think she knows me even better than my old friends back home and that made me sad cause I knew them almost my entire life. I think Cassie saw me going back memory lane she know about almost everything that happened in my life back home I lm struggling to open up but I'm getting there. " Ashley don't be scared I told you you'll be fine I promised you" Cassie said placing her hand on mine for reassurance. I glanced at her and tried smiling I can do this I know I can. I opened the door and got out the car the school was beautiful it had a collage look but the hole teenager vibe. And excitement took over and started smiling walking to Cassie and she smiled " Welcome to Brooklyn High Ash " she said and she walked up to me and walk into the schools main entrance. " Cassie I need to get to get my schedule " I said and strated to panic again. She just laughed at me and walked me to the administration office. I walked into the office and at the office table sat n mid aged lady with grey and black hair and glasses and when she saw me she smiled at me " Can I help you my dear " she asked sweetly " Good morning Mam, I have to get my schedule as I only started going to school here today " I said nervously She chuckled at me and said " you'll be fine Brooklyn High is n great school and I see you have a very good GPA so you'll fit in " I smiled, I took my schedule and left for my first class. Yes I had a good GPA cause instead of partying like the other teenagers I spend all my free time behind my books studying or reading well mostly reading. I was the kids that got bullied in school so I didn't have much friends well I had one kind of but that is a story for another day It was a relived when I saw I wasn't the only new kid as the guy standing behind me also said he was new and to get his schedule and when I left the office he smiled at me I returned the smile but couldn't shake the feeling that I know him from some where. He looks like typical bad boy the type your mamma would warn you against. I shook of the feeling and walked off to my first class. English Literature my favourite class of all classes as I walk into to class the teacher smiles at me and I introduce myself, as I turn around to go sit Cassie waves at me to sit with and I did atleast I wasn't alone on my first day and my first class. The day went smoother than I thought I soon realized it was break, I walked into the cafeteria and see Cassie at the food counter stacking it with with but what surprised me is that she already had a tray for me I walk up to her and just giggle as she hands me a tray full of food and fruit. " Cassie how the hell do you expect me to eat all of this " I said my eyes wide looking at the tray. " Your way to skinny for my liking so eat up Ash you need to get some foon into that your lady body can actually look like a lady body!! she said sternly " Okay mom " I said not arguing anymore. " I'm not your mom Ash unlike the people you knew in the past I actually care about you and want the best for you" she said bumping me slightly with her shoulder and I sighed and gave a bright smile It's true she new what a couple of weeks and she's done more for me that my friend at home did. And it brought warmth to the cold feeling in my heart. She shows me where our table is there are a few of her friends she always hangs out with, introducing me to her brother Ivan he stays at the boys boarding side he is her older brother he will be turning 18 he graduates this year, and her childhood friends Jason and Clare. I'm try to eat but I'm laughing so hard at the s**t they did as kids I can hardly swallow my foon. I also found out that Cassie is a beta's daughter and Ivan will be taking over when their father retired. Cassie looks up and she stops talking all together and she is ogling something or more someone, when I looked up I saw what she is looking at, the most hottest guy walking out way, he's build like a photo shoot male model only with a more manly muscular body, jet black hair and the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen. I start laughing and hit Cassie in the ribs with my elbow and she snaps out of it blushing redder than a child playing on the beach the hole day. " That is our future Alpha Marcus " she whisper at me soft enough only me hearing her. " What's up bro' Ivan jumped up giving Marcus a bro hug " What's up Ivan " he replied with a chuckle. " Who is this sitting with us today you never let strangers sit with us Cas " he look at her and blushed yet again. " Hi Marcus uhm oh she's uhm this is Ashley she is my new roommate and new kid in school " she said nervously, a side off Cassie I never knew she always seemed so confident. I giggled at her shaking my head, I extend my hand " Hi Marcus I'm Ashley " he shakes my hand " Hi Ashley I'm Marcus future Al- " he coughed in his hand " Sorry stupid flu I just can't loose it " he said looking anywhere but me does he not smell that I'm not human. " I know what you are Marcus cause I am too " I said laughing and he looks at me and shrugs " Sorry we were taught to switch off our senses from a young age so that if we go to high school we won't beat the s**t our of everyone that seems like a thread" he said rubbing the back of his neck. I have neve laughed so hard in my life hearing the s**t they did as kids. I have a sad feeling wishing I had that as a kid, I wish I had friends like these growing up. I can't even join then and talk about my childhood cause all my childhood consisted of was sadness and hurt being bullied physically and mentally. Not only does my body hold one of the worst memories but my heart only knows pain and being broken all the time. " What about you Ash, what was your childhood like? What kind off s**t did you get up to with your friends " Ivan asked popping a grape into his mouth. I looked down at my hands feeling nervous now. " Well uhm I was uhm y-you know l was like - " I get interrupted by Cassie as she saves me " Have you guys the new kid this morning? The gorgeous bad boy " Cassie said with dreamy eyes and earns a low growl from Marcus and Ivan. Them completely forgetting about talking about me. Cassie starts laughing and I mouth a ' Thank you ' since we're not from the same pack we can't mind link. " Do you even know who he is " Ivan asked Cassie in n low growl. " Well duh everyone know who Brent is " Cassie with obvious tone I look at her confused " Cassie I don't know who Brent is, who is he??" " Ashley he isn't someone you want to know he is bad boy" Ivan says with a stern look " You, Marcus and Brent use to be best friends even you two where as bad as him and you played girls harder than he did so stop the good boy act it's not working " Cassie scolded Ivan and he just looked at her shocked and stared laughing. " Brent was adopted at four and didn't know he was a werewolf, till the day before his 16th birthday his parents told him and we where all shock he knew about us and trained with as as human he became strong as hell, the day he shifted was the last time we saw him till today " Ivan explained how they where friend but I had this weird feeling that I knew him. The rest of the day went by quickly and with that the bell for the bell rings, I go to my locked and put away the books I don't need and take the two I need cause yes teachers gives homework on the first day. We all decided to go grab something to eat later that day, I wait for Cassie at her car, she walks up and we leave for the dorm. I get my homework out at my desk and start on that. When I was done it was time to get ready cause had to be at MacDonald's at 6 the boys wanted to show off their skateboard tricks before we stated eating.
