The alarm went off at 6:30 the next morning. Grunting, I shut it off and climbed out of bed. I’m guessing I got up too fast since I started feeling very dizzy and the room was spinning. One minute I was looking at the T.V. The next minute I felt someone’s arms around me asking me if I’m ok.

“Tucker, I’m glad you're here. What would we ever do without you?” I said I already knew who caught me from Addy yelling in my head.

“Are you feeling bad, do you need to lay back down?” Tucker couldn't keep the worry out of his voice. “We’re fine Tuck, I just got up too fast, and the power of the Luna mark made me a little dizzy. It’s gonna take a minute to get used to it.” I replied trying to hide the blush that crept up on my face. Tucker laughed then helped me sit up. Once my head was on straight he helped me stand staying by my side until I had my bearings.

After a quick “see you in 20”, I rushed into the bathroom, washed my face, brushed my teeth then my hair. Went back into my room, put on the first outfit I could find that actually fit, then ran downstairs to Tucker telling me we’re going to be late. Once we got to the car I looked at Tucker “Goddess, Why can’t he be my mate? He’s so gorgeous and Kayla needs us to both be together.” I thought in my head.

“Tuck, what are you going to be doing after school today?” I asked. “Hhmm, I don’t know it’s my last day before Alpha training so I was hoping to get a little bit of time in with Christa. Why what’s going on?” He asked. “Not much was just needing to go get some clothes, Kayla is making sure I don’t fit into anything anymore. Plus we never got to let Addy and Trent go running yesterday. So I was going to see if you wanted to join me, but I’ll ask Aerial if she’d like to go.” “Are you sure I could ask Christa if she’d like to go? We haven’t really been on a date and I’m sure she wouldn’t mind after everything that happened yesterday. We both kind of need to explain things to her.” Tucker replied, looking like he was being torn between us.

“Don’t worry about it Tuck, I’m sure Aerial would like to go with me, you know she’s a major shopper. Plus I’m sure she’ll help pick up some more stuff for Kayla. Not only that I can tell Christa doesn’t really like me. I don’t want her to think I’m trying to steal her mate.” I replied in all honesty. “If that’s the way you feel, how about this after you go shopping we’ll let Addy and Trent have some time together. Plus you can’t steal her mate when half of you is my mate.” Tucker said with a huge smile on his face.

We pulled up to the school, still talking about tonight. When Christa seen us she glared at me Then ran over into Tucker’s arms giving him a huge kiss. I fought the urge to vomit yelling at Tucker that I’d see him later as I ran off in search of Aerial.

I found her a few minutes later talking to Brendon. I walked up to them slowly, “Future Alpha. I was wondering if I could borrow your lovely lady here for a minute.” I said in a funny voice. “Sure but be sure to bring her back in one piece he,” replied laughing. Grabbing Aerial’s arm I quickly asked her about shopping tonight which she agreed to immediately.

When I turned around to head to class I was surrounded by a few girls I didn’t recognize. “Where do you think you're going, you little bitch.” One of them asked. “I’m headed to class if you would let me pass,” I said, trying to push through them. “Are you sure you're not trying to steal someone else’s mate you little slut?” Came from another one of the girls.

“I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about, now you need to move so I can go to class.” I said, shoving one of the girls to the side. As I was trying to pass one of the girls grabbed my arm spinning me towards her curled up fist, aiming straight for my stomach. I felt a surge of power rise within me, I closed my fist and clocked her in her jaw.

“I don’t know who you are but let me warn you now, if you ever touch me again I will break your neck.” I shouted in a voice I didn’t recognize. Everyone turned to look at me, mouths agape. I just stood there puzzled then Addy came into my head. “You’re a Luna now, you’ve got to make them bow down or this will keep happening.” “Is that where that voice came from?” I asked her, still a little puzzled. “Yes you’ve got to prove to them that you’re a Luna.” Addy replied.

I looked at the girl whimpering on the ground feeling sick to my stomach. Then I looked at everyone else. “This is the last time I’m gonna tolerate anyone talking behind my back.” I said in the same strong voice. To my shock the first thing I heard was Brendon’s voice saying “Yes Luna.” Bowing his head towards me.

I glanced around the hallway’s everyone was shocked at Brendon’s proclamation, then one by one a chorus of “Yes Luna’s” and bow’s came from everyone in the school. I looked back at the girl still curled up on the floor then stated “Someone get her to the pack doctor.” Then I walked to class.

The rest of the school day proved to be a headache as everyone tried to get close to the new Luna aka me. I just wanted to have some peace and quiet for once. I sat in my last class with everyone staring at me wishing for time to just hurry up so I could find Aerial and go shopping. Thankfully when the bell rang no one got in my way so I was able to run to Aerial’s car without any problems.

On the ride to the mall Aerial asked me why Brendon called me Luna. I told her it was a long story but would sit aside a day that I could explain it to her. “Can I see your mark?” She asked. I turned around pulling my shirt down so she could see the mark of the ‘Luna.’ “That’s amazing, I’ve always wanted to be a Luna, but I guess that’s not going to happen now.” She said almost wanting to cry. “Don’t be too sure about that, you can still be a ‘Luna’ even though I’m a Luna.” I told her.

She gave me a quizzical look but I told her it was for another time since we were pulling into the parking space at the mall. I got out of the car and waited for Aerial to come beside me. Once inside the store we went to ‘Baby gap’ of course. I bought Kayla’s crib, a stroller, a changing table and some more clothes (hey a girl can never have too many clothes).

Then we went to a couple stores picking up some maternity clothes and ended up in the food court.

I got some chinese since I was craving hot and spicy chicken with an egg roll and hot and sour soup. Aerial got sweet and sour chicken with crab rangoon. “You sure do like spicy food huh.” Aerial laughily stated. “Don’t look at me, this baby only wants spicy food. It's like, the spicier the better.” I told her taking a big bite of my chicken.

Right when we were about to leave, two huge rouge’s showed up. “I hear you are having a baby with someone who isn't your mate.” Disgusting Rogue one said. “You think if she gave it to someone who isn’t her mate we could get some of that action ourselves?” Disgusting rouge two asked his companion. “I think it’s worth a shot.” Disgusting rogue one said. Pulling me to my feet. “If you cooperate you and your bastard child might live.” Disgusting rogue two said pulling me with him.

Aerial looking alarmed but not knowing what to do tried to yank his hand off of me. He slapped her so hard she went flying across the food court. I told her to stay back while I was trying to get one of the guard’s attention. The rogues were ready for it though, they had 4 other rogues on each of her guards. Unsure of what to do Ashlynn tried to find her new Luna strength but it didn’t work.

The rogues dragged Ash into the parking lot and tried to stuff her in a black SUV, when a booming “What are you doing?” came from out of nowhere. One of the rogues loosened his grip on Ashes arm enough that she was able to free it. She reached around and clocked the guy in the face then went to knee the other guy in the groin. Noticing that she was free, the rogue grabbed a silver knife and pointed it at her stomach. “One more move and that baby’s dead.” Disgusting rogue one said.

Ash was so scared she didn’t want anything happening to Kayla. She stepped back, but the rogue was ready. He grabbed her arm again and tried to shove her into the SUV. Once his back was turned Tucker came up behind him grabbing him by his neck, and threw him on the sidewalk. He looked at Ash and asked if she and Kayla were ok. When she nodded he turned back to the rogue laying on the ground.

He mind linked Alpha Jones letting him know of the attacks and asked what he wanted to do with the rogues. Alpha Jones sent immediate reinforcements and arrested the rogues. They swore not to speak instead swallowed silver packets, commiting suicide.

Tucker walked right up to Ashlynn, “Are you ok? Did they hurt you? Do you need anything? “Tuck I’m fine, Kayla is fine, I just wanna go home, will you get me out of here please?” Ash begged before remembering Aerial inside. Once this reality hit she ran to check on her.

Aerial suffered a broken rib that had to be rebroken once she got to the pack clinic. Ash felt horrible since going shopping was her idea. She refused to leave her side until she was released from the clinic the next day.

Alpha Jones put more security around Ashlynn trying to protect her and the baby she was carrying. Knowing how special she was, he didn't want to risk her well being again. Alpha Jones wanted Ash to stay at home to finish school, but she politely declined, stating “There’s so many pack member’s and wolves there that it would be the safest place for them. Alpha Jones didn’t like this idea but went along with it anyway.
