Inside the pack house

After Alpha Jones left I gave Tucker a hug telling him I’d see him in an hour Then telling Mr. and Mrs. Rayne goodbye. I ran upstairs to start packing my things then came back down 25 minutes later. I looked at my dad who started crying “you know you don’t have to do this, you could terminate the pregnancy and stay with us if you wanted.” My dad said. I heard Addy screaming in my head “bite him, bite him, make him know he will not hurt our baby!” “Dad, I want this baby, I can’t explain it. Me and Tucker talked about not having this baby but cringed at the idea Plus our wolves went belligerent at the thought of never seeing Kayla.” I replied, giving him a hug goodbye. I then went to my mom giving her a hug “stay in school sweetie get a good job and let Tucker help you with my granddaughter.” my mom told me. After giving her a peck on the cheek I said one final goodbye then took my bags to the car.

When I reached the pack house Tucker was waiting on me. He came up to me pulling me into a tight hug then grabbing my bags leading me to the door. When we were about to knock, the door opened with Alpha Jones on the other side greeting us. “Follow me you two. Now this case is different, normally the pack house is for mates who are expecting a child so we let the family stay together. Since you two aren’t mates but are having a child together you’ll have separate rooms.” Alpha Jones said, walking towards our rooms.

“Now we know how important it is for a child to have both their parents but this is the best I can give you.” He said pointing to the three rooms we were now standing in front of. “Ashlynn this will be your room, while the middle room will be little Kayla’s and then Tucker you’ve got the one right next to hers. Since this case is special, mine and my mates' rooms are right beside Tuckers as we promised your parents to look after you two.

Now I understand you’ll both be 18 within the next 3 months correct?” We both nodded knowing Tucker’s birthday was in 3 weeks and mine in 2 and a half months.

“Good when you both turn 18 then you can decide if you would like to move into the same room or like to continue living separately.” Alpha Jones replied. ”I do have some rules to go over with the both of you. Firstly, both of you are to continue to go to school. Both of you must get a job until you find it difficult to work, miss Ashlynn and third no s*x in the pack house. Finally any public place is open to you. My office is just a knock away and if you need me all you have to do is ask. We both looked at each other then replied “Yes Alpha.” It’s getting late, go unpack, breakfast is at 6:00 am, dinner is at 7:00 pm you’ll be expected to help around the house unless you're at school or work. Congratulations you two I can’t wait to meet your little addition” Alpha Jones stated then walked off.

Tucker carried my bags into my room then I followed him looking around. It was a nice room. The walls were a light violet with a big screen TV. There was a queen size bed, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom attached. I opened the door to look inside the closet and it was huge!! “I didn’t bring much,” I said out loud. “Do you need anything at all?” Tucker asked. “I’m not sure everything I’ve got will fit in the dresser but it would be ashame to let this huge closet to go to waste.” I replied. He chuckled then said we’d go shopping tomorrow.

Once my bags were in my room Tucker took his bags to his room, then knocked on my door asking if I would like something to eat? I nodded yes, so we went down to the kitchen. We made a sandwich, grabbed a bag of chips and a bottle of water then sat down to eat. “What would you like to shop for tomorrow?” I asked Tucker. “Well it’s clear you need some clothes and I need to grab some stuff for school then while we’re out we can start looking for a job. Do you have an idea of where you would like to apply?” He asked. “I was thinking about the nursery since I’ve never really held or cared for a baby before.” I told him honestly. We talked a little bit more while we finished up our dinner then went upstairs to bed.

After dinner, Tucker walked me back to my room. Once we got to my door he asked if he could come in? I nodded my head and he followed behind me sitting on the bed. I turned to look at Tucker “Guess we’re in this for the long haul.” I said chuckling. He looked at me laughing “guess you’re right best get comfortable with me since I’m not going anywhere.” Tucker replied honestly. “Tuck, please tell me this isn’t a dream. That I won’t wake up tomorrow and none of this has actually happened. Our little girls’ gonna be here someday and we’ll be able to handle all of this.” I said, starting to cry again. “Come here, it’s all going to be ok I’m here we’re going to have our sweet baby just like the goddess promised us. Listen, you can hear her heartbeat. You can feel me this isn’t a dream, we are real, and we’re not going anywhere. I replied to her hoping it was the truth.

“I think I know what you need,” he said, turning to look at me. “How about I make you a nice hot bath then when you're done I’ll rub your back until you fall asleep?” He asked me hoping to keep me from crying even more. “You’d do that for me?” I asked in between sobs. “Of course I would, I care so much about you and it hurts me to see you cry.” He told me. “I’m sorry I don’t know why I’m crying so much. I promise I’m happy.

Tucker went into the bathroom then the next thing I heard was the water running, then he came back into my room. “Your bath water is running. I can go to my room while you bathe if you want or I can sit in here until you're done. The choice is up to you. I'm fine with either.” “Thank you so much Tucker, you can stay in here if you’d like. I won't be very long.” I told him. I grabbed my night clothes consisting of a spaghetti strap shirt and a pair of gym shorts then headed into the bathroom.

Once I got into the tub I felt more relaxed and even noticed Addy had calmed down a little. “Addy, are you still awake?” I asked her. “Yes Ash what’s going on” she replied to me. “Addy I can tell you’re scared, we never planned to have a baby this young but are you sure we're going to be ok?” I asked her “Yes Ash this little one is destined to be here. You’re destined to be her mom and I promise Tucker and Trent are gonna stay with us. This will work out Ash, I wouldn’t make you go through this if the goddess didn’t tell me we’d be safe.”

After my bath I got dressed and brushed my teeth. When I went back to my room Tucker was laying on my bed shirtless. I couldn’t help but stare at him while Addy was screaming in my head “I want him, I want him now!” “Addy shush you heard Alpha Jones we can’t have s*x while in the pack house.” I hissed at her. “So go outside” came her reply. Tucker sensing me looked up “Are you gonna stand there and stare again?” he asked laughing again. “Sorry fighting with Adison in my mind she uh...approves of the view.” I said blushing.

Tucker laughed and told me to come sit on the bed. I sat down and he started rubbing my shoulders and back then asked what Addy had to say. “She wanted you right then and there so when I reminded her that Alpha Jones said no s*x in the pack house she wanted me to take you outside.” I replied blushing even more. “I see,” Tucker said, still rubbing my back. I laid down finally ready to go to sleep when Tucker whispered lightly in my ear “next time Addy”. Then kissed my forehead then left my room.

ALPHA JONES’ POV

I left Ashlynn and Tucker to settle in with a big grin on my face. My wife and Luna opened my bedroom door just as I was about to go in. She took one look at my smile and she smiled. “What has made you so happy tonight? Usually you come to bed stressed and angry” She stated. “Zoe, my beautiful wife, I just got the most wonderful news.”

She waited for me to keep going so I started explaining. “You remember the prophecy of two werewolves unmated having a child that will end this pack war?” I asked her. “Hhhmmm, I think I remember you telling me that story, what does it mean though?” she asked. “We thought it meant a wolf was going to step outside of their mate and have an affair that produced a child. We were wrong. It refers to a pair of teens who’s humans weren’t mates. The wolves though are mates that produced a child. That child will have the powers to unite all the packs and even bring the rogues together” I simply replied.

Seeing Zoe’s reaction I knew she was trying to figure out how I knew this, but telling anyone including my mate about this precious miracle just yet could jeopardize Ashlynn’s pregnancy which is exactly what I don’t want to do. “Zoe, my beautiful Luna. I wish I could tell you more and even tell you how I know this but just trust me when I say the end of these wars are almost over.”

ASHLYNN’S POV

My alarm went off at 6:30 again signaling time for school. I got up looking around wondering “Where the hell am I?” Then the events of yesterday came flooding back. I honestly thought it was gonna all be a dream, but clearly I was wrong. I sat up and dropped my legs over the side of the bed letting my head clear a bit. Soon as I stood up I got really nauseous and ran to the bathroom.

I started throwing up my dinner from last night hoping beyond hope no one heard me. Unfortunately Tucker came in just as I wretched again. Within seconds he was beside me holding my hair and rubbing my back. “I was hoping I’d be one of those lucky women who skipped morning sickness but it doesn’t look like it,” I said in between hurls. Tucker laughed gently but grabbed a cold damp cloth and put it around my neck.

Once my nausea passed, I got dressed and ready for school. Tucker brought me some dry toast telling me to eat it, then grabbed my backpack and walked me down stairs. I sat in the living room while the others ate breakfast, then when Tucker was finished we headed to school. Tucker walked me to my first class and reminded me we're going to the mall after classes.
