Chapter one: the shadow pack Munas pov The leaves were shedding their leaves, the tress had changed from a lush green to an orange brown colour, autumn was nearing more rapidly, than expected, I watched the leaves fall down slowly, a bunch of birds were flying in the sky singing a kind of melody, that only one with the stiffest heart wouldn't wouldn't enjoy, A bunch, of girls walked up to me, I didn't even know them, ever since the alpha Drake picked me ribbe his Luna, a lot of girls had been flocking around me lately, “you are so lucky to be the alphas Luna" one of them said as they say down by me, now I had to force a smile even when I knew that it was not genuine. “yeah I am so lucky even though I am surprised, because I haven't morphed yet" I said “wait you sure?" Having a wolf spirit and not morphing are two different things entirely, not having a wolf spirit is when you wouldn't he able to morph ever while not morphing is just my condition, I haven't found one that I loved so I couldn't shift, but I have the spirit within me it's just that it hasn't come out yet. The useless chores around was always tossed to him, I actually kinda felt for him, but before I could keep watching him sweep Drake the alpha came in with two other guys with him, one of them Zerathos was purring on a bakck sleeveless leather jacket, with a design of multiple rhombuses sewed into it, he was wearing a black shirts and had a really long hair, The other guy victor had a lot of hair in his face, he wasn't as tall as the others but he was still equally good looking, with his spiky brown short hair, blue jeans and black shorts, “oh my God! He is here!' the ladies screamed as they approached us, “muna I can see that you have company that's good" Drake just said, as he walked away the ladies kept their eyes glued in the direction that he walked away from, “gosh he is so hot" they still kept in talking amongst themselves. Finally they were gone and I didn't even know where Drake was but that didn't bother me one but I wanted the peace and privacy, the brisk wind blew in the window making me want to know what the full amount of wind was going to feel like all over my body, so I got outside, enjoying the weather, as I looked up at the setting sun, the moon was already up in the sky displaying its glory, I closed my eyes enjoying the cold air, the weather felt like it was about to rain, my hair danced around going in every direction that the wind took it. Zane's pov The heap of leaves that I had gathered together into one huge like, was being blown about by the wind, I tried to hurry packing them into a bag but I wantfast enough all the work I had done since morning was being undone right before my very eyes, but I still tried to pack them, it would've been better if I had another pair of hands. I thought within me, though I knew that would never come, everyone hates me in the pack, my mom fell in love with a human, and that made me almost Human, that was my only crime being part human and having a human father, every job in the ckan that no one wants to do it is assigned to me, I can't complain at least I get paid to do it, thats how I was able to survive in this harsh reality. I saw another pair of hands helping me to put all the leaves into another bag, I was to curious as to see who would wanna help me, I looked at the person and my mind was blown away, her pink lip caught my attention first, she had and brown eyes and brown hair that framed her curved face, “looks like you could use a hand" she said as I just nodded slowly. She was the Luna to the alpha, “why would you help me?" I just found myself asking, “if you see someone who had been busting his ass since morning trying to organize something then layer in the evening time to organize them, they get blown about by the wind what do you do, would you just stand there and watch him knowing that he could use the help?" She answered my question with a question. It made me smile, also hearing the fact that she had been watching me all morning made me smile a bit, we were both packing leaves as the wind blew her scent into my nose, she smelled like pineapples, it waa very alluring, a drop of rain fell to the floor and we both saw it. She looked into my face, “weve got to hurry it's going to rain any minute" she said as I just nodded, we had almost rounded up when a bolt of lightning rocked the sky followed by a loud thunder sound, the rains has started to fall more rapidly now though at a low intensity, “maybe iu should leave the rest to me, go and seek shelter" before she could fully comprehend what I was saying the rains intensity increased and now we were in an open field devoid of people and buildings, I carried the rest of the leaves and tosses them inside the bag and carried both bags over my shoulder, “follow me my house is around here we could find shelter quickly;" I yelled because it was difficult to hear anything under the rain. She nodded her head as she followed me quickly as we took brisk strides towards my apartment, I tosses the bags into the part designated for dumping of refuse, the rain had soaked my baggy clothes they had started drilling water, she was wearing a simple jeans trouser and a white button up shirt, the rain, had soaked her shirt so much that her curves were all revealed, she was extremely curvy but it would be inappropriate if I kept my gaze at her so long so averted my eyes. “here that one" I pointed at a brown simple cottage it want fancy it was just a simple building of part wood part brick, the both of us got into the porch, she hugged herself signifying that she was cold, I opened the door and went in and she did the same, I didn't have a heater so I headed towards the fire place to get a fire going as she stood close to the door.
