CHAPTER 15 “I’m not real comfortable with how the trip is going.” Mykal stood in the center of the vestibule, the hearth burning hot behind him. He let his staff rest in the crook of an arm. It was early on the following morning. The sun was not only up, but visible in a blue sky. The storm must have finally passed. It was a blessing. They were headed outside soon.
