Chapter 28

Alice:

I said as I felt my heart break a little, “I will make this better for both of us and I will let you come. If you want to bring Jane along, I will allow it.” He said, “I will ask her but if I do then her brother will want to come too.” I said as I looked at my door, “That will be fine. I will let the guards know that I will allow two humans to come with you.” He said, “Okay.” I said before I hung up, “If he drops by again, tell him I will go see him as soon as I can.” I heard him chuckle before I hung up the phone. I walked to my door and opened it. Lux was kissing Angela and I said as I saw them, “Do that later kids.” Angela pushed away and her red face made me want to tease her more but Lux growled low at me when he lost contact with Angela. I smiled then said as I patted his back, “Don’t be a horny boy.” He growled again and I said, “Let’s go.” 

We made our way towards the stairs but stopped by my mother’s room to tell her we were going to train for a bit. She was glad to see us getting along and also told us that tomorrow was going to be the official day for Angela’s adoption since we're going to get a registry for her. I was happy to finally make it official since I was already so attached to her. I was extra happy as we made our way outside towards my personal training grounds. Angela and Lux were holding hands and I said as I looked at them, “Come on don’t be too lovey dovey around me. I miss my mate already.” Angela smiled then said as she walked up to me, “What are you going to teach us?” I smiled then said, “I will teach you how to kill.” She gulped and Lux walked up to me and pushed me slightly since I scared his mate. I smiled then said, “If you are not ready to kill then you will die.” She nodded and said, “I haven’t killed but I did fight once.” I smiled and said, “You’re so cute and innocent.” She looked at me confused but didn’t say anything else. 

We arrived at the training grounds and I saw a group of my former soldiers training. As soon as they saw me they quickly came up to me to salute me. I saluted them back and said, “How are you guys doing?” Jake, one of the captains, said, “We are keeping strong and training daily for your return.” I smiled then said as I pointed to Lux and Angela, “She is my sister Angela and her mate Lux, who also happens to be my son.” Everyone looked at him surprised and I added, “He’s my dragon son.” Lux smiled then walked away to show them his dragon form but before he changed I said, “Take off your clothes before you shred them.” He did as I said before he turned into his dragon form. Everyone looked at him amazed and I said, “I will be training these two starting today and if possible I want you guys to help me train him.” They nodded and Lux turned back. We made our way to the main training area and I said, “Captain Jake, I want you to teach Lux how to defend himself first.” He nodded and Lux frowned at me once he noticed that he was not going to train with us. I said to him, “They are better at training you, I will be gentle to your mate.” He nodded and he walked away with Jake. 

I grabbed Angela’s hand and said, “We have a special room to train since we are girls.” She nodded and followed me until we got to a room with matts. I walked in and said as I jumped on the matts, “This will ease some of the injuries but it will still hurt.” She nodded and I said, “Come on, let's begin.” She smiled and walked up to me. We spent all night training and by the time we were done the sun was already out. We were exhausted but we had a good workout. Lux had learned a lot of moves and according to Jake he was a fast learner. Angela had caught up pretty quick too but she was still hesitant about fighting me. We went back to the castle after we did a few laps around the grounds. We walked back to the castle in complete exhaustion and as we entered the castle Hanna said, “Do you guys want breakfast?” I was about to refuse when my stomach growled and we all laughed as we made our way to the dining room. We ate breakfast and then went to rest for a few hours.

Sebastian:

It had been a few weeks since the rogue attack and everything seemed to calm down. Everyone went back to doing their things and I was still supervising the training and security of Alpha John's pack, The Silver Moon Pack. Without noticing I had become very angry and it had gotten so bad that Klive and Jon had to talk to me because our warriors were become scared of me. I hated the thought that I was becoming someone else because I missed my mate. My wolf was constantly mad and I was furious that my mate didn't care enough to send me a message at least. I was suddenly pulled from my pity party by Laura saying, "Alpha Blackwood, we are going to the neighboring city and we wanted to know if you wanted to come with us?" I looked at her and saw Klive and Jon with a group of other she-wolves. I frowned but said as I saw Klive give me a sad look, "Sure." He looked at me surprised and I gave them a small smile before heading inside to change. I changed into black jeans, white polo and white vans. I grabbed by wallet and my phone before heading back to them. I had managed to change in less than 5 minutes and Klive said as I walked towards him, "You sure took your time?" I gave him a half-assed smile and said, "I think a distraction is what I need." He nodded and we got in the cars. 

Everyone was talking and saying how much they like this club called Club Divine. Apparently it is owned by vampires but it is a place for all supernatural to mingle. I found this interesting since there was a club in the human world called the same. I sighed as I remembered that when I was at that club I had gotten the hint of my mate but was not sure if it was her because a bunch of she-wolves kept our table surrounded. When I tried to look for her I couldn't find her. I smile as I begin to remember our first encounter and how confused she was that I was her mate. I was stuck my own memories when Klive said, "Hey, we're here." I looked at him and he said, "You seemed to be enjoying wherever you were and I didn't want to bother you but everyone is waiting." I smiled then said, "I went down memory lane and it was nice." He nodded as he gave me a sad smile and I got out of the car. 

We made our way to where everyone was waiting and I smiled as I saw the building. It was built exactly the same as the one in the human world. I chuckled and Klive smiled as he said, "You think you'll catch a scent of her?" I smiled then said, "I hope so." We walked in and immediately went to the an empty table. We all sat for a while talking and drinking then the girls went off to dance. I stayed seated and with a drink in my hand but I was not drinking much. I I kept looking around hoping that maybe I would bump in to my mate here but no such luck. It was getting very late and I felt uneasy so I sent a link to Jon and Klive, 'We need to go. I have a bad feeling.' As I had finished saying that a she-wolf walks up to me and says, "Aren't you Alpha Blackwood?" I looked at her and she smiled as she said, "My father, Alpha Darius of the Crescent Moon Pack, wants you to join our table." She points to a table and I say as I look towards them, "I'm sorry but I can't at the moment. I am with friends and I have been drinking so this meeting would not be courteous." She smiled then said, "Well, if you like we can arrange a visit with just you and I?" She got closer and I felt my body want to rip her apart for trying to get close to me but I said controlling my temper, "That is not prudent of me. You see I have a mate and I can't and won't do anything to hurt her." She looked at me surprised then said, "I see." She smiled then walked away. I looked at her suspiciously then Jon said, "We're all here. We can go now." I nodded and we made our way back to the cars.
