The Vampire Luna

Chapter 42

We walked inside and she showed me around as we walked toward the kitchen. When we walked in there were some women making food and I said, "Are they maids?" She shook her head then said, "Some are Omegas and other are widowed werewolves that don't want to fight." I said curiously, "What are Omegas?" She said, "They are werewolves that are weak but they have other use than to be warriors or anything that involves fighting." I said as I looked at them, "Everyone is able to fight in a way but I guess you all have your system." She smiled then said, "I guess you do have a point." One girl walked up to us and said, "Hello Alpha Laura, what would you and your guest like to drink?" I looked ta her and she said as she looked at me, "What do you want?" I smiled then said as I sniffed the air, "I'll have some lemonade." The girl smiled and I said, "You smell like cinnamon buns." She smiled and said, "I made some earlier, would you like one?" I nodded and Laura said, "I would have never thought you had a sweet tooth." I laughed as I said, "I don't but something about cinnamon buns makes me crave them whenever I smell them." She laughed and Sebastian said, "Should I be worried about you craving things?" I looked at him then said, "I don't think that is a craving." He smiled and Laura said, "Well, since we are going to have this snack before the ceremony, how about you get ready in my room with the other girls?" I smiled then said as I looked at Sebastian, "Is that okay, love?" He smiled then said, "Of course." We sat on the counter and I ate my cinnamon bun while Laura kept telling me about the ceremony.

When I was done we kissed our mates good bye until later and went to her room. As I walked in I saw 2 other girls and they were looking at hi curiously. I said a bit nervous, "Hi, my name is Alice, I'm Sebastian's mate." They all smiled and one said, "You are very beautiful and match Alpha Sebastian well." I smiled and the other girl said, "I think he could do better." I looked at her and the other two looked at her surprised. I smirked as I said, "I don't think he can do better than me." She rolled her eyes and I added, "Considering I'm a powerful vampire and merciless. He has it better than others." She glared at me but I just smiled at her. Laura said, "Calm down, Jenna. She is his mate and I would hate to get him angry." She sighed then said, "Fine." The other girl said as she extended her arm to me, "Hi, I'm Ellen, please forgive my little sister." I shook her hand and said, "I don't take those little things to heart." Jenna scoffed and rolled her eyes as she walked to the bed and sat down. I said as I grabbed my bag, "How long until the ceremony?" Lauren looked at her watch then said, "We have an hour and a half to get ready." I nodded my head then said, "You should start getting ready then." She nodded and Ellen said, "Come on, we need to do her hair." I looked at her then said, "I'm not good at doing those things." They all looked at me shocked and I said, "I'll be ready in a few minutes. Now, where's the bathroom?" Laura pointed to a door and I walked in with my bag. 

I got dressed quickly and let my hair down. I kept my sneakers on while I did a turn and found nothing off . I put light eye shadow and lipstick on then I was ready. I opened the door and they all turned to look at me. I froze when they all looked at me shocked again. I panicked and said, "Is this not good?" Ellen said, "Uhm..No. Actually you look very beautiful." I got flustered and said, "Uhm.. Thanks?" Laura said, "How did you do that?" I shrugged my shoulders and Ellen said, "You are in charge of her make up." I walked up to her and said, "I'll try." Jenna scoffed but didn't say anything. I grabbed the make up and placed it next to her face then I said, "What are you wearing?" Laura said as she pointed to a door, "My Luna gown is in that room." I walked to it and as I opened it I saw a beautiful off the shoulder white gown that was short in the front with a small train behind. I smiled then said, "Got your make up set." She smiled then I said, "I'll do it after you get in the gown." She and Ellen smiled then Laura said, "I'm getting dressed now." Ellen said as she let go of the last piece of her hair, "I'm done with your hair too." She got up and walked to the closet and went inside. She got out and was wearing the dress. I said as she sat down on her bed, "I think these colors suite you better." I placed light make up and neutral colors matching her beautiful olive skin and natural beauty. When I finished Ellen said, "Wow, you are so good at this." I shrugged then said, "I had a girl that used to make me do my make up and hers every time we went out." Ellen said, "Does your mate know you used to party a lot?" I smile as I said, "I'm pretty sure he partied a lot too." Jenna said, "I can attest to that." I looked at her then said, "Okay, now want to get out what's on your chest before you piss me off?" She glared at me then said, "I think he could have a better mate than you. You are a damn blood sucker that does not understand who we are and what we go through on a daily basis." I looked at her then said as I sat down on a chair, "I'm all ears. Please explain what it is I could not understand." She walked up to me and said, "You don't know what it feels to be hunted not only by hunters but by vampires too!" I got up and said, "Have vampires threatened you?" Laura said, "Not in a long time. A lot of werewolves are skeptical of vampires and don't like them as much as vampires don't like werewolves." I nodded then said, "If any vampire threatens any werewolf pack, let me know." Laura smiled as she said, "You seem to be a very kind person." I shook my head and said, "A law was passed when my father was in charge and it banned vampire form hunting any species. If they breach that law I will make sure they pay with it with their life." She gulped as she said, "You talk with a lot of authority." I looked away form her and said, "I help keep the law." Laura smirked then said, "I can see that."
