Chapter 34

Alice:

I bit my lip then said softly, "Why?" He sighed then said, "I want to see you but I also want you to see what an Alpha and Luna ceremony are." I smiled then said, "If I agree, where would I go?" He chuckled then said, "I am in a place called The Dark Forest." I smile and say, "That's near a place called Levux." He said, "Yes, that's correct." I smile and say, "Okay, but I have to take at least one escort." He sighed then said, "That's fair." I smile then say, "When is the ceremony?" He chuckled as he said, "I will confirm it and text you the date and time." I smiled and said, “I have to go back to training but I will call or text you later, okay?” He said as I heard him sigh again, “Okay, be careful and don’t forget that I love you.” I smiled and I said, “Be careful as well and I love you too.” I hung up hearing him sigh and I found myself feeling even more energized than before. I grabbed the rest of my gear  and made my way to the training grounds where General Sky was waiting for me.  

As I got to the training grounds I saw my guards but I also saw a lot of new faces. I walked up to Jake, who was talking to a group of soldiers and said, “Captain Jake, where is General Sky?” He turned to me and said as he saluted me, “Princess Alice, good afternoon. General Sky is waiting in your office.” I said as I looked around to see the new faces, “At ease, thank you for letting me know.” I smiled then said, “I might want to spar later, if you're up for it?” He smiled then said, “If you don’t hold back, I’m game.” I smiled then walked towards the main building and began my journey to my office.

I finally arrived at my office and I saw Sky sitting on a chair with a folder in his hands. I said as I walked in, “How are you today?” He got up quickly and saluted me as he said, “I am doing fine, Princess Alice.” I smiled then said as I closed the door, “At ease, we can save the formalities for when we are in public.” He relaxed then said, “I’m doing fine, Lady Alice.” I took a deep breath then said, “I’m guessing that in that folder you have the security details for the ceremony?” He nodded as he handed it to me. I said as I took it, “I’m also bringing James with us.” He said confusedly, “I thought he was with his human mate.” I smiled as I said, “I thought he would stay with her but it seems that he is going to bring her here to tell her who he really is.” He looked at me surprised then said, “I’m surprised you’re allowing it.” I sighed then said, “I personally know his mate and I know she is open minded about supernatural things but I’m not sure how she will react once she realizes that I have been hiding who I really am.” He laughs and says, “I have never seen you worried about something so trivial.” I smiled as I sighed and said, “She’s a little scary when she is lied to.” He laughs again and I ask with a smile, “Who have you chosen?” He smiles as he says, “I have all your favorite Captains coming.” I sighed then said as I opened the folder and looked through it, “I want this group to train with me, Angela and Lux until 2 days before we depart.” He says as he nods his head, “I have made a training schedule starting this evening, if you want to make any changes or add something to it feel free to do so.” I smile as I say, “I haven't trained in a while so I hope I haven’t lost my stamina.” He laughs as he says, “Knowing you, I’m pretty sure you have more stamina than any of us.” I laughed then said, “Let’s find out. I have to spar against Jake once our meeting is over.” He said as he laughed, “Please don’t hurt him too bad. He still has training to attend to later in the day.” I opened the door and we made our way outside again. I saw Jake giving orders to the soldiers and as soon as he saw me he yelled to them, “We will stop training for a bit.” I looked at him and Sky said, “Captain Jake, I hear you have a sparring match with Princess Alice?” He nods then says as he salutes us, “Yes, General Sky.” I say to Sky as I hand him the folder and begin to stretch, “Do you mind being the referee for this match?” He smiles and as he says, “With pleasure.” Jake says to the soldiers, “Make way for the match.” Everyone started to spread out and all the soldiers that he was training had made a circle around us but I saw how more began to gather and in a few minutes everyone that was training was either sitting or standing around waiting to see the match. I had stretched a bit and I said as I looked at Jake, “I don’t want you to hold back.” He nods and Sky adds, “In this match there will be no titles and the first to tap out loses.” We nod and Sky says as he looks at his watch, “Go to the center and wait for me to begin the match.” We walked to the middle of the circle and as we placed ourselves in our fighting stance Sky said, “Fight!” 

Jake quickly  attacked and I barely managed to dodge him. I try to keep up to him and dodge as much as I can as I wait for my moment to strike. I see my moment and I hit him right in the face. He covers his face and I use that moment to grab him from behind and flip him over. I quickly move before he tries to trip me but he manages to grab my ankle. I tumble to the ground but manage to use my hands to stop me from hitting my face. I kick him with my free foot but he is already on top of me trying to do a choke hold. As soon as I feel him adding pressure on my neck I use all my strength to get up with him and run backwards to a nearby tree. He tries to move but I hold on to him firmly and I hear the c***k from the tree trunk as his body hits the tree. Some of the soldiers that had been in my way were either moving to the sides or rolling away from us. I was about to do it again when I heard Sky say, “He’s already passed out.” I stopped moving and I felt him just resting on me, his body limp. I put him down quickly and began to examine him as I said, “Some one go get the medic.” A soldier quickly ran to the main building and returned in a minute with the medic.
