Alice:
I found 10 vampires and they were armed for a war. I slowly followed them trying to figure out what they were after until I saw Elder Richard walk up to them. I frowned and I felt my blood boil seeing him with them but I remained calm. I listened to what they were saying. Richard said with a smile, “Gentlemen, I’m so happy you managed to get here.” One man said as he shook Richard's hand, “I’m glad to see you. I was surprised when you requested our help.” Richard smiled then said, “I’m glad you agreed. I have waited for a long time for this. After I made sure that the Queen got ill, I made sure that the Princess did not know so I could do this before she showed up.” He said everything with a smile and I was enraged.
I jumped from my hiding place and I said as I landed in front of Richard, “I never really liked you.” His gaze was full of shock and fear. The leader quickly struck but I didn’t move and his sword hit my shoulder but instead of blood there was a loud clang. I smiled then grabbed my sword from inside my robe and cut the man down. I was not in the mood to fight with these nobodies but they kept charging at me. As I was fighting them the guards arrived and I said, “You can detain them, I’m going after their contractor.” General Sky said, “I will go with you.” I sighed then said, “If Elder Richard comes back, capture him and let me know.” They nodded and we began our search.
We made it to the half point when I noticed the scent of blood. I quickly made my way back and when I arrived I saw Richard fighting the other guards. I quickly attacked and everyone moved away from us. I had a fierce look and he was enjoying my anger. He laughed then said, “You haven’t been here for a while. You can’t beat me.” He began to attack me and I dodged all his moves. I waited for my chance and it came quicker that I expected. He began to slow down and I used this opportunity to finish him off. I cut his head off and his blood sprayed me and I was now covered with blood. Everyone looked at me with amazement and fear. I looked at one of the men and said, “What was your plan?” He glared at me and my patience was gone. My eyes turned crimson and I said to General Sky, “Take him back and place him in my torture chamber. I also want these men to stay here and guard the Gate.” He nodded and said, “Yes, Princess.” I gave the man a glare then I began to sprint to the castle.
Sebastian:
I woke up early the next day feeling off. My wolf was anxious and he kept asking me to go see our mate. I decided to call her to see if that would put me at ease. I got my phone and dialed her number but it went straight to voicemail. I got anxious and worried but decided that maybe she had it off at work. I got dressed and went down stairs to get breakfast. As I walked into the kitchen I saw Laura and a few other females making breakfast. She was on a counter cutting fruit while everyone else was making pancakes, eggs and bacon. I walked in and said, "Do you need help with anything?" They all gave me a quick glance but Laura said, "We are okay. You should go take a seat at the table. You have done more than enough for us and we want to show our appreciation to you and your pack for coming and rescuing us." The other women nodded in agreement so I gave then a smile as I walked to the dinning room.
I found Alpha John sitting there drinking coffee and looking out the window lost in thought. I walked up to him as I said, "Is everything okay, Alpha John?" He looked at me then said, "I'm not sure why we were attacked. We are a small pack and not strong." I rub my chin as I say, "I'm not sure why this happened but I will make the rogue we caught tell us what their plan was." He took a sip of his coffee as Jon walked up to us and said, "Good morning Alphas." I looked at him as John said, "Thank you for all the help Beta Jonathan. I hope Beta Alex helped you?" Jon nods as he says, "Yes, he was very helpful and because of our healer Brian, most of your warriors are no longer in critical condition." He lets out a long sigh as he says, "I feel like I am deeply indebted to you." I shake my head as I say, "We have a pact and I will help all my allies when they need me." He nods then says, "We should go interrogate the rouge." We get up as Laura walks in and says, "Breakfast is ready." We all look at her but she puts her head down as she walks away quickly. Jon has a hurt and confused look as he looks at me. I give him a nod and he begins to walk towards the dining room. We sit down to eat breakfast and once we are done I say, "Let's go find out if we get any answers." Alpha John nods as he gets up and Jon follows behind us quickly.
Alice:
I arrived at the castle within a few minutes and when I did I went straight to see my mother. I heard the whispers as I walked through the halls covered in blood. I was the talk of the whole castle and town within a few seconds. I found my mother in her room looking paler than usual. As soon as she saw me she said, “My beautiful daughter.” I ran to her then said, “Hello mother, how are you?” She smiled softly and said, “I got sick recently and I’m recovering at the moment.” I smiled then said to her aid, “Bring me everyone that is taking care of my mother as well as the cooks.” She nodded and left quickly.
I sat next to her and said, “I killed Elder Richard.” She gasped and I added, “He said he made sure you got sick and as soon as I find out who is making you sick I will kill them.” She sighed loudly but nodded her head. I gave her a smile then a kiss. She smiled at me sadly then said softly, “A few weeks ago I received an invitation for an Alpha Ceremony. I accepted and chose two Elders to go but Richard was against it.” I smiled then said, “I also have to tell you something but it will have to wait until you are well.” She smiled and said, “You found your mate.” I gave her a smile and she said, “You are shining brighter than any star could.” I nodded my head then said as my face turned serious, “We have to fix some things before we can negotiate.” She nodded and there was a knock on the door.
I got up and stood in front of my mothers bed. Her aid returned with about 20 people and she said, “We are all the people that are in charge of your mother’s health.” I looked at her and said, “I want everyone that works here to gather in the main hall.” She looked at me confused and I said to my mother, “Can you walk, mother?” She sat up but I heard her ragged breathing so I picked her up and placed her on a wheelchair that was in her room. I grabbed a blanket and covered her then said as I passed everyone, “Follow me.” Everyone followed me quietly and as I stood on the top of the stairs I looked down and saw a line of staff going into the main hall. I look at them and say as I make sure I memorize their faces, “Go there and be in the very front. I have an announcement to make.” They nod as they begin to go down the stairs. I turn to the elevator but then decide not to take it. I said to her aid, “Take the chair.” I pick my mother up and she takes the chair.
