The Vampire Luna

Chapter 19

Sebastian:

We got to the cells quickly and as we walked in I heard the rogue screaming, "You will all die!" I could feel my wolf stirring, he wanted to have a few minutes with that rogue. We walked towards his cell and as he saw us he grinned as he said, "You might have caught me but I will never reveal the plan." I smiled as I said to the guard, "Open the cell and close it behind me." He did as I said and as soon as I had entered the cell he locked it. The rogue was still grinning until I walked up to him and said, "How quickly do you want to die?" He gulped loudly as he said, "You won't hurt me. You want information only I have."  I smiled as I said, "If you wont give me any information I don't need you but I will make an attempt at getting information and you will not like it." He frowned then I began to c***k my knuckles. He looked at me suspiciously but he didn't think I was going to hurt him until my fist made contact with his face. He hit the wall and began to crawl away form me. I looked back and saw Alpha John glaring at the man while Jon just stood behind him talking with Brian. 

I looked at the rogue and he was curled up by the wall and I said again, "How much do you want to suffer before you tell me how quick you want to die?" He looked up at me and he said, "I can't betray them." I gave him a surprised look as I said, "Who are they?" He looked at me shocked that he had said something to me without realizing. He quickly put his head down as he said, "I will die soon." I looked at him confused when all of a sudden he started convulsing. Brian said as he walked closer, "Alpha Sebastian, lay him down or he will die." I quickly pushed him down and did as Brian said. The guard had opened the door and Brian was examining an unconscious man. 

After a few minutes Brian said, "It seems that this was a curse of some kind. He is physically well but whoever sent him here made sure that he couldn't say anything to us." I frowned then said, "How can we counter the curse?" Brian said, "I'm a healer not a warlock, Alpha Sebastian." I gave him a glare and he lowered his head. I sighed loudly then said, "I need to clear my head. Keep him alive until I figure something to break this curse." He nods as I walk away. I take a stroll through the now quiet land and I decide to call Alice again. I hear the ringing then her voicemail. I end the call and I am getting more upset about her not picking up my calls. I hate not being close to her but I have to help my ally before I return to her. I sigh loudly as I jog around before I return to the cell. 

Alice:

We get down quickly and as soon as I put her in the chair I make my way to the hall. Everyone is very quiet and I get to the front. I see all the staff there and I say, “Hello everyone.” They give a bow and I continue, “I have gathered you all here today because I have returned.” They bowed again but this time I said, “Please look at me intently while I give you a very important update.” All eyes are now on me and I look at each and everyone of them before saying, “Upon my arrival there was an attack which I stopped.” There were gasps but I continued, “Elder Richard was planning on taking over while I was away.” There were more gasps but this time I said with crimson eyes and my full vampire power, “He was making my mother sick.” There was shock in everyone's eyes and the whole room was quiet. I say as I feel my power fall upon all I had seen, “Who was poisoning my mother?” There were a lot of confused eyes and scared eyes looking everywhere. I smiled and said as I turned to my mother’s personal aid, “Who was it?” She was shaking with  fear but she managed to run. I smiled as I grabbed my sword and threw it at her. It pierced her left shoulder and the force made her get pinned to the wall. 

I jumped to where she was and I said as I got to her, “You thought you were going to get away with this?” She was sobbing and bleeding profusely. I pulled the sword then said as I grabbed her by the neck, “What else was he planning?” She shook her head before saying with pain and panic in her voice, “I don’t know. All I was supposed to do was give your mother small doses of Hemlock in her daily tea. She was supposed to stay like this until the transition was made.” I looked her in the eyes then said, “We are immune to all toxins and can cure them immediately, what exactly do you think long term exposure causes to a vampire?” Her eyes widened and I said as I looked at everyone else, “We are about to find out.” I look at her then say, “Where are you hiding it?” She sobs as she says, “I have mixed it into her tea canister.” I look around and say as I spot my former aid, “Hanna, make me a cup of my mother’s tea.” She nods and quickly leaves. I grab my mother’s aid and walk back to my mother. Her aid is shaking, begging me to forgive her and give her another chance. I drop her in front of my mother and say as I hold my sword to her neck, “I can not be moved to compassion.” She looks at my mother and says, “Forgive me, my Queen. Please give me an opportunity to make this right.” My mother’s eyes soften as she says, “I forgive you, Ashley.” Ashley smiles and says, “Thank you.” 

Hanna arrives with a pot of tea and a cup. I smile then say, “Now that you have the Queen’s forgiveness, you can rest easy.” She turns to me and I grab the cup. Her eyes widen as Hanna pours the tea and I smile. I place the cup to my lips and take a small sip then I say to Ashley, “Drink it all.” She shakes her head but her hands grab the cup. I look at her again and say, “You have to drink the whole teapot.” She begins to drink the cup she has in her hand. In a few minutes she has finished the whole teapot and is on the floor vomiting. I look at her then say to Hanna, “Take her to one of the dungeons.” She nods then drags her away. I look at all the staff and say, “I have demonstrated what I am capable of doing to anyone that tries to hurt my family. I recommend that you remember this day for the rest of your life if you want to preserve your life.” They all nodded and I said with a smile, “I will be in your care from now on. You may all resume your duties.” They bow and begin to make their way out.
