The Vampire Luna

Chapter 14

Sebastian:

As we walked to her car she was radiant. I could feel her joy and see that she was energized as she held my hand. I was a bit sad that I had to leave her after she had finally allowed me to get this close and intimate with her. She opened her door and I said, "Be careful and take good care until I see you later." She smiled then said, "You too." I got close to her and gave her a gentle sweet kiss before she left. 

As she drove off my phone rand. I picked up and said, "What's going on, Klive?" He said with a chuckle, "I hope you stay in that good mood while we are in the meeting today." I chuckle then say, "Were you calling me to remind me of the meeting?" He replies amused, "I was actually calling to see if you were okay. You usually don't stay out the whole night." I chuckle as I say, "I will be doing this for a while." He said with a serious tone, "Did you finally find your mate?" I let out a sigh as I said, "She is everything and more of what I hoped for." He said with joy, "Are you wooing our future Luna?" I laugh hearing his choice of words but say, "Yes." He laughs and says, "I wish you all the best and hope she quickly agrees." I sigh then say, "I hope so too." He says, "I have the everything ready to depart when you get here." I sigh realizing that I had to go to another territory and begin plans for a treaty. Klive said with a sigh, "You should hurry back before we get there late." I sigh then say as I walk to my car, "I need to be out of there as soon as possible." He chuckled as he said, "Hurry here and I can try to make that happen." I hang up and get in my car. 

I made it to the mansion quickly and Klive said as he jogged towards my car, "I thought you were going to take longer." I gave him a glare then said as I took a deep breath while remembering my beautiful mate, "Let's make this quick, I want to be back by 2 pm the latest." He grinned as he said, "I'll try to make this smooth and if need be I will handle any small details so you can leave." I nod then say, "You're the best, cousin and Beta." He does a bow as he smiles widely. I chuckle then we make our way to where Jonathan, my third and best fried was getting the rest of the guards ready. As soon as he saw me he said, "Where did you run off to yesterday?" I smiled and Klive said, "He finally found our Luna." Jonathan smiled and said, "Congratulations, man." He gives me a hug then says, "When will she be arriving?" I sigh loudly then say, "It's a bit complicated but hopefully she will be with me on the day of my Alpha Ceremony." They looked at each other worried but I just walked to the SUV and got in. They quickly followed and we began our journey.

We arrived to the meeting place in an hour and that made me a bit less irritated. We got out and were greeted by  Alpha John and his daughter, Laura. Alpha John says, "Alpha Sebastian, welcome to our humble territory." I give him a professional smile and say, "Thank you for agreeing to a treaty negotiation." We shake hands and he says, "I think this will benefit our small pack in the long run." I nod then he says, "My daughter Laura has turned of age and is looking for her mate, maybe she will find him within your pack." He points towards his daughter and she smiled at me shyly but I said, "You are welcome to go to my territory whenever you want to see if he is there." Her smile faltered hearing my cold response then I said, "If you don't mind Alpha John, can we go straight to the meeting?" He smiled then said, "Are you in a hurry?" I smile as I say, "I left someone very important to me alone and I want to get back to her." He smiled then said, "Congratulation, finding your mate is something very important." I nod then he begins to walk as he says, "Let's hurry up then." 

We spent all morning talking about benefits of making the peace treaty with us and what their duties would be as our allies. We had lunch at noon and while we ate a lot of unmated females were there. I found this annoying but Alpha John told them to stay away form me since I had found my mate. I was a bit grateful but his daughter seemed to want to defy him. She kept trying to flirt with me but Klive was very good at blocking her. Once we finished our meeting it was just about to be 2 pm and we had all the documentation signed. We said our farewell but I still had to come back and help train his warriors to help them become stronger. 

As we got in the car Klive said, "Alpha John's daughter didn't get the hint." I chuckle as I say, "If she doesn't get it then I will have to show her my mark soon." Klive laughed as he said, "Aren't you confident." I laugh then say, "I feel like she will agree to coming back with me soon." He pats my pack as he says, "I'm glad you found her. I hope I find mine soon." I look back towards him as I say, "Hopefully soon." Jonathan said jokingly, "I think it best if you first keep your pants on when ever you see an unmated she-wolf." I began to laugh loudly along with the other guards and Klive said, "Damn Jon, be cool." I said as I took a deep breath, "He has a point." Klive said as he rolled his eyes, "I doubt she will be waiting for me." I felt a sting remembering that man my mate had slept with. I said, "No matter how much you tell yourself that you won't care it will still hurt." He looked at me sympathetically and nodded. The car ride was quiet except for hearing the news on the radio. 

As soon as we arrived back to the pack I quickly went to my room to take a shower and change into something clean. Jon and Klive were by my car as I walked towards it. Klive said, "I know you are in a hurry but I suggest you go pick up the stuff we just ordered." I looked at them puzzled then Jon said, "I placed an order to the local flower shop and they are making a small bouquet and they will also have a giant bear." I looked at them surprised then Klive said, "I hope you get her soon." I felt happy to know that they wanted to meet their Luna already. I smiled as I said, "Thanks, I was actually about to go look for something to get her." Jon said with a smile, "The shop will have them ready at 3:30 pm so hurry up before you're late." I nod then get in my car. 

I was a bit late to the shop but as soon as I gave them my name they had everything ready for me. I quickly made my way to Alice's apartment when my father called me. "Hey dad, is everything okay?" He says, "I'm guessing that you and Alice have become an item?" I smile as I say, "I think she feels the mate pull." He chuckles as he says, "I hope you two get together soon, I want grandchildren." I chuckle as I say, "I hope we can have pups soon but I have to talk to her about that too." My dad laughs then says, "Good luck, my boy." He hangs up and I make my way to her job. As soon as I get there I sign in and make my way to my grandmother's room. I can smell my mate's faint scent and as I open the door my grandmother says, "You just missed her." I sighed then said, "I will go see her later. How are you?" She smiles then says, "I'm happy you found your mate and that she is so kind." I feel pride hearing my grandmother praising my mate then say, "Thanks, grandma. It means the world to me knowing you like her as much as I do." She sighs then says, "Your mother would have loved her too." I smile again and say, "I wish they could have met." She says, "I'm pretty sure she somehow managed to make the two of you meet now." I nod then say as I look at my watch, "I'm going to go. I don't want to be late to dinner with her." My grandmother hugs me as she says, "Go get your mate." I nod as I leave.
