Chapter 16

Alice:

I went to work as usual but Jane and Derrick had a little farewell party. I went to see Mrs. Brown and as I entered she smiled then said, “Today is your last day.” I nodded then said as I sat next to her, “I fell in love with him.” She smiled then said sadly, “I sort of figured that out when you were smelling like him.” I blushed then said sadly, “I didn’t have the courage to tell him I was leaving.” She sighed then said, “I hope he’ll be okay.” I hand her a letter and say, “If he comes to see you after I leave I will leave this for you to give him.” She nodded and I added, “I will make sure that pact is made with his pack. I will also agree to the marriage.” She smiled then said, “You are going to make a lot of changes.” I smiled then said, “I think that was the reason he was chosen to be my mate, to help make me change my view on the old ways.” She smiled then said, “I wish I could have met you sooner.” I smiled then said, “This was our fate.” We say our farewells then I leave. 

I arrived at my apartment and found James standing in front of my door. I go up to him then say, “Did you bring your stuff?” He sighed then said, “Not yet. I wanted to help you pack.” I smiled then said sadly, “If he comes here I want you to give him my new number.” He nods then says, “I would have told him my true identity.” I smiled then said, “As a werewolf and my mate I don’t think that would have been the best idea. A lot of the Elders are against werewolves and if any of them find out they would try to kill him.” He sighed loudly but he knew what I was saying was true. I added, “I will slowly begin to change the minds of those old vampires and I will also arrange a marriage for us.” James looked at me surprised then said with a smile, “He really changed your mind.” I smiled then said, “I fell in love with him.” He smiled then said, “I’m glad you have found your mate too.” I smiled then we got to work.  I packed a bag and he put the rest of my stuff in boxes. I left as soon as I could before regret took over me. 

Sebastian:

I left Alice feeling very sad and angry over the fact that our time together was being put on pause. I arrived to the  mansion and found Jon waiting for me. As I walked up to him he said, "Klive will be helping your father and I will be assisting you for this matter." I nodded then said, "I'm going to kill all the rogues that attacked them." He smiled as he said, "If we help them and wrap this up quickly then you can go back to our Luna." I smile and say, "I couldn't have said it better myself." He nods then opens my door. I get in and he gets in the drivers seat. As soon as we begin to make our way to Alpha John's territory a few more SUVs follow and I know my warriors are ready to fight and help our allies." 

We arrive to Alpha John's territory and it was very quiet. I said as I looked outside, "Stop." Jon did as I said and I got out. Some of my warriors got out and walked up to me as my lead warrior said, "Alpha Sebastian, I think some of us should turn and guard the vehicles as we go deeper." I nod then say, "Just what I was thinking. Make sure you have a good perimeter and if there are any injured allies let me know and I will have a vehicle sent to you to help them." He nods and then begins to make a group for the perimeter sweep. I felt uneasy like there was something I was missing but I couldn't pin point what it was.

Jon said as he rolled the window down, "I think there is something wrong here." I nod as I say, "I feel it too but I don't want to jump to conclusions yet." He nods as my lead warrior Mike says, "I have the scouts ready." I nod then he gives the signal as they all transform. I get in the car again and we make our way to the pack house. As we arrived I saw some warriors scattered around the pack house area. I look at Jon and he looks at me worried. We quickly park our vehicles and get out. The stench of fresh blood is strong and we all changed quickly and I begin to give orders. Jon was the only one that did not change and he walked to the pack house. He opened the door carefully and I walked behind him and 3 other warriors followed. He said as he entered, "Alpha John, we are here to help. Alpha Sebastian Blackwood is here and I am his Third Jonathan, if you are here please come out." We heard no movement but as he walked in I heard a low growl. I walked in front of Jon and I saw a wolf walk up to us. I looked at him then I realized it was Alpha John. He was in bad shape and was bleeding a lot. I turned and said as I raised my hands, "Alpha John, it's me Alpha Sebastian. We were here a few days ago training the warriors."  He walked up to me and examined me to make sure it was me before he turned. He said as he fell to the floor, "They took my daughter and a few other she-wolves. I managed to save some of the women and children but most of my warriors are dead." I frowned then said, "Where are your warrior?" He began to give me directions and I linked my scouts and they began to make their way towards them. 

I helped Alpha John sit down then I said to one of my warriors, "Brian, go check on the rest of the pack that are in the basement. Make sure they are okay and if any of them are injured begin healing them." He nodded and Jon said, "I will go help him and report back to you." I nod and they leave. Alpha John says, "I wasn't sure when you would arrive."  I sigh as I say, "I made a pact with you and I will keep it." He smiles faintly as he says, "I hope they get her back." I felt his worry for his only child and his only heir. I said as I looked around, "Where are there any spare clothes?" He points to a door and I walked to it and opened it. I grabbed a pair of short and put them on. I gave him some and as he was putting them on Jon returned with Brian. I looked ta them expectantly as Jon said, "No one is injured." I nod then I heard a low howl. I got up and said to the warriors, "Stay here and keep them safe." They nodded while Jon and I ran outside. We got undressed and took the short in our mouths as we ran towards the battlefield.
