Chapter 32

Alice:

I had only slept 3 hours but I didn’t want to sleep anymore. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I got dressed in gym clothes and went out for a run. I was deep in the woods when I suddenly felt someone use my powers. I stopped and closed my eyes. I saw a room splattered with blood and I saw bodies. I saw how the person that I was seeing through ran away from there and began to cry bitterly. I sighed then said softly, “Calm down and come to the castle.” He looked around startled but once he realized it was me he quickly looked around and he started running again. I ran to the main gate and I said as I got there, “Hey everyone.” The guards got up and saluted me but I said, “I’m waiting on someone.” They looked at me confused but said nothing. I waited for about 15 minutes before I saw him running towards the gate. I said as he got closer, “Open the gate and let him in.” They did as I said and I caught him as his legs gave out from running non stop. I handed him my bottle of water and said, “Drink slowly or you will choke.” He nodded and began to drink it. 

Once he finished he took a deep breath before saying, “Thank you.” He began to cry again and I said softly, “What happened?” He sniffled as he said, “My father is a cruel person and he was using me to keep tabs on all his targets. He took my tongue so if I was ever caught I wouldn’t say who he was. He killed my mother today because she didn’t want my father to send me to some very bad people and when he did my body reacted and I killed him.” I sighed then said as I hugged him, “I’m sorry to hear about your mother’s passing but I can assure you that you did nothing wrong. My blood reacted on it’s own upon your feelings.” He was sobbing again and I said to one of the guards as I felt his body give out, “Can you help me bring him to the castle?” The guard nodded and quickly picked him up. He looked surprised when he picked him up then said, “He is very light for a male.” I sighed then said, “I could feel that too.” I took him to one of the guest rooms we have and I called our personal doctor.

Sebastian:

After I took a shower I went to see Laura and Jon. As I walked into the dinning room I saw Laura and Jon talking quietly about something. I cleared my throat as I walked up to them and they looked at me and Laura smiled as she said, "Sorry about yesterday." I shake my head then said, "Do you two have a minute to talk?" Laura looked at Jon then said, "Of course. Let's go to my office." I nod and they get up. We entered the office and I say as soon as I close the door, "Do you two have an idea what I want to talk about?" Jon said as I turned to them, "About the Luna and Alpha ceremony." I smile then say, "You two being mates is good for the pack." He looked at Laura then said, "I don't want to rush her." She looked at him then said as she blushed, "I have been waiting to fully complete the mating and marking bond but if you want to wait more that's fine." I felt sick seeing them so loving towards each other while I felt jealous because I don't have my mate with me. Jon smiled then said, "I guess we are ready then?" She nodded and I gave them a small smile but before I could say anything my phone rang. 

I looked at the caller ID but it was an unregistered number that I didn't know. I picked up feeling anxious and said, "Hello?" There was silence for a few second then the most beautiful voice said, "Hi." I felt my heart skip a beat and my wolf howled with joy. I looked towards Laura and Jon as I said, "I have to take this call." They nodded but I saw the smile on Jon. I knew saw my sudden mood change but decided not to say anything. 

I walked out and as I said as I closed the door, "Where are you?" I heard her joy as she said, “I had to return home but I will go see you as soon as I can.” I stayed silent then she added, “Well, that’s if you still want me around.” I sighed feeling my heart ache then said, “You could have told me that you had to go.” She sighed then said, “It was difficult for me to leave you as it was. If I had told you then I don’t think I would have been able to return.” I sighed then said, “Did your friend tell you what I said?” She sighed again then said, “Yes.” I said, “My father is going to propose a marriage pact with the Princess of the Vampires and I will have to marry her.” She said softly, “If it is good for your people I understand.” I let out a growl then said, “Why would you let me go so easily?!!” She said softly, “If you want I will try to speak to her but I don’t know what she will say to me.” I said, very upset, “You should have been with me since we first met.” She said sadly, “I’m sorry.” She hung up the phone and I was baffled. She had called me and all we did was argue. I tried calling her but she didn't pick up. I returned to the office feeling angry, hurt and lost. As I knocked on the door I took a deep breath and noticed there was no one in the office. It was empty and their scent was faint. I walked back to my room and put on gym clothes then made my way to the gym.
