It was the day of Alpha Jake birthday when all the powerful Alpha's would be in attendance. Everyone in the blood pack could be in attendance for the party except me because I was stuck being the cook and the server for the entire event. My name is Selene, and I was sold to the blood pack by my uncle to save the life of his family. Living with my uncle, it was living hell they locked me in the basement, strict me from eating food and his daughter my cousin would do evil things and frame me so I would be beaten. "Hey, wake up from your day dreaming and get back to work," said Kelly. She was the strongest in the blood pack , and Alpha Jake's admired "if you think that for a second that Alpha Jake would love a wolf-less b***h as you keep dreaming, he will love me and only me" she sprouted, at that moment I just wanted to slap the taste out of her mouth but I just ignore cause I know I couldn't win. It was time for the party, and the guests started coming in. I started serving drinks and appetizers to the guests while Alpha Jake and Kelly were welcoming the guests. "Oh my God, he is here," shouted Kelly from the crowd. All the other Alpha's started talking as everyone drew closer to get a look at the mysterious person. As I was serving Alpha Caleb just to make a fuss, Kelly passed and bumped into me, causing the wine to spill all over her dress before I could say sorry she slapped me across my face "look what you did she wolf-less orphan you ruined my dress are you trying to make me look bad, do you think your the centre of attention let me make this clear Alpha Jake only wants me and me alone to be his Luna he doesn't love you not even your family wants you nobody wants you" everyone started laughing at me while I stood there holding my face tears running down my eyes " Kelly I am sorry I didn't mean to you bumped into you" I said to her calmly " so your saying I did this to my own self" she shouted trying to embarrass me in front of everyone. I got so angry and turned to run away, but before I could, Kelly knocked me to the ground " your pay for this you little b***h" she shouted in rage. She demanded the guards to hold me down while she poured wine all over me she grabbed my hair while shouting "come here u wolf-less b***h I am going to let u pay for this" I started to cry screaming "let me go, somebody help me" but to my surprise no one helped all they did was stand there and laugh, "what was I thinking no one would want to help a lowly servant" I said to myself. " What is going on over here?" shouted Alpha Jake, I was released by Kelly, left on the floor with my head down, tears running down my face all messed up with wine and a torn dress. "Selene, what the hell do you think you are doing?" shouted Alpha Jake as I turned and looked up to him right next to him. Stand a tall, handsome man, have dark hair, laid back, dark eyes, and face all firm as if he was ready to attack it was none other that Alpha Nate of the white light moon pack. He stretch out his hand to me "here let me give you a hand. Are you ok?" he asked, I could not answer because I was lost in his handsome face and dark eyes. As I got up, I looked straight into his eyes "uh thank you, Alpha Nate, I am fine" “Take your hands off our esteemed guest before you get dirt all over him” shouted Alpha Jake grabbing me by the arm, “your always causing problem and embarrassing the pack. I smiled and shake my head then I snapped “I am always causing you and the pack trouble, what about the trouble this pack has cause me over the years uh? Anything I do I am always wrong but Kelly do anything and she is always right”. I pulled away from his grip he look led at me in shock then he snapped with a rage flowing from him body “do you think anyone wants you Selene without the blood pack you are not, your uncle sold you to me just to save his ass and I took you in and gave you a home you ungrateful wolf-less b***h”. I looked at him with disgust in my eyes filled with rage “so let me go, let me be I can survive on my own I don’t need your pack or your hand outs living on the streets is way better than living here with you” I shouted. He looked and me with no regrets “fine you want to leave let’s see how you survive without me”, he stretched out his hand towards me and said “I Alpha Jake of the blood pack hereby reject you Selene of the blood pack” with tears in eyes I lifted my hands towards him and said “I Selene of the blood pack hereby accepts Alpha Jake’s rejection and also cut ties with the blood pack”, as soon as I see the bond between us broke I turned without another word and left to go pack my things. Alpha Jake was left shocked because he never expected the little obedient servant he had would become so bold and leave. As I walked pass Alpha Nate I felt a sense of peace towards but I ignored because I just wanted to leave this hell hole. “What did I just felt is that a bond?” Alpha Nate said to his self “she is our fated mate and you need to go after her before she gets away again” Alpha Nate inner wolf said “no but this can’t be she has no wolf how could she be my fated mate? Could she be the one to break the curse?” he replied to his wolf “what are you standing there for go get our fated mate our Luna, if she leaves we are doomed” reply his wolf. As I am up stairs packing Kelly burst into my room “well look who it is the wolf-less orphan that was rejected, let me tell you this when you don’t you ever think of coming back to our pack because by then I will be Luna”, I smiled and shake my head ignoring every word she is saying “Hey b***h did u hear what I said?” as she raised her hand to slap me I heard some shouted “don’t put your filthy hands on her” I looked up and realize it was Alpha Nate walking towards me, he grabbed Kelly by her hand and shoved her aside “you put your hands on her and I promise you will never use them again” so scared by his words Kelly turned and left furious. I looked at him with a sense of peace and security. "Why do I feel so much at ease when he is around?" I whisper to myself. Suddenly, I saw a golden light waiver around us, "Oh no, could he be my fated mate impossible we just met for the first time?" he stared deep into my eyes, and then he said, "I think you are my fated mate."
