My father looked at me on my eighteenth birthday and handed my fated mate to my younger sister. Why? Because I was thick, loud, and too feral to be the perfect, obedient Luna he wanted. When Damian rejected me in front of the entire Cade pack, they expected me to break.Instead, I laughed, stripped off their suffocating white dress, and walked out into the desert. I spent four years surviving as a Nomad. No pack. No Alpha. Just me, my Harley, and a wolf that refused to be tamed. Then I rolled into Silver Hollow and right into Kai Morrison. He’s the brutal, cold-blooded Alpha of the Ironwolf MC, a man whose wolf has been dead inside for five years.Until me. The mate bond hit us like a goddamn explosion.Kai wants to claim me, protect me, and worship every single curve on my body. But I refuse to let another Alpha have the power to destroy me.Now, my toxic family has realized the "trash" they threw away is the only one who can save their dying territory. My father wants to sell me. My sister wants me dead. And a sadistic rogue Alpha wants me as his trophy. They all think I’m just a broken, unwanted girl they can easily control. They’re about to find out exactly what happens when you corner a Dire Wolf. They want me to submit? They’ll have to bow for their plus-size biker Luna first.

The Unwanted
Raven's POV When Damien rejected me, he didn't even look at me. He was too busy tracing his fingers against the lace of my sister's thong through her silk dress, right in front of me…right in front of the entire goddamn pack. The white dress they forced me into was literally so deep into my skin like razor wire. And the seams stretched deep across my thick thighs, digging into my heavy hips and I was very sure this would leave permanent marks by tomorrow. My chest was actually spilling out of the cheap fabric, and I could hear every single one of them whispering, ignoring the fact that I was standing right there. “Just look at the way she's spilling out of that dress. Gross” My wolf, weak from wolfsbane that had been pumped into my food for years, actually stirred under my skin. She was clawing, growling, so desperate to s**t, to break free from this curse, but unfortunately, the poison was too potent, it made her sluggish. And made me nauseous too. My palms were sweaty and I had to wipe them on my dress and I promise I could actually feel the silver in my blood burning hot. Just then, a pack elder behind me snickered. “Tsk…she looks like stuffed cow” Stuffed cow? I'll rip your f*****g throat out while you moo. But I actually didn't say that out loud. Well, I couldn't. Now when my father, Alistair, was standing right beside me and I could feel his hand gripping my arm so hard it could draw blood. I could feel his fingers digging deep into the soft flesh under my bicep, and when I tried to break free and take a step towards Damien, towards the mate bond that I could feel, flickering in my chest like a dying match, he suddenly jerked me back so hard, I almost fell. “Hey! Stand still, you fat f*****g b***h” he snarled in my ear, his breath rancid and hot. “Try not to embarrass me more than you already have” I wanted to yell at the top of my lungs. I wanted to shift right here, right now and tear through every single one of them. But unfortunately, my wolf was barely conscious and my body was trembling so hard, I couldn't even form a proper thought behind those glares. Finally, Damien c****d his head up and looked at me. Well, he actually didn't. His eyes glanced right past me, then landed on someone behind me. On Sienna, actually, my own f*****g sister. She was standing there in that perfect silk dress that fits her slender frame, her blonde hair was perfect, her smile so fake and smug I actually wanted to rip it off her f*****g face. I could feel the mate bond spark between me and Damien once again. Then, followed by that little flicker of hope that made my heart skip a beat and my breath caught in my throat. For just one tiny second, I actually thought that maybe…maybe he would see me…maybe, he would feel what I felt. But, he scrunched up his face and sneezed as though he had just smelled trash. “Disgusting, I'm not actually touching that” Damien said out loud for everyone in the pack hall to hear. “She's…she's built like a f*****g pig” The pack burst into laughter, and I could hear the sounds bouncing off the walls and crashing right into my ears until I thought my head would explode. “Da…Damian?” I muttered, my voice coming out quiet, I almost didn't recognise it. “But..but the bond…” His laughter cut me off. “Gross. I f*****g reject you, Rav. I would rather go rogue and insane than get in bed with you. Come here, Sienna” His words made me feel like I wasn't a person, but a piece of trash he tossed into the garbage. He just walked past me, grabbed my sister's waist and pulled her against his chest in one fluid motion. I watched as Sienna did this little fake gasp, then pressed her hands over her mouth as though she was surprised. As though she wasn't wearing his jacket at breakfast, like I didn't walk in on them three weeks ago making out in the supply closet. “I…I'm sorry, Rav!” She pouted, but it sounded so fake. “I..I didn't know Damien felt this way about me, honestly!” “You didn't know?” I scoffed at the ridiculousness. “You're literally covered in his scent, Sienna” Her eyes twitched just for a split second. Then that perfect little smile crept back on her face as she looked up at Damien like he had just hung the damn moon. “She's having another episode!” Alistair ordered and my blood ran cold almost immediately. “Someone get the f*****g leash!” Goddess. That silver leash again. That same one they always used on me when I was seven. After my wolf first tried to shift and accidentally destroyed the dining hall. I remembered how they held me down and wrapped that leash around my neck until I finally stopped fighting, until I went limp and obedient and learned that being different meant getting punished. And now, they were going to do that same thing again. This time in front of the whole pack, in front of Sienna and Damian that already thought I was a monster. But, something inside me suddenly snapped. It wasn't broken or sad. It was unhinged and loud and so f*****g satisfying I couldn't help but actually laugh. Not a little chuckle or a sob. A real, feral, unhinged laugh that came from somewhere deep in my chest and then ripped its way out of my throat as though a demon had escaped hell. The pack hall went dead quiet, everyone was staring at me like I had suddenly grown a second head. Alister's face went pale, then this deathly colour of red. “Put the lash on or I'll f*****g chain you go the floor!” My hands were shaking as I reached down, grabbed the hem of the white dress and tore it straight through the middle. The seams ripped like paper, then, I stopped out of the ruined dress, wearing nothing but my combat boots and black lace underwear. The pack gasped and I heard someone shriek behind me. But at this moment, I didn't give a s**t. I grabbed my leather jacket from the nearest chair and slung it over my shoulder, the cold leather touching my bare skin. “Hey dad, keep the dress” I smirked, wiping the blood from my lips where I had bitten down too hard earlier. “Sienna can use it to wipe her f*****g fake tears” Sienna's face turned bright red and Damian's jaw clenched tightly. Alister looked like he was about to have a stroke any second from now. I spun to Sienna and Damian, then gave them my biggest, most unhinged grin and bowed slightly. “You two deserve each other. Enjoy your stupid little perfect prison” Then, I walked away. I didn't run or cry, just walked off as though I owned the damn place, my boots echoing against the marble floors as I made my way to the heavy double doors. I could hear the pack starting to buzz with chaos and whispers, my father screaming like a psychopath behind me, but I didn't look back…not once. The doors were massive, carved with the Cade pack crest, and I kicked them open with both feet. The freezing Arizona desert night hit me like a slap, the wind whipping across my bare legs and making my skin prickle with goosebumps. But I didn't stop. I walked down the stone steps, across the gravel driveway, and out onto the dark, empty highway. I had nothing. No keys, no money, no phone. Just my boots and my jacket and the burning rage in my chest that was keeping me alive. The sounds of the party started back up behind me, they were already celebrating my sister, probably popping champagne and dancing on the grave of my dignity. I didn't look back. I just started walking toward the highway, letting the freezing wind hit my bare legs and numb me from the outside in. I made it exactly one mile before the black van swerved off the asphalt, cutting off my path. The headlights blinded me, and I threw my arm up to shield my eyes, my heart hammering against my ribs. The side door slid open with a loud screech. The scent of ozone, gasoline, and rotting blood hit me all at once, so thick I almost gagged. “Well, well,” a voice rasped from the darkness inside. “Look what the Cade pack threw away.”
