Lexi tossed and turned in the huge bed that Seren had offered. They had eaten and Seren provided Lexi with some clothes plus shoes before she showered, Lexi had never been so grateful. She washed the blood away and only found small scratches. She was exhausted and throughout their dinner she had yawned, her head dropping every now and again making Seren laugh. Both girls had talked about everything and anything apart from their troubles, their real problems. That topic was completely off the table. Neither wanting to test whether the other was trust worthy or willing to listen to the others story.
Not tonight.
That could wait until tomorrow. Tonight they were just content. Seren happy she finally had some company and Lexi relaxed that she had a place to rest, even if it was for just on
