Seren continued to growl low and menacing. Lexi searched the alleyway for a safe place to stash Tilly, who clawed for freedom. Lexi guessed she sensed her anxiety and didn't want to be left behind. She noticed a metal pipe that was loosely fitted to the wall. She put Tilly in an abandoned box and ripped the pipe end clean off the wall. She took one more look at the little cub who chuffed in annoyance at the box. She smiled down, hoping this wasn't the last time she would see the little furry cub.
