Kaelen's POV
I exited the room, eyes fixed on the pills in my hand. They had a strong smell, even my tongue, without having it in my mouth, could taste it.
Returning to my room, I searched the drawers, but nothing was there. I pulled out my boxes, suitcases, nothing.
It had to be somewhere around here. “My lady,” Hazel called, walking over. “Do you need something?”
I glanced at her before returning to searching. “My medication.”
“It's over here,” she said, taking it out of a bag.
I grabbed it, spilled out the pills in it onto my palm, then grabbed the pills I had gotten from Alpha Asher, and my knees gave out.
“This would help you,” Matteo's voice came to mind.
“I promise it'll be over once we have a baby.”
“Corvina got the doctor. I'm not sure what we could do without her.”
