Life is not always a cup of tea like I have thought, but it has also taught me that struggle and pain makes you stronger day by day. I have achieved a lot in my life yet the feeling of missing someone still there somewhere in a little corner of my heart. I am happy with my achievements as the head warrior of the Red Crescent Pack and also as a successful businesswoman by opening my own modeling agency. I used to be a miserable girl but with the help of my pack, I have defeated all the odds in the path of my success.

After losing my mother it was not easy for me to move on. Also, seeing my mother being betrayed from that one person who was supposed to love her the most has made me understand that love is not real. Yes, I don’t believe in love anymore because I have only received pain by loving someone and that’s why I have vowed to never fall in love again. I am very happy with my career and that’s the only thing that is keeping me alive.

There were times when I used to get bullied because of my appearance as I wasn't very good at maintaining my figure and would gain weight from time to time. One time I even tried to take my life by cutting the nerves of my wrist but before I could do that Amanda came to our shared bedroom and saved me. That day, I got a lot of scolding from my uncle and other pack members. But they also made me understand that I didn't need to worry about what others think. They made me promise that I would never try to do the same mistake and be a reasonable person.

That's why I have decided to become a model and to show everyone that if we try harder we can become the best in everything. Although I have lost a lot of weight because of my profession, it does't mean that I can’t cheat sometimes. Because a girl gotta eat the way she wants after all.

I have also decided to hire plus-size models under my company because I don’t want anyone to go through the humiliation I have to size through. So I try to help them by assuring them that it’s their body and they can do anything with it. Currently, two of my plus-size models are rocking the famous magazine covers with their sexiness.

''Ma'am are you done? They are waiting for you.'' Sienna, my assistant informs while walking inside my cabin. She is not only my assistant but also my friend whom I love dearly. Although she is only twenty years old, her intelligence can beat any older person than her.

''Yes, Sienna I am ready. But how many times I have to tell you that stop calling me ma'am, you are my friend so don't be so formal with me. It makes me feel so old.'' I reply with a pout.

But instead of answering my question, she starts laughing. What the hell??

''Oh my goodness Madi. You know that I like to be professional in the office so you don't have to pout at me for these silly things.'' She lets out while laughing.

''No it's not a silly thing, I am not going to talk to you or listen to you if you don't stop calling me ma'am. Got it?'' I order her with mock anger.

''Ok, ma'am. Oops sorry Madi.'' She remarks with a mischievous smile.

Today my beat friend Amanda Brooks finally getting married to her mate Merrick who is the beta of the Blue Moon Pack. Although I don't believe in the concept of mate but I really happy for my bestie who is more like a sister to me.

Amanda has been my best friend since I have come to the Red Crescent Pack eleven years ago. My uncle Nicholas who is also the younger brother of my late mother has adopted me and now I am a permanent member of this pack.

I have worn a Burgundy color-fitted satin midi dress. Elegantly bias cut, the softly draped cowl neckline and figure-slimming slip dress silhouette make the perfect dress for any occasion. The skirt flows to a midi length and features a sexy high split at the side to show off some leg. Delicate tie-fastening straps allow for a customized fit which my designer has done to my liking. For earrings, I have chosen to wear a pair of love knot diamond stud earrings and for shoes, I have opted to wear my white platform ankle strap block heels which I think will look good with the dress.

Although I am not a big fan of bright makeup but I think a little makeup looks good on me. So I have put a little bit of foundation and concealer to hide the little blemishes I have on my face. For my eye makeup, I have decided to keep very simple with a gold brownish eye shadow on the lids and a single coat of mascara on the lashes. I have applied a peach color glossy lipstick on my lips and curled the ends of my long hair to complete the look.

Sienna and I walk out of my bedroom to join others outside the packhouse. I was supposed to go with Amanda but then I got an important video call which I couldn't miss. So, yeah now I will surely going to get a scolding from my bestie.

The venue of the party is Julia morgan's Ballroom which is only thirty minutes away from the packhouse and is one of the most beautiful ballrooms in San Francisco. I spot a lot of familiar and unfamiliar faces but don't pay mind any of them. I nod my head at them before getting inside my car along with Sienna.

"I am really excited to see Amanda in her wedding dress." Sienna remarks excitedly.

"I am sure she will look superb," I reply looking through some emails that I have yet to read.

I may sound like a b***h to many but my close ones know how I am in reality. So, I give no f**k about others' unnecessary thoughts about me. I have a lot on my plate so I can't take a break either on a personal level or a professional level. The pack's security depend on me because I am the one who train the warriors and if I talk about my company, then I am the only one who makes all the decision.

Finally, after a very long drive the car stop in front of the venue. I get out of the car followed by Sienna before rushing towards the guest room where I know Amanda is getting ready. However, I think I am a little late because her parents are already in the room ready to walk her down the aisle.

"Look, who decided to grace us with her precious presence!" I roll my eyes hearing Brittney's snarky comment who is unfortunately Amanda's cousin.

"At least I wasn't busy sucking anyone's d**k to be late," I reply smirking at the way her face become red in anger.

"You!" Brittney tries to come towards me but thankfully her mother catches her wrist to stop her.

"Auntie, please take Brittney out of here. I don't want her to ruin my best friend's mood." Amanda says gently but anyone can hear the underlying threat in her tone.

Brittney's mother knows that it's futile to argue in the matter because it's not my fault that her daughter has a great reputation in the pack.

"What took you so long, Madi?" Amanda asks looking at me with a pout.

"The videocall had taken more time than I thought it would be. But don't worry, now I am here." I let out smiling at her.

"Thank God, you are here or she is not ready to walk down the aisle." Beta Dylan, Amanda's big brother remarks making me laugh.

"Don't worry, now that I am everything will be perfect." I reply tossing my hair in the back making everyone around me laugh.
