When the surveillance footage was sent to Alex he saw the event that took place immediately.
He rushed to the bathroom,when Alex got there you saw an unconscious Ella lying on the cold floor, his heart went into panic immediately.
That moment everywhere went cold and his eyes darkened as he was emulating cold air .
He quickly drove her to the hospital and she got admitted
"she must receive immediate and delicate care" he barked
After she was taken into the intensive care unit.
He stood for a split second as he does not know why he's acting that way all he knows is that he hopes she is safe and sound.
Somehow the clumsy incompetence assistant he met in less than 3 days now had the space in his heart
" I hope she's okay"
when the Doctor came out he immediately asked
"how is she,hope there is no damage done to her, do I need to import foreign medical equipment"
"No calm down,Mr Alex, miss Ella is fine, she only has a mild concussion which cause her to have a blackout she is completely fine now all she has to do is to be under supervision for 24 hours if they are no problem she can be discharged"
"Thank you doctor"
For the first time Alex said thank you "Can I see how now"
" yes you can"
Alex strides to the hospital room that Ella is in.
when he opens the door he sees her pitiful figure facing the window in deep thoughts.
Ella didn't even notice Alex's presence behind her until he spoke
" It seems as though, nothing happened miss ella" a cold voice sounded behind her
Ella flinched by the sudden voice behind her
" Good day, Mr Alex thank you for rescuing me"
she said sounding very weak ,Alex didn't know why but his heart actually ached seeing her in the hospital gown looking pitiful.
When she said that she tried standing up to thank him properly.
When he replied in a cool and calm voice "You don't need to stand"
he lays her back on the bed and looked closely at her saying
"If an employee of the Thorne group dies it will surely affect our reputation so don't see it at any other thing but I am only carrying out my duty as a CEO" he clarified. Ella wonders if the CEO actually rescues and carries each employee to the hospital.
"for one moment I thought he was actually nice,huh the devil nice" Ella's inner voice said
Alex's face still very close to hers kept staring at her eyes to lips. her cherry lips were now pale, Ella found it difficult to breathe as she wondered what Alex was about to do,the moment he was about to lean in Ella's phone rang disturbing the tension in the air.
Ella checked the caller and when she saw it was her mom she picked the call. "Sweetie you aren't home yet why, i been worried about you I tried calling you before but you went taking your calls"
" I'm sorry mom I was working so I had to put my phone on mute and I will be working late today"
"Will you be sleeping in the office"
"Yes mom"
"Oh my child don't overwork yourself out you always have mommy money to rely on"
"Yes I know I love you"
"I love you too dear"
"Bye"
Ella ended the call and noticed Alex had gone already,she sighed and decided to call.
Helen as she must have scared her today.
Helen picked the call almost immediately
"hey girl"
"Oh my god Ella how are you feeling I'm so scared right now"
" I'm fine no need to worry about me"
" oh my god who would have thought that Hannah would be vicious to lock you in a bathroom"
" How did you know it was her"
Well the CEO out for the surveillance footage"
"The CEO"
"yes, he literally carried you to his car it was so perfect"
"Oh could you quit the fan girl behavior and be serious"
"I am"
" Helen!!!"
" How do you plan on handling Hannah"
" I guess I have to discuss that with the CEO first"
" That's right i hope you get better soon"
" I will"
Alex walks in with dinner and a fruit basket.
Immediately ends the call with Helen and faces Alex
"I got dinner but they were too many so I guess I should just give the leftovers to you"
Ella smirked as the food did not look like leftovers but rather brand new she said nothing and thanked him
" Thank you Mr CEO for taking care of this employee"Alex said nothing and left to clear the hospital bill when he was done
Alex for suddenly began to ring and where he picked the other end said
" sir Hannah has been detained and we are waiting for your next order"
" That's good"
He said as cold as ever with a glint of sharpness in his eye
He came back with a file he said to her
" As a personal assistant I hope you know you are supposed to work 9 to 5 on weekdays and 12 to 4 on weekends"
"what"
"you heard me" Alex said coldly
Ella wondered what happened to his mood as he was sounding calm before "what,but that was not even in the contract"
" yes it wasn't but the contract has changed"
Alex brought out a file and gave it to her.
The contract states that Ella party B has to be on call 24 hours for Alex party A
"This is hilarious"
"I can't work on weekend"
"yep that's why you are moving with me"
