I thought about it for a second was there anything I really wanted to bring with me, I don’t think there was anything special well all but one thing. “I don’t need anything really, If you can pack my clothes so I have something to wear and then there is only one thing in that room of any value, it is a necklace that I keep in a small wooden box in my side draw, if you can grab that the rest can stay I don’t care.” No one knew about the necklace as I don’t usually wear jewelry. With all the abuse I got over the years if I wore it someone would just try and take it from me and it was the only thing I had left from my mom. She always told me to keep It with me it will protect me and even though I didn’t wear it I always had it.
Elijah and Jonas head out which leaves me alone and one on one with my mate Isiah for the firs time. I look over to him and he is staring at me like he is trying to figure something out. “What is going on in that head of yours?” Isaiah shakes his head and looks into my eyes “I’m just trying to figure out how lucky my brother and I am to have such a strong mate. To be honest we didn’t want a mate we thought they would make us weak but after being here and feeling this bond with you I cannot believe how stupid we were to think that. I can’t even imagine my life without you at this point and we are still getting to know each other.” Wow they didn’t want a mate and they still accepted me. Why would they think a mate would make them weak I thought they were always to make you stronger and to be the other half of your soul. “Why did you think I would make you weak?” Isaiah looked straight into my eyes while he spoke so I could see that he was being 100% honest with me, he had my hand in his and I could feel his emotions through the bond. “To be honest having a mate gives you a weakness, a target that our enemies can come after, if anything were to happen to you, I don’t know how me or my brother would handle it. From the moment your scent hit us we knew we were under your spell and would do whatever it took to keep you safe and to keep you by our side.” I felt a surge of emotions coming from him at that time. He leaned forward with his forehead touching mine. The tingles I was feeling was overwhelming and I leaned in and captured his lips with mine. The kiss started out innocent and soft and then Isiah moved his hands to my neck and pulled me closer to him and I moaned into his mouth. This gave him the moment to push his tongue into my mouth my arms now around his neck trying to pull him into the bed with me.
What am I doing, how did this happen so quick. For my first kiss this is amazing. I reluctantly pulled away as I needed air and looked into Isaiah’s eyes, that was just amazing. “Your eyes are glowing Aurora” I was so confused why would my eyes be glowing right now. “What do they look like?” Isaiah picked me up and we went into the bathroom and I looked into the mirror my eyes were swirling metallic silver with red swirls. “Tala why are our eyes doing this?” “Because we were happy and turned on by our make our emotions are tied to our powers, we will start to learn them and how to control” “Ok so this won’t happen every time I am starting to feel happy?” “No once we learn control it will all be ok, if not your powers could start to surge”. “So I asked Tala she said it’s because we are happy and our powers are linked to our emotions. She said we will need to start training and we also should probably fill you and Elijah in on what I truly am” “Wait what are you talking about Aurora? Are you ok?” “Yes Isaiah I am ok, however my wolf and me are elemental’s, we have special powers that we are coming into we are still trying to learn them and we just received them on our 18th birthday. We haven’t trained with them yet, the only person who know or who has seen my wolf is Jonas” Isaiah nods his head “we will get through everything together and we will all help you train and get control of your powers. Do you know any more about them or how we can help you train?” “I am not sure all Tala said was that once we get home we can start, we need to be around people we can trust as she has a weird feeling something bad is going to happen” with that Isiah growled “NOTHING BAD WILL HAPPEN TO YOU I WILL KILL ANYONE WHO TRIES TO HURT YOU” this made me smile. I have only had one person who treated me this way since my mother died and to have Isiah and Elijah in my life now I couldn’t be happier. I just smile and look at him and kiss his cheek. “Thank you Isaiah I can’t wait to go home and be with you and Elijah, and thank you for Jonas, I know my relationship with him may make you uneasy but it’s nothing romantic I only have eye for you and Elijah no one else.” This made Isiah smile, I cannot wait to take a shower and leave.
