Chapter 5: Apology accepted

I woke up and did my own routine before the maids could even get a chance to. I was still annoyed with everyone so I decided to treat them like nothing as their punishment, and my reward for not flipping. I went to the kitchen around 4am to eat breakfast, and after eating and cleaning up my own mess, I went to the office to get an early start to the day, the office is the old kings, it was mostly analog handling, everything had its place and he had kept it neat and organized so it was not that hard to handle the job, I sort of enjoyed it and loved the smell of paper, and the sound of the ball point pen I was using, he had multiples, in different colors, I usually use the black, but after finding out he would use different colors for different days, and shades depending on the topic and the severity of it, I started doing the same. I was actually getting a lot of things done, Thinking about it all, it used to be hard, but after getting pissed and just thinking of the work here as me being a CEO of my own company made the tasks a whole lot easier, because of what I understood with the law, I would be considered as the CEO. A few hours goes by before I start hearing people walking and yelling up and down the halls, I ignore it and another few hours goes by. It's past 1pm and I am getting hungry. I decided to go to the kitchen and make something light, not really in the mood for cooking. There is no one in the kitchen so I get to eat in peace and quiet. It was nice, I went back to the office without meeting anyone and actually finished my work, and then some. I had been going at it for hours so I thought to myself, why not take a walk. It said 18.24 at the clock so I could take a short walk outside and go make dinner. I make it out of the castle without meeting anyone going to the stone where the old man was put to rest and around the castle, everything is nice and quiet until I make it to the front of the castle. Everyone was standing there, and when I say everyone I mean it, in rows. 45 platoons worth of Warriors and all the staff from the castle, I look and think it's some sort of fire drill. When Great big White came flying. “As you know, we have got Big White in on the search,” Jules was talking about something, me not understanding anything, I didnt want to make a big deal in announcing myself, so I walked up to one of the younger maids. “Who are we looking for?” I ask in a small voice. “The Queen,” She says. And then she realizes who she is talking to, her hands cover her mouth in a squeaking gasp. Big white lands on the ground and the maid turns around and yells “MY QUEEN!” Everyone turned and looked at me. Great white comes over and nussel her face to me. “Hi?” I say as I stoke the scaly nose that was literally in my face. “Why are you looking for me? and why are you wasting manpower this way?” I ask still with a big dragon in my face. ‘They said you were in danger, but I felt nothing. I came to take a look. See you soon’ And big white was off, I wonder why she was in such a hurry, she could have spent a little time with me, lord knows the other dragons are with their people all the time. “WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?” Major Rude came walking fast over to me. I'm still confused. “Hello Major Rude good to know you are still a douche like yesterday” I said loud enough for anyone to hear. “What he means My Queen is. If you would be so kind as to tell us where you have been today, we have been looking since 6 am” I was about to laugh my ass off, if not for the very serious faces around me. “My office,” I said. Faces turning confused. “The whole day?” Jules asked. “Yes my babysitter, all day” and yes I did make it sound sarcastic. He took a step back and adjusted his uniform. “How come no one saw you then.” Major Rude said, annoyed. “WHO CHECKED THE OFFICE TODAY TO SEE IF I WAS IN THERE?” I yell. everyone looking at everyone. no one checked and I knew because I was there the whole day. “Hell I hope that I am never kidnapped and placed somewhere in the castle for you to find, when you dont even search the most obvious places,” I say, looking at the staff, noone is facing me, but for some reason it feels like they dont really feel tht guilty toward me, cause they all face Jules, possess me off. I turn around and head for the kitchen, I'm starving and they are just not helping my mood swings today. I start cooking as I get there. I am about done and placing my food on a plate, I just made some eggs and white toast. When Jules, Julia and 45 Majors stand in the kitchen. “My Queen” Jules starts but I hold up my hand, i'm not doing this. “I don't know who you are looking for, but check the bathroom, because I am eating.” I say and continue eating. Jules is quiet, Julia not saying a word just standing there, her face is all stern, kinda smiling to myself a little, I finish my food, clean up after myself and walk past them all into the hall heading straight for my bedroom. “My Queen” Jules tries again, but I wave back at them, not even turning around, or falling for the pleading in his voice. Right when I take the handle to the bedroom, a hand slams on the door making it impossible to open. “We are not done,” Major Rude said. I look up at him and smile. “No cause you never found me” I said, he staggered back. “Hell of some f*****g warriors the old man had, cant even find one person in a f*****g office where she has been the last 2 weeks getting everything under control” I say turning around seeing alot of Majors standing uncomfortable on their feet. “But then again, not like i'm the Queen or anything, having guards in the halls at all hours would be wasteful especially since the old royal family have been sending threatening letters the last 2 weeks” I say, the last bit not true but taunting them was fun. “My Queen” I held up my hand again. “What did you say?” I ask Jules and he looks around “My Queen?” I smile and giggle. “Oh so that is what I am, sorry I thought I was some child needing guidance for everything, even taking a s**t, good to know” I turned around but Major Rudes hand was back on the door. “I am having a real tough time controling my what ever you call it, so unless you wanna be on the floor gasping for air, I would move the the f**k away” my teeth are clenched to control my anger as I talk, Major Rude steps back and bow, probably not happy about it either. “Teach your dogs how to act, or I might have to change the whole thing to someone who has some respect for me.” I say as I open the door. “Or I could just go back through the portal, and live my life” I smirk as I close the door. Getting in, I go to the bathroom and then to bed. I was totally bust.

The next morning I woke up at 4am again, feeling rested but pissed off again, I walked out and low and behold guards were standing there. They bowed their heads, I was about to just walk away but this chance I could not let go. I walk over to one of the soldiers. “I'm going to the kitchen, you know the one where you make food, to eat breakfast. Then i'm going to my office, the one where the ruler sits most of their days figuring your lives out. Just if you are confused as to my whereabouts” I walk away, knowing I have hit a nerve. I did as I said, Kitchen and then office. Guards were standing in every hall and two were in front of my office. I walked in and 45 Majors and one Jules and one Julia were standing in my office. I looked around and saw that they had touched my stuff, not just stuff but paperwork. I'm getting a little pissed. “I was under the impression that only the ruler was allowed in here, unless other deals were made?” I said, as I walked to my chair. Julia finished. “We are aware, my Queen, but we heard that you were coming to the office and we wanted to apologize for our behavior yesterday. '' Jules said, head high and standing at attention together with the Majors. I nod. “Apology accepted,” I said. “Now for the punishment of going through confidential papers” I said. A loud swallow could be heard from Jules. “But my Queen you accepted” I stopped him “I accepted your apology for yesterday's behavior, which was absolutely not my fault. But going into the Queen's personal office, without her being present and ruffeling around my paperwork” I said, as I got up from my chair and walked closer to Jules and the Pack of dogs behind him. “I think I have read a law stating that if such things happen, the ruler can choose to punish with execution, no questions asked” I say, and look at Julia. She turned pure white I was pissed, they were disrespectful, and were just annoying to be around. “But my Queen its Jules, he would never challenge your authority” Julia says. “How would I know? I don't know any of you more than that of a…” I stop to think. “Nope I really only know you are starting to be really annoying and for your alls information, I never actually asked to be in charge of this sorry excuse of a realm. Hell I am really considering just going where Great White is and not coming back” ”You can't you are the Queen” Lydia said, or rather yelled. “Really, I sure as hell would not know that from the way you all are behaving.” I said. “Now piss out of my office before I make my kill streak go up to 47.” They were silent and yet again not doing as I ordered. My powers went off, the whole room filled with smoke, not just ground level but all the way up to the ceiling, they all layed there in their own misery, trying to breath, trying to get out but I was not letting them, my mind was now clouded and their pleads that was close to not there were not helping my mood. “Please” Julia said, as she clenched her shirt. I just looked at them, feeling nothing from this act, I would have thought I was going to feel sad, or at least guilty but no, I felt nothing.

One minute I am in my office pretty much killing anything and everything and the next I am hanging by a large claw and looking at the castle becoming smaller and smaller. I look up and see great white. This is also the time where my actions sink in and I start balling like a child. We flew for a long time, not really knowing where we were going but away, and that was really just fine. All of a sudden Great white lands on a snowy mountain, she puts me down and we walk into the cave in front of us. Inside the cave is a smaller black dragon, don't get me wrong he was still massive, but smaller in contrast to great white. ‘This is my mate’ Great white says. I nod and go to him, I bow and the dragon freaks out, big eyes confused. GW starts laughing, the whole cave moving and the same drumming in my chest as when the old man did it. ‘He is confused as to why you bowed’ I shrug my shoulders. “It felt right” I say, GW lays down and I sit on her front leg, resting up against her. “Why am I not freezing?” I ask as I look at the black dragon, not knowing what to do about itself. ‘I am lending you my powers’ GW Said, I just keep staring at the dragon, cute as hell when it finally lays beside GW and me, “I thought you could only do that when some sort of trust had been met” I said, considering stroking the black dragons long horns that was just there, in front of me. ‘Yes and no, Theodor, I trusted everything and when he decided to trust you with me, he also gave you the chance of morphing with me.’ I was getting sleepy so nodding was all I did. ‘But you never took it, not even after I talked to you. You did not take advantage of the power I was giving you, we are family so why would I make you freeze?’ GW said, I closed my eyes and once again let the tears roll down, she sure as hell dont fell like she is treating me like family. “I just want this to be it, getting you as my family, all that drama and s**t I get the rest of the time, is really not worth letting everything I know go, however little it may be” it was the final thing I said before closing my eyes and turning into a darkness that embraced me.
